Contestshipping Week 2017 Final Day: AUs
(AU: Breath of the Wild/Pokeani)
This is what happens when I have a lot of BotW feels and the theme of the day happens to be AUs. (:
Contestshipping week | AU Day | Little Witch Coordinators?
Yeah, imagine May enrolling the wizardry school because she wants to be the very best - then she meets Drew, that rich pompous talented boy who becomes her rival. Of course after going through a lot of trouble and adventures together, they become friendly rivals… Maybe something else?
Harley pranking May with magic potions and tossing love Luvdisc arrows in a ballroom to create tension and confusion. Yes plz.
(my pc was turned off while editing the first pic of this set and I couldn’t save half of the original edit… sry, not yet in a mood to redo the missing parts again OTL)
CS Week Day 5: Aus (FE au lives on~)
May comes across Drew and witty banter begins, later on he saves her and is then asked to travel along the group. It’s later revealed that he’s the Prince of LaRousse and left to witness the world, needing to see what it was like out there. May doesn’t treat him in any different like he wanted to, and the two start to get closer. As their quest ends Drew is left to take the throne, May departs on her own quest and both hope to see each other again. 3 years later, May comes to recuse him this time.
Contestshipping Week 2017 - Day 3
Day 3
Theme: Fake Dating
Rating: GA+
Crazy
“Drew, I can’t believe this! Are they crazy?”
“Always assume our fans are crazy, May.”
“No, but they’re actually crazy.”
She waved the damning magazine article she was holding in the air. “Look at this trash magazine. There’s a conspiracy going on that we’re not actually dating.”
May didn’t know where the idea had sprouted up from, but the conspiracy was everywhere. From Facebook posts to Twitter posts, to youtube videos and of course, magazines like the one she had in her hands. The reasoning for most of the articles seemed to say that perhaps them dating was a ploy to promote contests and get more people to watch them, as viewership was starting to decline. Which was simply stupid because she didn’t participate in contests for the money, it was an art dammit. Not to say that her income didn’t rely on the viewership of contest on TV but still.
“Like, sure maybe we’ve been starting to get marketed as the coordinator power-couple and we may have done one or two ads for some extra money here and there but it’s not like we’re dating each other for the money,” she complained.
Drew, who until now had been seated comfortably on the opposite end of the sofa, very much concentrating on the sudoku puzzle he was doing, finally looked up. “Oh yes, I’ve seen that article before. Actually, yeah they’re right May, I am dating you for the money.”
“Drew!” May huffed indignantly, throwing a pillow in his direction. He caught it, as she thought he would.
He placed the pillow down on his lap. “Alright, alright, this is actually bothering you, isn’t it?” He patted the pillow. “Come here.”
Seeing that her boyfriend was finally paying more attention to her worries, she stretched herself out so that she could lie down, with her head on top of the pillow that he had. “I mean, can’t they see that Mr. Rose himself is totally head over heels for me?”
“I’d say you’re the more obvious one. You were practically drooling over me during last month’s interview,” he teased her.
“Okay, fair enough, but you know I’m totally weak to suits.” She had better not start remembering the image of Drew in that suit because she might just start drooling again. “Actually, saying we’re fake dating is bad enough but some of the fans are saying that I’m in love with you one-sidedly. Like, are you kidding me? Especially since it was the other way around for ages.”
“I feel like your memory is a bit off there.”
“Nu-uh, you can’t still be in denial about that. You totally had a thing for me ever since we were kids.”
“You’ve got no proof.”
“Solidad told me, there’s your proof.”
“Wow,” Drew gasped with mock-hurt, “et tu Solidad?”
May laughed at that. When she was done she caught Drew looking at her softly. They may tease each other a lot but she was certain about his feelings about her, no matter what any outsiders were saying.
“Hm, you know what, I think I’ve got a plan on how to settle those rumours for good.”

A few months later, they participated in a contest together. Much to May’s delight, she had beaten Harley to reach the finals against Drew. It was a long and hard battle, but she beat Drew, with as much grace as she could manage. They had been doing this long enough that they both didn’t mind too much if they lost against each other. Little did Drew know that this time was going to be different.
“And here we have it, folks,” Vivian, the MC, told the audience as May accepted her ribbon. “As always, thanks for being brilliant and we hope to see you next- ”
“Wait!” May exclaimed, “I’ve got something to say!”
The audience murmured, wondering why she interrupted Vivian. Drew look visibly confused as he too sat in the stands.
“Can we get Drew down here?”
Then all eyes were on Drew. It looked like he had no choice but to awkwardly try and squish his way past the audience members down to the contest arena. He gave May a questioning look as he walked up to her. May grinned at him, before asking Vivian if she could borrow her microphone. With it in her hands, she addressed Drew.
“These past two years together have been the happiest of my life, Drew and I really mean that,” she said. “We’ve been friends for many years longer than that, and maybe even more importantly, rivals. You’ve always been the one to push me further than I could have ever dreamed. Sure, you could have been a bit nicer about it sometimes, but hey you did give me roses in exchange so I forgive you.” A small ring of laughter arose through the audience. “I’ve already said this many time, but I’ll say it again, I love you Drew.”
Drew was looking about as red as his roses at the public proclamation of love that May was giving him, which made the audience ‘awww’ at him.
“I really can’t imagine life without you, so Drew,” she got down on one knee and presented the ribbon she had just one to him, “will you marry me?”
The audience erupted in ‘ohmygod’s and thunderous cheers. Long-time fans of the two even started crying their eyes out, some out of happiness and some out of despair that someone else had proposed to their idol before they could.
May smiled up at Drew, who looked absolutely speechless (which was rare for him, really).
Drew, after a few minutes, seemed to realised that he still hadn’t answered her. “I…yes of course I’ll marry you, May, I –”
“Yes!” May jumped up and threw her arms around him, laughing with pure joy.
He squeezed her back tightly, before letting go so he could take a good look at her. “You’re such a handful, you know that?”
“I know, but you still said yes,” she said.
“Yeah but you knew what my answer was going to be.”
“Sure did!”
Drew kissed her right then, short, sweet and warm, and May couldn’t be happier.

[“We’ve been married for two years now and some people are still saying we faked the wedding, what is wrong with them?!” May cried, defeated, as Drew was filling out another sudoku puzzle.]
Day 1: Firsts
There's only one word to describe it: magical.
It was the night following the Johto Grand Festival, Drew's first Top Coordinator title, and my first runner-up. Drew, being the party pooper he is, decided he didn't want to hang out at his own celebration, so he pulled me aside and we went down to the beach.
It was the perfect night, too. Perfect weather, all the stars were out... We took off our shoes, walking along the shore, chatting as we listened to the crash of the waves. It was very casual at first. We were sort of just reminiscing, talking about when we first met, the Wynaut thing, and how crazy it was how far we'd come... like, how we used to not like each other, and now how we were friends and rivals and stuff.
We started holding hands at some point. I mean, it wasn't the first time we'd held hands ever--that was back around the Slateport Contest, when we decided to go see a movie together, y'know, just as friends--but we were still pretty shy about it.
So we went on like that for a while, but suddenly, he got really quiet and stopped. I asked him what was wrong, and he turned to me, his face bright red, and said, "I'm glad I met you, May."
I started blushing too, and that's when he leaned in for our first kiss, and--
"First thing's first," Drew suddenly cut in with a click of his tongue. "That's not how it happened."
"What?!" May looked at him incredulously, upset he'd interrupted her at the best part. "Yes it is!"
"Secondly, my face wasn't bright red," Drew went on without pause.
"Yes it was!" May insisted. "How would you even know? You couldn't have seen your own face."
"Well, let's hear it from you then, Drew," a woman said from across the table where the couple was sitting. She had a notebook open in front of her, whilst May and Drew's respective left and right hands were laced into each other. On May's finger sparkled a brand-new engagement ring.
"She mostly got it right," Drew remarked with a flick of his hair. "But I said, 'I'm glad we met, May,' not, 'I'm glad I met you, May.'"
"Oh, sorry," May said, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Such a huge mistake. My bad."
"Gotta get it straight for the press," Drew said plainly. "I told you, if we were going to do this interview, we were going to do it on my terms."
May huffed, and the reporter let out a slight chuckle.
"It's appreciated," the reporter said. "But if I could go back to something you said earlier..." She flipped a page in her notebook. "Can you elaborate on the 'Wynaut thing'?"
It’s contestshipping week and this year I want to participate! Day 1 was ‘Firsts’, so I wanted to do like, a firsts for a couples Pokemon Contest when they were dating officially and stuff. Something they could do together as wonderful coordinators. (I chose those two pokemon bc they’re all I could draw ;;;;;; )
This is a day late. I’m a day behind. So busy but I’ll hopefully get each day done by Friday night.
