"Akumatized Us"🦋

In the 1st artwork, Chat Blanc's design is different cuz it's my "2.0" look (which keeps changing every time), It's like if he ever comes back a second time, but in the canon timeline. I love the og design so much, drawing him like this here is mostly a choice, as a way to distinguish him from Chat Noir! (since I don't color my traditional artworks). Drew him with the canon design in the other art since there I used my Ephemeral Redesign instead!✨️

THEORY / ANALYSIS TIME!

CHATBLANC RETURN OR LADYBUG AKUMA?

Idk if yall've heard the theory that everything that happened in the ChatBlanc Alt Timeline is supposed to happen in the Canon Timeline, but differently and at different times in a different order?

I've made a list of stuff that happened in the episode since I've first heard of it a good while ago [List is written below, keep reading⬇️] and then I started writing down/add all the things that did, in fact, happen in "canon" afterwards in some way (been working on it for months and still editing it whenever I notice stuff as the new episodes come out).

I have to say right now we're way over 90% match and the biggest thing left is an Identity Reveal! (both between the heroes and also with the villain)

These theories talk about how this might be leading up to another Chat Noir akumatization... But honestly, with all the new powers ChatNoir is unlocking in s6 (which are the same ones as ChatBlanc's), I wonder if who's gonna get akumatized isn't supposed to be "ChatBlanc 2.0", but Ladybug!

Cuz if HE gets akumatized again as ChatNoir there's the risk the planet gets destroyed within minutes with his Unlimited Destruction and everyone will die again, there's not much she can do against his giant laser beam...

But if SHE gets akumatized then he might be able to use all his new powers to counter her Unlimited Creation as he's gonna be as strong as ChatBlanc once we get there (if we keep unlocking powers at this rate). Like he did in 'Dearest Family' when he destroyed the planet-sized Galette, thus avoiding the destruction of the Earth and everyone's death.

Now that LB has infinite Lucky Charms she might be able to summon one after she gets de-akumatized by him (like in Heartfixer, but as LadyNoir) and throw it to restore everything with the MiraculousLadybug?

Unless she can't cuz it's "too late" like in the NY special, so maybe the Miraculous ChatNoir gets used again and it turns out the power has also the ability to destroy everything the Ladybug Miraculous created? His Miraculous exists to counter hers, after all!

And in 'Heartfixer', she didn't get to make a Magical Charm to Protect herself in the future, which means she's still at risk and she knows it. The final scene where she hides the letter in the yoyo basically confirms she's aware it can happen again and the ominous music makes it feel like it's a big foreshadowing.

This might be what the Canon Timeline wanted to happen instead of Adrichat's akumas, now that Gabriel is dead and Crysalis is onto Maribug...🤔 [also cuz LB is the only one missing of the "4"]

"ChatBlanc VS Canon Timeline" List

Things that happened in Chat Blanc's timeline that also (did/will/might) happen in the canon timeline [lemme know if you think other events match better than the ones I picked], I'll still be updating it as the episodes come out.

🚫Adrien doesn't find an object/clue that makes him realize Mari is Ladybug (maybe in season 6+ he'll find things that make him connect the dots? Could be an item, a gesture, a word or her behaviour!)

✅️Adrien confesses his love to Marinette, who hesitates at first but then goes for the kiss (Determination, Transmission, the rest of s5)

✅️Adrienette start dating for multiple weeks, they eat icecream together and have a party on the Cuffaine's boat (Perfection s5, Emotion s5, Revelator s6)

✅️They become famous online as a couple, people are putting the focus on who Marinette is, as she's the girlfriend of the famous model (Climatiqueen & Revelator s6)

💫In CB's Timeline, Gabriel convinces Mari to break up with his son by threatening her family's business, so she goes to his house and tells Adrien the news (Gabe wins). In the canon timeline (Pretention s5) Gabriel tries to convince Mari to break up by offering her 'Pancakes' (a life of success), but she refuses, goes to Adrien's room and tells him she's never going to leave him (Gabe fails). He also tries to break them up a few times after they start dating, but fails (2nd half of s5).

✅️In the CB Timeline Gabriel tries to Akumatize Marinette who's sad cuz she broke up with Adrien, but fails cuz he Cataclysms the akuma and they get back together. In the Canon Timeline he tries to Akumatize Adrien who's sad cuz Mari rejected him, but he fails cuz they feel better after giving up their Miraculous (Transmission s5). Crysalis also wants to akumatize Marinette, so she akumatizes her thanks to her being sad cuz she broke up with Adrien, who fails to cataclysm the akuma, but Crysalis's plan is ruined as she gets no answers, Mari gets de-akumatized and they get back together (Heartfixer s6)

✅️In 'ChatBlanc' Adrien runs after Mari, Gorilla lets him go and he gets there just in time to stop the akuma, they 'reunite' in a Hug. In the canon timeline, Gabriel sends Adrien to London, so Mari runs to the airport to stop him. She gets there just in time to say goodbye, Gorilla lets him go, they 'reunite' in a Kiss (Revolution s5), they also 'reunite' in a Hug and a Kiss when Adrien de-akumatizes Mari in Heartfixer (s6)

💫Chat Noir directly prevents an Akuma from 'evilizing' Marinette, who was upset 'because of him', but this time no reveal happens as he stopped it by kissing her (Elation s5), instead of cataclysming the akuma (CB). But then another akuma goes for Marinette who was upset 'because of him' and he fails to Cataclysm it, turning her into Heartfixer (s6), Adrien does reveal himself to save her, but she and the villain don't see it, unlike in 'ChatBlanc'.

