currently participating in an x-vember art challenge over on instagram .... just finished with the first 5 days, which were, fittingly, the first 5 x-men... the first class, if you will..... und i just wanted to share them all right here ^-^

all very rough WIPs but here are my human designs for some of the jellicles :3 the DeutBros and Vic & Quaxo 😛

- in my version, quaxo is his real name and mr mistoffelees is his stage persona - though, as he reveals his magic, he starts going more by his stage name.

- he is initially hesitant to show his magic to any other jellicles because of their history and perception of Macavity, the only other magical cat they had (as far as misto knows, at least)

- tugger knows early on about the mistoffelees persona and his magic

- it's a strong insecurity for tugger & often a point of contention that he looks a lot like Macavity . after macavity's betrayal, munkustrap avoids tugger for a little bit. this is for a few reasons, but this one is the most apparent to tugger

first 3 are: my Deltarune OC (Reco), my X-Men OC (Maisy/Wallfly), and Jenny from My Life as a Teenage Robot... i followed a tutorial from @/woah_its_lara on instagram for them and just had . a LOT of fun with it 😭😭😭

then there's Rogue, a spamton sketch that i hated very much 😭 but i colored it anyways... then nightcrawler & lime chiffon, then a little sketch of mimi from @onettbrat 😛

posted this to my insta (close friend) stories but i wanted to put it somewhere PUBLIC

CONCEPT: Maisy pulls at her antennae as a stim/nervous habit ... this is NOT good for them (it irritates the base and puts too much tension on them). during a checkup, Hank noticed she'd been doing this so he's trying to get her to break the habit. HERE, he sees her doing it and he's like "hey stop that" and shes like yeah probably i should... but now shes got all this anxiety with no place to channel it so he's like . 'hey dude you can squeeze my hand if you need to put that pressure somewhere' and so . well . yeah . it does help

below the cut cuz that was getting long BUT this also takes place before they get together. she's lowkey into him at this point so she's like OUGHAHHHg my goddd im holding his handdd holy shit......... but he's literally oblivious he's just like 'im so glad i can help her 😁 im killin this!' 😭😭 despite that though this isnt NECESSARILY ship art of them ... thats just the subtext . i just really wanted to explore their dynamic + maisy's nervous habits
