Juliet’s Pancake Burp - By darkflame8
Description
This is part of a trade with darkflame8/darkflame8. My half is here: aryion.com/g4/view/499760
It features my cryokinetic character Juliet Winters, who is sitting in a diner, having used money from one of her bounties to dine on stacks of pancakes, though they do make her gassy, much to the disgust of the staff.
Cryokinesis isn’t the so much the manipulation of ice, but more so the manipulation of heat/absorption of heat.
I’d argue that the reason most known cryokinetics have an ‘immunity to the cold’ isn’t because they do, but because they absorb so much heat from their powers that it’s almost like they do.
How to care for your cryokinetic (or just someone who’s cold all the time)
-be wary of their surroundings, is it cool? Is it warm? Boiling hot? All of these things will affect your frosty friend
-what are they eating/drinking? Is it warm? Hot? Or cold, like ice cream? These things will definitely affect them. Especially something cold. If it’s even slightly cool, temperature-wise, and they’re having something cold to feast on, beware of the shivers.
-the shivers! Do not be alarmed if your cryokinetic starts shaking and shivering. If need be, help them warm up, otherwise the shivers will eventually go away on their own. However, they are very uncomfortable.
-make sure they don’t overheat! Having a love for heat, they will always want heat 24/7, even in boiling hot summer weather if they feel even a little bit cold.
-but also make sure they stay warm in cold weather. While having a love for heat, they may be reckless about their sensitivity to cold, and might even believe that it isn’t bothersome/harmful to them.
-a cryokinetic’s best friend? Hot drinks (hot chocolate for me, personally), warm blankets (hugs could work too), and cozy clothes
-be wary of yourself! Unless you are willing, always be watchful when a cryo says they are cold. They might be on the watch for a victim to grab with their icy hands! Protect your neck, arms, hands and face. Maybe even stomach. That’s where they would attack. Their feet could also be freezing, so be wary of your bare feet and legs! Perfect spots for a cold feet attack.
Care for your cryokinetic!
A villain for the cold, Black Ice, I liked the contrast of a big heavy leather jacket with an Ice Skaters nimble frame.
Finally a reference sheet for my sister's fursona! She's a Rat with Ice Powers! (The shirt here is based on a real shirt she has and I take no credit for its design. Artist is Geekhandmade on Etsy and you can buy it here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/951598368/moon-and-mountain-travel-space)
