These chocolate hazelnut praline bars are a delightful combination of crunchy graham cracker crust, creamy chocolate, and sweet hazelnut praline. They make for a perfect treat for any chocolate lover.
Ingredients: 1 cup hazelnuts, roasted and chopped. 1 cup chocolate chips. 1/2 cup butter. 1 cup graham cracker crumbs. 1 cup powdered sugar. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Instructions: Line a square baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Stir in the graham cracker crumbs and half of the chopped hazelnuts. Press this mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. In another saucepan, melt the chocolate chips with the heavy cream over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt. Pour the chocolate mixture over the graham cracker crust in the baking dish, spreading it out evenly. In a separate bowl, mix the powdered sugar and the remaining chopped hazelnuts. Sprinkle this praline mixture evenly over the chocolate layer. Chill the bars in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or until firm. Once set, use the parchment paper overhang to lift the bars out of the baking dish. Place them on a cutting board and cut into squares or bars. Serve and enjoy your delicious chocolate hazelnut praline bars!
