I found him on a trekking tour on Iceland, at the foot of a volcano. He had just hatched from his egg, but there was no sign of his mother far and wide. From a distance, we only once watched him and looked, if the mom would show show up, after all, we didnt want to anger a Dino mother. But it got later and the little boy began to whine badly. ⠀⠀ When it got bitterly cold, I could not help but cautiously approach the nest and the little babydino with a ham sandwich. Haps! I couldn't look so fast, when the big blue eyes looked at me and my sandwich was gone. Hilariously, the little green something grumbled and squeaked on the ground in front of me and cuddled against my shoes. I couldn't just leave him alone outside, what would you have done?? In my jacket I smuggled it into our hotel and fed him the whole holiday with ham sandwiches. His favorite :-) ⠀⠀ Relatively quickly, I noticed that Dino is a true frostbite. Probably because he normally lives near or even in the volcano and is not used to the temperatures here.
