I did a little art thing with my dad and brother tonight where we gave each other a character to draw, and here's what I drew :]

My dad gave me Harley Quinn from Batman: The Animated Series, and my brother gave me Culdee from the Railway Series by Wilbert Awdry

(My brother also gave me James from the Sodor Fallout AU made by TidmouthThunderbolt, but the drawing contains body horror so I've decided to stick it under the cut)

I should also note that I heavily referenced an edit made by TheSickSteven on Deviantart for this drawing

Culdee grumbled as he tried to make his way to the summit. An inspector from the Mainland, who didn't understand mountain railways, had insisted they have a crane trialled.

It was an awkward thing & due to the steep grade each puff sent the hook straight into Culdee's face!

So uh I know imma nearly a month late and it’s 4/22 so here have all my numbers 4 as of now!! ❤️💙💚💜

Emily is of the Wellsworth and Suddery Railway ( I mainly based this concept off Of Wildnorwester ver of her, she’s their version of an express engine/passenger devices,) A bossy yet well meaning girlboss who’s best friends with fellow W&S Lily and Neil and tries to stop the boys (mainly Adam from arguing with Colin).

I adore Stuart with all my heart and soul, he got a slight redesign, I based him way too much on Human Mikey’s (mainly Rise and KiKina on Twitter)designs cause their personality and roles are quite fitting since in this au it’s plays quite differently (ex. He’s got cracks to represent his accident with the trucks though the way it happened changed ex)

U can tell I’m obsessed with Rise Donatello so I had to based a character on his personality (though I based too many haha slightly inspired by glowynatior on Twitter) off of that + plus the anime trope of a mad scientist character plus meme time baby!!

So yeah hope y’all enjoyed these lovely folks and Rise Baby Rise Baby! ✨✌️

Day One: Dissection

Under the Knife, In Pieces

(Trigger Warnings: Gore, Dissection)

Godred couldn’t feel his hands. In fact, he couldn’t feel anything past his torso.

“He’s awake.” 

Godred’s eyes widened, recognizing the voice. Out of the corner of his eye, he could spot the diminutive figure of Culdee, holding what looked to be a scalpel. Culdee held the scalpel in one hand and was chatting on the phone with the other. He sounded annoyed. 

“Yes, I used anesthesia.” “No, he doesn’t know.” Culdee’s eyes widened, and he sounded surprised. “You want me to tell him?” Godred looked away from Culdee, and around the room. It was white, and smelled of disinfectant. He spotted several trash bags, oozing a brownish liquid, and smelling faintly of decay. 

“...Culdee.” Godred spoke, his voice raspy from misuse. Culdee looked down at him, green eyes filled with pity, as well disgust, and another emotion. Godred found himself beginning to scowl, angry that his runt of a brother was looking at him like that.

“What’re you looking at me like that for?” He demanded, licking his suddenly dry lips. He didn’t know why, but Godred suddenly felt...apprehensive. Culdee smiled, but it wasn’t a kind smile, but a vicious one. Godred watched as his little brother began to move towards where Godred was lying. 

“That reminds me,” Culdee began, in a mockingly sweet tone. “I forgot to tell you.” Godred glanced at the trash bags again, his brain was screaming at him to get up, but he couldn’t. He couldn’t even sit up, no matter how much he struggled. Culdee’s smile widened as he took notice of this.

“You’re having trouble sitting up?” He chuckled darkly. “There’s a good reason for that. You see,” Culdee grabbed Godred’s chin, forcing him to look up into his little brother’s eyes. He jerked a thumb in the direction of the trash bags, where the smell of rotting things had grown stronger. Culdee smirked, “Mr. Richards gave me some surgical tools, anesthetic, this room, and you, Godred.” 

Culdee grabbed the blanket that was covering Godred, and pulled it off. Godred’s limbs, his hands, arms, legs, had all been surgically removed, leaving only Godred’s head and torso. Godred could see that Culdee had not only removed his limbs, judging by the neat stitch lines on his ribs. 

Culdee replaced the blanket, draping it over his brother’s mutilated body, with the mocking sweetness of a mother tucking her child into bed. He smiled, kissed his brother on the forehead, and walked away from the bed. 

“Sweet dreams Godred.” Culdee whispered. “I’ll check on you in the morning.” He cut off the light, leaving his brother in the darkness.

So, a friend of mine mentioned she used to have this old Thomas The Tank Engine wooden train set, and she mentioned that there was this character in it called Culdee, who never appeared in the show but was apparently from the original books.

Now, Culdee looks normal at first:
