hello this is eli again continuing with his n-themed characters --- 

brought to you today is the nightcrawler, aka kurt wagner. my version of kurt is gonna be a mashup of the uncanny x-men, claremont’s nightcrawler, and various x-men movies.

kurt was born in the 70s in rural germany, and was almost immediately abandoned as a child.

he had yellow eyes, blue fur and a tail, two-toed feet, and three-fingered hands. he would also develop superhuman strength, agility, and his signature ability to teleport.

fortunately, he was rescued and raised by a sorceress named margali szardos. kurt grew up in a circus along with margali and her two biological children, loved and nurtured by the other performers and outcasts.

he had a happy childhood and eventually became an acrobat and aerial performer in the circus.

shit hit the fan when he unwillingly killed his adoptive brother, stefan, when trying to stop stefan from committing a murderous rampage. irony.

he then ran away from the circus and his family. fended for himself for a while, and eventually made his way to america and joined the x-men.

went on many thrilling and life-threatening adventures with the x-men ... including that one time when he actually died and went to heaven.

i’m gonna keep his relationships with the other x-men vague and open here, but i’d like to see his friendship with wolverine, jean, ororo and scott.

he has no soul. gave it up when he came back from the dead and stopped a literal demon from invading heaven?? ?

which sucks because he’s. very catholic.

his life is just irony after irony.

has a tendency to sacrifice himself. he’s usually cheerful and loyal, but that’s some serious issue with self-hatred hidden under there.

kurt is a teacher at the x-men school.

he used to be the nightcrawler. he could teleport via inter-dimensional portals, cling to walls, and team up with these lil’ elf-like creatures called the bamfs??

he lost his powers / mutation in the february explosion.

he stays close and organizes with his mutant friends and allies to help other depowered individuals.

losing his mutation is bittersweet --- on the one hand, he no longer has to struggle with his unusual appearance, but on the other ... adjusting to regular hands and feet is hard, he has to retrain his body to balance without his tail, being ‘ grounded ’, and he misses the bamfs.

janet van dyne / born an heiress - to a science company (?)

she was rich, nonetheless, and never had to worry about anything growing up. she could float through high school, university, fashion school. though she spent more time floating around the science campuses, trying to pick up the nerdiest guys she could find. ( she has a type. )

that’s where she meant one hank pym ; who promptly rejected any of her flirtations. still mourning to death of his wife, maria. 

jan, not one to lose, ever, set up hank in discussions with her father -- that she always tagged along to, full of flirtatious intentions and unhelpful comments.

what a peaceful existance that was not built to last.

she went home to her fathers lab one day, to find her father dead. not a natural death, but not an obvious murder. the police called it a heart attack and closed the case.

janet van dyne is also not one to take things lying down, and it helps when you know your crushing on beau is also the super hero, ant man. ( because hank pym is not at all one for subtlety. )

and then they bonded; for their loss, their pain, and their intention to not take it lying down.

she convinced him to perform the dangerously invasive surgery to allow her to become the winsome wasp  / and allow her to get the vengeance she so desired.

and so janet became the wasp ; a secret she did not care to keep for long. she is rich. she is an avenger. and she’s also the only person on the team that has any ability to get something done.

she’s died, but like, not actually died. she’s been married, and been divorced, and hooked up with almost anyone who’s a great distraction.

she’s also a founding member, and has been the chairman multiple times ( racking up 2nd most time as the position. )

she’s currently c.e.o of pym tech, as well as chief designer and boutique manager of van dyne designs as well as active avenger. 

she may not be the strongest, but she is the only one with fashion sense and a daily planner. 

she’s busying herself to try and ignore the whole depowering thing everyone is going through, because she is not a scientist, she just manages her ex-husband’s science firm because of legal reasons.

henlo. i love a woman and this is her. so uh. i don’t like titans much at all, but it did kinda construct a really solid version of dawn and that’s what i’m gonna primarily use for her backstory. i’ll mix in some comic stuff here and there though, but yeah ! 

first and foremost though, i’m gonna base majority of her relationships off of the comics and not off titans. the only exception is hank hall and her family relationships. those are founded on the series. her work with the titans and the justice league are all comic focused !

so dawn was raised in london to a pretty wealthy family. political figures and the like. her dad was a physically and emotionally abusive piece of shit and when dawn snapped, she broke his arm and hauled ass to america to get away from him. her sister, holly, followed suit not long after. she doesn’t have any sort of accent. 

