Ockiss 25 - First!

Ocs: my Luca and the lovely @dendrocrush 's Yumekui!

Luca, cursed to the form of a pig monster that gets punished for his greed, had thought he'd been doing…. Decent. At controlling his desires and whims.

He started to travel with a group in this rotten world - not that he wanted to, he would say cautiously, but they needed his help. Hey, he was a guy with some gold and a decent ability to fight. There were people in the group that… were *less* capable of fighting.

One example he found himself defending was Yumekui. Cursed just like himself (well all of his group were), and similarly not in his original form, the man was lacking desire entirely.

Luca wouldn't name his feelings desire, just in case - but he did think the guy would be dead without him. Luca simply fell into defending him well, along with their peers.

One night, though, Luca found himself drifting off into a dream. It wasn't often that he was relaxed enough for it, but there he was. He was always worried about dreaming with a curse like his - would he be safe from his curse, when it's so tied to his greed?

Especially since the man he defends is standing at the center of the home estate Luca once owned.

Luca stared at the apparation - Yumekui talked of having an “ugly” forme in dreams, somehow, he remembered. So if that's true, this one's just of Luca's mind, he guesses. He walks over to him.

“Alright then, brain,” Luca says, “show me what you must-”

Yumekui grabbed Luca by the tusks, jerking him forwards until Luca stood close, hunched over him. He stared up into Luca's eyes, mismatched colors entrancing him.

“You know. I never found the need for a kiss.” Yumekui spoke - luca cant remember when that came up in conversation, but it did - it had to have to be being said here… right? “I think it'd be fair payment for the way you protect me.”

What. What?! Wait-!!

“I couldn't- just- take that from you!” Luca said, though the dream made him lean closer, speak in a low, hushed tone.

Wait wait wait-

“It's fine. I know it's something you want.” Yumekui said.

Huh?! No- he can't desire anymore!!

His lips brush against Luca's. Slowly, he draws him into the role of the dream.

Will he die in his sleep? Or… no, the curse can't reach here… could it?

“Just accept it. You're the first to leave me wanting, after all…”

It's been so very long. Luca's first kiss as a monster… and it was so, dangerously sweet, he wanted-

Wait!! We'll die! NO!

Luca is shocked from his dream by his own heart. Still racing, he sits up, his ragged silk blankets falling away. His hand goes to his chest, taking deep breaths to calm himself. His heart was pounding. Despite how he knew, he knew it was a dream… it felt so real.

His face was so red. His body felt hot, his heart… oh god.

“Are you okay?” Yumekui's voice made Luca jump out of his skin.

“Ah! Eh- I'm fine!” Luca said, a touch loudly before he shrank back, “We're- yeah, just um. Yeah. A dream.”

Yumekui stared at him.

Luca stared.

“Was it… a good one?” Yumekui asked.

“Um.” Luca shrugged. “It was… something.”

Yumekui tilts his head. “Do you… need to talk about it?”

Luca sighed. “Gonna be honest? I don't think anyone would want me to.. It's just my curse, trying to tempt me.”

Besides… he can't speak the truth his dreams are making him grapple with.

He wants to be Yumekui's first kiss.

A new angel OC! This time...well, you can call him Lucifer-that's what they started calling him, anyways. His world was locked away from him in a sudden betrayal by those he raised who fell under the sway of a nefarious egregore. They thought they'd dealt with him permanently, but have they?

honestly, this is one of my favourites oc's but I don't really use her much. she's very hard to deal with, mostly because of how she perceives the world and interacts with people around her.

she and her brother are my favourite sibling duo, although they hate each other to the point that they both actively try to kill one another. she has some reasons to hate him, but to be honest, they aren't his fault to begin with when he, on the other hand, has very strong reasons to wanting to kill her. this girl is so delusional that she blames him because of what their father did and because of their mother's poor health.

I think that one of the parts about her that I like the most is the fact that her body produces flowers and other plants or mushrooms when she's feeling some kind of emotion. everything has its meaning when it's growing, which I think is a very great idea. she basically has a lot of scars and not so good health due to this curse.

anyway, her name is Chronico Van Amstel.