💫Nathalie doesn't discover Adrien is Chat Noir and doesn't tell Gabriel things anymore as in season 5-6 she's working against him. However, she later discovered Ladybug's identity so this could lead to a different result? She's working for the Council but she hasn't told them LB's identity yet (London Special, s6)

✅️Gabriel and Adrien fight eachother. In 'Chat Blanc' he already knows his identity, in the canon timeline it happens without Gabriel knowing ChatNoir's, but he knows Nightormentor is Gabriel (Representation s5), he fights his image again in 'MisterAgreste' (s6) & destroys his statue (flashback in 'LadyChaos's6)

✅️In 'ChatBlanc', AltLadybug tries to calm AltChatNoir down as he gets akumatized, but fails because he's too devastated and got a command. In Canon, Adrien tries to calm Mari down as she gets akumatized, but fails as she's too devastated and she can't hear him.

💫 Final fight against Monarch, this time Mari fights alone as BugNoire, Adrien doesn't get forced to be akumatized using the amok rings and/or his mother's sight to upset him (s5 finale)

✅️In CB, Ladybug saves Chat Blanc by reasoning with him as she fights him, she manages to de-akumatize him by pretending to kiss him. In the canon timeline Adrien saves Heartfixer by trying to reason with her and solve the misunderstanding they had, he manages to de-akumatize her by kissing her.

🚫No identity Reveal/Realization yet between Ladynoir (only partial realization? Cuz both already kinda theorized their identities correctly at least once in the past but they haven't confirmed it yet, they aren't thinking much about doing that anymore, but since they're dating eachother they might realize stuff slowly anyway)

🚫No Identity Reveal between Ladynoir and the Villain (looks like it's gonna happen soon tho, Crysalis is investigating 24/7)

✅️Sweet Love Confession with a Kiss, starting their relationship officially (Re-Creation s5, ik they were already together, but they had a bunch of obstacles)

✅️The first hug in the Adrienette montage in front of the school in Chat Blanc looks like their hug in the Season 6 intro, Chloe is far away too (top of the stairs in CB/London in s6), it's them just meeting at school and being lovey-dovey basically.

🦋Marinette makes Adrien a 'gift', being the only one who listens to him when he's sad about leaving for the tour, giving him the strenght to confront his father about modeling (Risk & Strikeback s4, Multiplication s5) [unless this is about him finding/receiving Gabriel's letter? Or is it the fact he did get the hat at the end of the CB episode, just masked as a gift from fans? Idk] ->EDIT: HOLY SHINS GUYS, WHAT IF NOW THAT HE SAW MARINETTE HAS THE LETTER AND SHE GIVES IT TO HIM AS LADYBUG LATER, WHAT IF WE REPEAT WHAT HAPPENED IN CHAT BLANC WITH THE GIFT WHERE HE SAW MARI CARRYING IT IN THE STREET AND THEN HE SAW LB LEAVING IT IN HIS ROOM!?!

💫🦋 "Adrien" finds out about Emilie's coffin by going in the basement, but in 'Chat Blanc' and 'Ephemeral' it was Adrien, in the canon timeline it was Felix dressed as him (Risk s4)

✅️ ChatNoir and Ladybug become closer, they can always rely on eachother, even if she's keeping secrets from him, he still cares about her a lot. I mean: Sunset scene in Chat Blanc she doesn't tell him about her timetravel and he says he's fine not knowing what's up with her, London special he says it's okay if she can't tell him everything that happened in the final battle. In 5-6 they're besties but LB is still hiding secrets. Adrien is getting a more and more suspicious, but he still cares about her a lot. (For now at least)

✅️In 'ChatBlanc' Marinette breaks up with Adrien, in 'Heartfixer' Adrien breaks up with Marinette, but they stay together after clarifying the issue (both timelines).

💫 Giant beam of light envelops the world and destroys it (ChatBlanc's mega cataclysm Vs Gabriel's Wish)

💫Gabriel gets cataclysmed and dies (CB, Destruction & ReCreation s5), but in ChatBlanc, Adrien is the only one who knows all the secrets and how his father died, while in s6 it's Marinette who knows while he doesn't.

