This came after former incompetent governor and noted sex pest Andrew Cuomo lost the Democratic primary, entered the race as an independent candidate. Cuomo received the endorsement of President Trump and of corrupt current Mayor Eric Adams.

Notably, Chuck Schumer — Senator of New York and most powerful elected Democrat in the US — refused to endorse Mamdani.

Cuomo wasting no time doing some left punching. Though I don’t love Cuomo for a variety of reasons, in a two person race vs Mamdani I’d have to pick Cuomo.

And if you think Mamdani's policies are too radical, check out Brad Lander, a guy who has gotten about as much done from within the existing system as is possible and was detained by ICE for demanding they at least follow procedure.
