I think Garmadon and Overlord have an interesting dynamic that’s heavily under explored
#imagine having the overlord as a major villain then not giving him any character focused scenes with either Garmadon or Pythor#i’m still so mad at that Great devourer being sent against the FSM family by overlord himself scene#cause imagine revealing that big plot point and then have.. Harumi??? be mad???#instead of y’know#the man who had his entire life ruined by it#having to battle himself internally for years then eventually losing himself and by extension his family with it#or his kid who had to bare the pressure of the mere thought of the possibility to kill his father by his own hands#who had his father stay away from him in fear of facing him#who didn’t have a normal childhood because of such unfortunate circumstances#remember when Garmadon wanted revenge and got it on the great devourer? killing her by his own hands?#yeah I miss when Garmadon showed immense distaste for those who ruined his life#I think Garmadon and Overlord should’ve had an actual character focused interaction#having Overlord try to appeal to Garmadon’s evil side#to turn him against his family a second time#it could’ve been used to cement Garmadon’s choice to do the right thing#to show how much he changed from the last time we saw him in march of the Oni#man Crystalized you suck so bad#i’m mad at this season cause it genuinely could’ve been the best season Ninjago had to offer#it had the potential to be#but alas that wasn’t the case#anothers art#ninjago#lord garmadon#sensei garmadon#overlord#crystal king