🦋Adrien hasn't told/avoided to tell Maribug he knows her ID after discovering it (hasn't discovered it yet) OR One of them keeps a big secret from the other and doesn't tell them, while they're dating, until something bad is going to happen (Mari hiding the Truth from him)

✅️"Gabriel" throws Chat Noir into a building and he falls in the middle of the empty square (Mister Agreste s6)

🚫Mari learns CN's identity which makes her take a step back & question if she truly loves Adrien, since she realized she didn't know him as much as she thought (in canon she might take a step back after realizing how much the Lie is hurting him? Or when Adrien will need space to figure out his "Real-self"? Like the endscene of Climatiqueen s6)

✅️Mari avoids Adrien for a while cuz she's confused about her feelings (1st half of s5)

🦋 Mari doesn't tell him she knows his secret until she feels ready to reveal herself (could be her arc in s6 with the Lie, In canon?)

✅️Luka helps Marinette sort her feelings for Adrien (Determination s5), both times while they're practicing for KittySection at his house.

🦋Maribug seeing CN in a new light whenever they're together (could be their dynamic in s5, or after a future reveal?)

🦋Adrienette cinema date Fail... In canon it initially failed, but they managed to watch a movie at the end (Illustrhater s6)

✅️Ladynoir rain scene where she understands she really is in love, as he offers her his hand (support). In Ephemeral it was the umbrella. There's a lightning & thunder in the distance -"Coup de foudre"- (Strikeback s4)

💫Monarch Gets both LB&CN's Miraculous and unifies with one of them (with Cat in Ephemeral & with Ladybug in Deflagration s5), but in s4 he wins cuz he akumatized Adrien and ambushed her, in s5 he fails cuz the Resistance ambushes him & Mari tricks him.

✅️Gabriel throws Mari into a wall while she's not transformed(💀) (Deflagration s5)

✅️Gabriel successfully makes his Wish.

ADRIEN'S "VILLAIN ARC" (Antagonist)

I don't think Adrien will have an antagonist arc right after we resolve Marinette's (or even if it's still ongoing):

1) It's out of character and it would actually damage him, since it's against his morals to hurt people for his own issues (there's been that time with Kim and Darker Owl, but hmm idk);

2) If he moved to the "Dark Side" and help the villain, It would mean Mari was right to hide the truth from him;

3) Two antagonist arcs back-to-back seems excessive to me, writing-wise, it's too much (Mari's this season and Adrien's next season);

4) He's more mature than he seems. I don't think the fact that his father was Monarch will shake him that much (his mother in a fridge and him being a Senti prob will tho), but he still will be very angry with LB/Mari for not telling him (but they'll make up later, eventually);

5) Given point 4, it wouldn't be an 'antagonist arc', it's something else. There will definitely be a brief separation between the two. If I'm right about Adrien figuring the Secrets out on his own, then him distancing himself from Ladybug (& Mari, if he also figures out her ID), this situation might be replacing the Wall that's been Between them so far (the masks), THE NEW WALL BETWEEN US!!

6) HEARTFIXER IS A HUGE FORESHADOWING OF SOMETHING BIG COMING for Mari in s6 finale or in season 7!!! Especially with the Ominous music in the bg of the end scene where she admits she's scared she'll be akumatized again once Adrien won't side with her if he discovers the truth (she wants to prepare herself emotionally first? She understood he's ready to know). Also, the way she got de-akumatized by Adrien made me even more convinced that he will be the one to solve (most of) the Crysalis arc.

7) From what I understood, the Crysalis Arc will end in s8, so It makes sense we get: s6 Mari antagonist arc, s7 reveal + Lovesquare rifting away (1st half) and slowly reuniting (2nd half), s8 Lovesquare full comeback (stronger together) and Crysalis defeat!

This is why I don't think there's gonna be a second ChatBlanc nor an "Adrien Villain Arc" anymore (I thought CB was returning until I watched 'Heartfixer', never thought Adrien would become a full Villain instead). This is why I now think the CB timeline has been building up to a Ladybug akumatization all this time instead. It's gonna be huge and it's going to require everyone's help to stop it. However, it's not gonna reset the timeline in the end because it's ment to happen (since there won't be casualties or it's fixable, unlike ChatBlanc, who killed everyone), maybe somewhat similar to my Headcanon Storyline with my Fan Design. [Ignore her name lol, she needs to be renamed now]

*Lil Note: Also, since they're both Victims of Gabriel, while I think they will/might split for a bit, I also belive that if they actually distance themselves from eachother for longer than a bunch of episodes (due to anger and betrayal), I would honestly count it as a Post-Mortem Gabriel win, as that was likely his plan all along for sure (from since he discovered her ID in the s5 finale at least).

They'll maybe need to let it all out in a crashout and take their time, but they have to come back stronger quickly, cuz Gabriel was the one who wanted to ruin their relationship and they shouldn't allow a dead man to decide for their future (might be why Adrien keeps repeating that Gabriel didn't want him to be in love with Marinette every time he talks about him). Plus, there's an army of villains ready to terrorize Paris and they need to fight together, like a team, like partners💖
