I KNOW.... like??? hal was my ticket into DC comics, i didnt know shit abt dc until i picked up g.reen lantern and then it went... so i started tracking tags and following dc blogs and??? i was just so surprised at the amount of hate people blatantly leave in the tags and reblog... like... it makes me so sad, i wasnt prepared for this :( i love hal a lot so whenever somebody just shits on him it makes me kinda upset bc i identify with a lot of his characteristics a lot (LIKE THE FACT THAT HES A TOTAL FUCKING MESS LIKE I AM).

i feel like people hate him bc they dont know him, but how can they know him if dc keeps pushing him away and pretending he doesnt exist anymore... i know some people are jealous that he’s still the most famous gr.een lantern and he gets the most ‘screentime’ and not their fav but idk... i genuinely dont know why people hate him and it makes me sad :((((( hes a good guy?? he genuinely tries to put other before him, despite his massive ego... yeah hes emotional and loud but ??? hes!! allowed to...... i love hal i wish more people knew that hes not just a meme or somebody to shit on

For real.  Typically I collect all Rogues (and most Reverse Flashes) action figures, but all the stuff being released around the movie is going to make that a huge challenge and maybe impossible.  But it’s cool that he’s getting all this exposure and love from DC!  Maybe non-Rogues and non-Squad fans will finally start giving him the respect he deserves.

Just to clarify that pic with Piper on DCUO isnt him on the game, it's a player's character dressed like him (there's a drop item that is Piper's Hood so you can dress your toon like him) Piper is in the game, but it's a different npc

Heh, in Suicide Squad Waller got him to dress up as Batman so the bad guys would be distracted from the activity of the real Batman.  Which led to a hilarious scene that’s shown above.

I think so, yeah.  As much as I’ve enjoyed Earth-2 storylines, I want them to focus more on Earth-1 next season.  Even apart from Zoom, we know there’s more Earth-2 stuff coming in a few episodes.

There’s basically three factors to take into consideration when commissioning a sketch: what you can afford (or want to pay), which artists’ work you like, and whose style suits the character best.  For instance, sometimes I think a particular artist draws women better than men, so I ask them to draw Lisa (and conversely I’ll get artists who draw men better to do Roscoe or another Rogue).  Some artists have a more grizzled style than others, so I’ll get them to draw Len.  And so on.  As for finding people, your best bet is to wander through Artist Alley and see whose work you like.  They’ll have prints or original art at their table for you to look at.  Or if you really want to do research ahead of time, you can look up the art of people on the convention guest list and see what kind of work they do -- if you can find examples of their commission work, all the better.  Some artists do amazing professional work when they can take their time at home but don’t do as well in a con setting, and some are really great at flying by the seat of their pants at a con.  Good luck, I hope you can find someone you like! :)