on top of being a professional ballerina, dawn has close to a decade of martial arts and other dance knowledge. she’s light on her feet and incredibly agile, which made it much easier to adopt the dove mantle when the time came. 

dawn lost her mother the same day and in the same accident that hawk, hank hall, lost his brother ( the original dove ). they met again in grief counseling initially and found some semblance of relief from their losses in one another. 

eventually, dawn discovered that hank and his brother had been hawk and dove and hank revealed his story to her. she took it upon herself to find his childhood abuser and together they delivered some long over due and permanent justice to his nasty ass. 

at some point, they fell in love, moved in together, started working as hawk and dove officially, etc. as dove, dawn was blessed with above average dexterity and strength, but it’s weaned with time and age. when she first started, she also healed much faster than normal, but since it drew on her healthy body, too many wounds and too much time put too much strain on her every time she tried to heal. so now injuries that used to take a week tops take closer to a month if she’s lucky. that said, she’s essentially depowered now anyway so.

in the comics, dove is supposed to be hawk’s polar opposite, but that’s not the vibe i’m going for. dawn is still very reasonable and gentle, but she’s incredibly vindictive in her own right. she seeks justice through whatever means she deems necessary. she will be judge, jury, and executioner for the worst of the worst and she’s not afraid to be violent if it comes down to it. that said, she’s still much more soft spoken and has a much better grip on her temper and emotions than hawk. 

idk they’ve teamed up with a good many people in the comics so i’m up for any and all plots or relationships or whatever. call me eve ! i might pop in the discord, but for now i’m open on the IMs.

hi! hello! i’m val and i’m a hot mess! it’s been a while since i’ve been in a superhero rp, and i’m so excited to be a part of this wonderful group!

okay so let’s get down to business. 

katherine elizabeth bishop. 21 years old. trust fund baby. olympic level archer. superhero.

as a rich kid with all sorts of extra curricular activities kate acquired a series of skills that she would later put to good use by becoming a vigilante.

she decided to become a hero when she successfully -and quite easily- stopped a mugging in progress while taking a walk at central park.(rewriting her origin story ‘cause her comic canon origin story makes me uncomfortable so yeah)

eventually found others who shared her ideals and became the young avengers. (more to be worked out once we have more YA members, specifically where in the mcu timeline they fit and stuff)

in the comics during the civil war she takes up the mantle of hawkeye (so this is up for discussion, but this can be when she got to meet the avengers)

after the accords and due to her not being an ‘enhanced’ individual she continued her hero for hire business. 

she went from pain in the ass to practically an avenger.

this is short and messy and obviously not all of the events in the comics would fit/work or would have to have taken place at specific moments to fit MCU timeline, specially since most of the key players in kate’s life are not yet taken. i’ll be taking some liberties and adjustments here and there, and working mainly based on establishing connections to get her going. so please if there’s something in my portrayal that doesn’t make sense or i’m overstepping don’t ever hesitate to message me about it!! 

that being said i would love to establish some connections! i’m down for all sorts of connections just let me know if you are looking for something specific, or we can just start bouncing ideas!! i’m also down for working out some plots w/o any pre-existing connections, maybe they just met or something! i’m just excited to get some threads going!!

* POWERED 『 ― dread it. run from it. destiny still arrives for you, carol danvers. captain marvel is said to be forty one years old and she is a hero associated with the avengers. on good days they can be persevering but catch them on a bad one and they’re confrontational. on that note, don’t they kind of resemble kathryn winnick ? 』

this is my first time playing carol so be gentle w me. i’ve been reading a few series with her in it and recently rewatched a series she was in, i love my bb. she’ll be set as a mix of comic, the animated series and i guess what little we know about the movie.

the most important thing: carol has her cat chewie with her. she’s the idiot with the cat backpack, she absolutely invested in one of those. he pretty much goes everywhere with her, mainly because he wants to. if he doesn’t want to, then he won’t. no one can really control flerkens y’know. she loves chewie and sometimes chewie loves her.

carol is half-kree. her name is technically car-ell which is kree for champion. her mother is kree, her father is human. she was raised alongside her half-brothers, her father was an abusive dickhead who saw women as lesser than men so he always chose her siblings over her despite being abusive towards them far more than her.

carol, at a young age, wanted to be an astronaut. she was and still is fascinated by space, by the universe (or really, the multiverse, she’s a believer). once, she hitchhiked and got to go to a launch so she could watch it live.

after her father refused to send her to college and she had no funds to attend on her own, carol made the choice to join the air force. she rose up the ranks fairly easily, she earned the call name cheeseburger. while in the special operations, she worked with a lot of different people including some future x-men and avengers.

side note: i put her as ‘associated with the avengers’ because she kind of is and she’d probably fight alongside them, more so steve rogers because she and tony are Too alike and she’d probably just start a second civil war with him. 

carol did her whole ms. marvel and binary thing, i don’t really want to spoil a lot, i know people are getting around to reading her stuff now that she’s got her own film. she’s v powerful though honestly, a lot of people exaggerate how powerful she is.

she was briefly involved with nasa, wound up burning a lot of bridges there and then moved on from that point on. she did a lot of other missions and eventually came back to earth only to be hurt pretty badly in the process. she wound up isolating herself and fell into a vicious cycle of alcoholism which she is recovering from. she’s currently been sober for a while and probably attends a meeting over at the veteran’s centre.

i changed her fc and made her older because she is a retired veteran at this point as well as took on other jobs and other missions throughout the universe so it just seemed like she should probably be older. 

ever since the thanos attack, she’s been trying to do what she can to make sure that not only are people okay and safe but that she’s lending whatever resources she can while they prepare to battle it out, if he does actually show up.

this ooc intro is nothing compared to uma thurman as poison ivy walking in dressed in a pink gorilla suit, but i’m k and i am very excited to be here ! i haven’t played ivy in too long and i’ve been missing it ! tbh i,, lowkey just,, pull from arcs and verses i like,, so with that said,, here we have an ungodly amalgam of new 52, gcs, life and death, and no man’s land !

ivy, at the time pamela ofc, was born with a very rare skin condition that made it so she was unable to go outside without an extreme prescribed lotion. 

but that was a problem because she loved gardening! but back to that later-

her father was... very abusive ( y’all who haven’t read her n52 bg just WAIT for it ), but always ‘made up’ for it by bringing ivy’s mother flowers after hurting her. she began planting the flowers with ivy and told her about the healing process flowers essentially induced. we love a nice mother/daughter relationship.

well, one day, this child was minding her own business when, lo’ and behold, her father had killed her mother and buried her in their garden.

y’all see what i mean by “WAIT for it” i was shook to my core.

skip somewhere around a decade later because dc isn’t the best at full coverage and her father’s in jail and she’s in college, selling pheromone pills in an attempt to see if they ~manipulate the mind~ as she theorizes they might. bada bing, bada boom, she gets caught and is on the verge of expulsion, but manipulates the dean and graduates with two (2) honors.

update: what the fuck how did i forget to mention that she visited her father in jail one day, applied a special lipstick, and gave him a kiss before leaving?

you see, this is important because the next morning he was found dead.

oh man we stan.

shortly after, she went to work for wayne enterprises in the biochem division, but was fired pretty quickly considering her pills were... lmao immoral? 

however, there was a mixup with security and, while she was beginning to pack her things up, they came in to take her away and wow! get rekt! her compounds spilled all over herself and wound up turning her into the antihero/villain we know today ! they fucked themselves over on that one !

anyway, this is always really weird to type, but ivy essentially became... half human, half plant. i have had to type ‘half plant’ plenty of times in my life, but it never gets comfortable.

so now i’m gonna hop around a little bit and kind of just gloss over other notable arcs that i love and plan on incorporating, but aren’t as Important™ as the bg itself !

since i haven’t had the opportunity to talk much with the lovely harley and selina muns yet, we stan the gotham city sirens !, but getting their full take on it would be A1 before i... really dive in, ja feel ?

that being said, i’ll skip to ivy’s arc in no man’s land/aftermath of no man’s land, aka the arc that really just... sucker-punched me.

again, glossing over it, basically everyone wanted to force ivy out of robinson park after she’d taken it over in no man’s land. but ivy is the lorax, she speaks for the trees! 

but staying inside was basically a suicide mission, what given that their final solution would be spraying it with an INCREDIBLY strong herbicide, thus killing all plant life and... she’s half plant. they said multiple times that the solution would kill her too.

“i prick you with thorns and you respond with lead. isn’t that the very heart of the problem?” “some thing are worth dying for, batman.” BIIIIIIITCH this arc just GUTS me every time.

but, you know, given that she’s still alive........ one of the children she’d been sheltering managed to convince her to leave the park........... by also almost dying.

as for life and death, i’m not planning on acting on the whole “obsessed with finding a way to have children” part, but the career ? the passion ? the way she ruined her friendships and (wbk) relationship to pursue her cause ? hell yes.

i put her at a 5/6 on the kinsey scale. largely more attracted to women, but some men can get some.

obviously manipulates men the most, though. 

harley’s mun and i haven’t been able to speak much yet, but we do love some canon harlivy in this house, yessir we do !

on that note, fuck the joker.

honestly we could use a real life poison ivy with the way climate change and all is going today which really brings me to that link in the ‘antihero/villain’ part (i am so funny you guys). she’s obviously an extremist, although it has dulled down some, but she isn’t hurting or killing with no cause. all she wants to do is save the environment.

( SCARLET WITCH ) is said to be ( TWENTY SEVEN ) years old and ( SHE ) is a ( HERO ) associated with ( NO ONE ). on good days they can be ( PROTECTIVE ) but catch them on a bad one and they’re ( AGGRESSIVE ). on that note, don’t they kind of resemble ( JAMEELA JAMIL ) ?

Wanda was given up at birth as her mom was a single mother and she couldn’t handle having twins. They went to a foster home, where the parents weren’t abusive per-say, but they neglected the children, often acting as if they didn’t exist. 

The first power Wanda developed was her telekinesis around age 5, which she hid from everyone except Pietro. She didn’t know why she had this power, all she knew was it was there. As she grew older this power got stronger, but she became weaker. It felt as if part of her was missing.

When she was 12 she left home, she felt it was better for them to live on the streets than in the household. Eventually though, she felt herself fading away. A man approached her and offered her a solution to help her become strong again, and she accepted.

She and Pietro went under experiments from Hydra, which unlocked her full power.  The doctor who had worked on them showed compassion, and acted as if she loved the two, convincing them to stay. They didn’t know any better.

Events of Avengers 2 and Civil War go here.

After escaping The Raft, Wanda went to Scotland. She had heard there was someone there who could help her understand her powers. She stayed with the old lady, honing her powers and learning to control them better until suddenly she lost them. She has fled back to New York, hoping to find out how she lost her powers

Hello! I’m Morgan, and I’m excited to be here. I’m mostly pulling from MCU, 616 and my own headcanons. I will probably update this to add more at a certain point.

Peter Benjamin Parker was born on August 10th in Queen, New York to Richard and Mary Parker. He lived with them until he was 4, before he moved in with his Aunt May and Uncle Ben. They never told him what happened to his parents, other than that they died. Through research later in life he learned they died in a plane crash on their way to Switzerland.

Peter grew up in a multicultural household, with him learning Spanish and Italian from his Aunt and Uncle. They attempted to enroll him in a regular elementary school, but after the school recommended he skip 2 grades, they realized he needed to be in a gifted school. He attended the Brooklyn School of Inquiry all the way through 8th grade. After that he went to Midtown School of Science and Technology, taking some online classes at MIT.

Peter was bitten by a spider when he was 10. He didn’t think anything of it at first, assuming the pain was just from the bite. The changes that his body made he just shrugged off as puberty. He didn’t notice until he pulled the car off Uncle Ben. There was nothing he was able to do to save his uncle.

Peter fell into a depression of sorts, not knowing at all what to do with his powers. He tried to get rid of them, but once he realized he was stuck with them, he learned how to control them. He didn’t want anyone else dying.

Peter wanted to help during the Invasion, but he and Aunt May were on vacation at the time. He felt just as useless at the time. When he got back to NYC in the aftermath, he did everything he could to help people out.

He spends most of his time fighting what minimal crime he could at night, or spending time at school. When larger criminals did appear, he tried to keep the fights quieter and less impactful. He would try and fight down in abandoned subway areas when possible. He’s pretty much fought most of his earlier villains 

Homecoming happened in the sense he was offered a spot with the Avengers, but turned them down. Peter felt they were too reckless to a degree, and often times put too many lives in danger. He’s been staying and fighting on his own sense
