You looked down and away from his face. If you looked at him again, your stomach was going to turn. When he spoke again, you heard his voice breaking.
“I’m sorry that we see things differently,” Loki said. You heard him shift towards you. His fingers moved across the back of your hand. You dare not look at him. You had to leave now before you changed your mind. This was the best for both of you.
You moved away from Loki. He grabbed a hold of your arm and tightened his grip.
“Please don’t. You’re making a mistake. Please stay.”
You turned to see his face. You were met with a distraught face and you felt your heart breaking.
“You made it clear that you don’t trust anyone to stay in your life.”
“I thought you would be an exception to the rule,” Loki said.
‘But i’m not you.’
