youtube isn’t working so i have to upload this here
Pardon me while I get the tissues *just going through some videos, I have the intention of making a music tribute vid lol but I’ve rerecorded so many times hahaha* I’ve since changed Cullen’s skin mod to put his scar and some of his stubble back. I missed the scar, I don’t mind the smooth shaven Cullen though tbh Also, THIS is why Performance Matters and we should as gamers support the Voice Actors
a post about Cullen taking game night too seriously made me think of this... Cullen: I said I get to be the GM this time! Now SHUT. UP. Cullen to Cole, probably. Stop talking to the figures and just roll the dice.
What Love Hath Wrought
Here’s the start of a FanFic I had an idea for currently it’s perfectly SFW :) Part 1 of I have no idea how many. Cullen sat in a corner of the tavern making a list of recruits that still needed training with a shield and who he could pair them with. Sighing he realized his work never seemed to end.
Just as he was deciding who to send to the Fallow Mire on a scouting mission a loud raucous burst through the door. He expected to see the Bull's Chargers storm through the door but to his surprise it was the Herald. She was however quickly trailed by most of her current inner circle of companions. Sera, The Iron Bull and of course his Chargers trailing like lost puppies who'd just found their best friend.
Cullen fixated on the Herald. Maker, she was beautiful, the thought sprang up before he even knew it, it was the same thought he'd had the day he'd met her in the field. The day he watched a miracle occur, she'd closed a Rift with what seemed like little effort. Easily a foot shorter than he, there was something ethereal about her, like something pulled from the Fade. He smirked at the irony of his thought. Cullen had never heard of let alone seen anyone with her violet eyes before, made even more striking by her raven hair. It really was no wonder she'd been named for the bird. He whispered her name, "Ravyn" liking the way it felt.
It took all Cullen's mental fortitude to pry his eyes away and snap himself out of his reverie. Maker! He had to stop thinking about her. They'd barely just met, and she hadn't even really acknowledged him since arriving in Haven. He couldn't blame her really, someone was always vying for attention, something always needing to be done. She also never seemed to be alone unless she was heading somewhere to to meet another visitor or work out plans with her companions.
He caught himself staring at her again wondering what it would be like to crush her to him and kiss her gently. Just as he began to look away again her eyes caught his. Cullen felt the heat of a blush rise into his face and quickly looked back down at his work. Ravyn entered the tavern with all her new friends. It was nice to spend some time not fighting demons or worrying about refugees. Oh, she loved doing those things, but it was exhausting.
"Hey Snow! You got someone's attention", chuckled Varric. His name for her made her smile. Varric had told her some tale about a girl named Snow White who had raven colored hair and the name Snow had stuck to her.
She glanced around wondering if this was another one of his teases. Just as she had decided it was her eyes locked with Commander Cullen's for just a second before he was looking down at the paper in front of him. No surprise there, the Commander never seemed to take a break. Before Ravyn could stop herself she was crossing the room to his table. She grabbed an ale from Flissa on the way.
A shadow fell across Cullen's table, blocking his light.
"Don't you ever stop working Cull...Commander?"
Her voice was melodic and his heart raced when she started to say his name, then sank as she corrected herself. The Herald obviously wanted to keep it professional he thought sadly. Looking up Cullen's breath caught in his throat,
"Well, I need to make sure our soldiers are at their best Herald"
She set an ale down on top of his papers. "Well, tonight you need a break, that's an order from your Herald!" A small smile playing on her lips bringing the warmth back to his face.
Ravyn started to turn back to her friends and hesitated just a moment watching Cullen. She felt a blush and stammered out "Enjoy yourself for one night Cu...Commander." Cullen watched her return to the boisterous crowd through his eye lashes. He didn't know what was wrong with him but she was all he thought about when he wasn't working, which was one reason he never stopped working. There wasn't time for personal issues when the world was falling apart around their feet and demons falling from the sky like rain. He sighed "We've got to get that breech closed" he thought, or the world truly would end.
Okay so I've been playing dragon age inquisition this week and I just can't stop thinking about how Cullen Rutherford would make such a great sim.
I like how the Dorian fans have a collective mental breakdown over Dorians revealed past while at the same time Cullen fans probably fart rainbows and butterflies by now. That’s Bioware for you xD
