first day of contestshipping week 2026! it's my first time ever joining such a thing, so I'm doing my best here and I hope you enjoy!

I wanted to start working on every day a bit ago, but I ended up spending more than 2 weeks up until yesterday working on an animatic I wanted to have for the final day/contestshipping day, soo. I'm gonna try my best to make something small at least every single day instead of making huge things! day 1: food!

While I did answer 💖 in another post, I actually have an answer that involves both prompts as I view the situation as two sides of the same coin!

What I do discuss has been spoiled in the context of Shining Justice in previous asks, but I think I was able to keep the events vague enough to technically consider it spoiler free? Basically, iykyk applies here.

So, May falls into a shitty friend group that Drew also gets sucked into as a result when they are older teenagers. This, alongside their lives from before meeting, would basically result in them getting enmeshed for a good while, especially when the shitty friend group kinda just takes advantage of May's tendencies towards dissociative amnesia to gaslight her.

💖 What's a fluffy headcanon / AU you have?

However, Drew does snap them both out of the shitty friend group, and Drew sticks by May even as said friend group turns against May even harder due to events I may have talked about in another ask game.

They both also get the help they need. They both have pretty serious issues. In Shining Justice, everyone does have issues to be fair. They just are probably among the first to actually work on them.
