Bodypaint and Swimsuits. These are a few older pieces done by the artist Bryan Crump of The Crump Effect. He has been bodypainting since before 2001. When he first got started he was dealing with some complications from overmedication from the VA. It would take more than ten years for him to reach this level with his work. Today he still has his personal challenges and has been working to overcome disability and create something that he wants to leave a positive mark in the world. Bodypainting has been taking media by storm lately with shows like Skinwars, Faceoff, Project Runway, Naked Vegas and so many more... Bryan is one among many talented artist that exist in the world. Bodypainting is not new to the world and is in fact one of the earliest known ways that humans have expressed themselves. Some tribes across the world believed there were certain spirits, insight and genius that would not come to you, until you were first transformed or transformed yourself. It can be hard to do in an age of information overload. This unique art form can take many hours, and in its creation can teach many things such as patience, focus, stillness, meditation, communication and presence, just to name a few.
Introducing the first incarnation of our new logo. The butterfly represents metamorphosis, transformation and transcendence. The Flower is also a Star. The Antennae are disguised initials for The Crump Effect. Within each of us may be a collection of vast untapped resources, gifts and ability. Our goal is to help our clients, team and community discover these so that we can reach greater heights together. More to come. This is only the beginning...

A few resolutions for 2014...
This year, I am working to have a business plan, system, and framework so I will be able to do more and get some more goals accomplished. I am working on a better organizational system as well. I want to learn to use social media more productively and helpful, not just random, but having a healthy balance and still remaining real. The body painting has led me to meet some extraordinary people. Through businesses and organizations like Toastmasters, World Body Painters Association, Oklahoma City Ballet, Professional Photographers of America, Silly Farm and the recent attention of several directors and producers myself and those I have been working with are extremely excited. We are working to have more resources and I will be working on several collections of art, fashion and costuming. This is going to be an amazing year... Time to move towards our goals.. On another note, I have been practicing Yoga and Dance in an effort to get healthier, have more stamina, focus and skillsets. Big things are happening.
