It has been a few days now. He seemed to remember. He..really did.

That at least, was what Taroutachi was hoping. Jirou remembering him and not nodding along out of courtesy and a sense of duty. The Ootachi tested him in small situations .... doing gestures only shared between the two of them before, preparing food in a special way or asking for his favorite sake cup (It was the one they shared the three traditional sake sips at their wedding- of course. Jirou refused to ever let it go).

And the other seemed to pick up on that, knowing everything by heart while having a few issues with some memories.

While Tarou did not want to fall into a self set trap, he found himself fall into that embrace. Really... he just wanted it to be real.

Everytime he locked eyes with those trusting, golden ones of his Jirou, he could see him. The one he knew, even if there was still something else there. Even now, while resting his forehead against the others'.

They had the onsen to themselves, so it felt even more intimate in the crisp night air, just the stars above them and some lanterns lighting their bath. "Aniki, you really don't have to be distant" the smaller one laughed, which led Tarou to close his eyes. He missed that. This laugh, being called aniki, not being able to resist any request made.

"I know. I just missed all of this, all of you. I want to cherish every second." he opened his eyes again only to let his lips meet the others'. They were soft, plump, only the taste of sake missing - it was best to not let Jirou have too much of it from the start, just to be able to tell if something was wrong.

There was desire in this kiss, but different than sexual. It was deeper, a soul calling for it's missing piece, a long awaited reunion. Even if this Jirou wasn't 100% his, Tarou would love him. In every version. A single tear even escaped the ootachis eye, a witness of the deep bond they shared.

The losers had gotten together in the clubhouse that Christmas to exchange gifts with each other. Well everyone except for Eddie, his mom had kept him cooped up during the winter, so he wouldn't get sick. The other losers had hardly seen him, it was upsetting and Richie couldn't help but think.

Sometimes Sonia Kaspbrak could be a real bitch. He handed his present to Bill, "Merry Christmas Bill." Richie said sadly. Bill took his present and unwrapped it, his brow furrowed. "T-Tampons? Gee thanks Rich." He said tossing them to Bev. "What's wrong R-Richie?" Bill asked. Richie shrugged.

"I miss Eddie." Bill nodded. "W-We all miss him Rich." Richie felt the tears prick his eyes and he scrubbed his face with the back of his hand. "I gotta go." He said running out of the clubhouse, going up the stairs and riding his bike to Eddie's house.

Once he got there he ditched his bike and went to Eddie's window, he knocked on it and waited. A few seconds later Eddie was there, peering at him through his curtains. His eyes widened when he saw Richie standing there. He opened the window a crack and whispered. "What are you doing here!? My mom will kill you if she finds you!" Eddie hissed out.

Richie shrugged, “I came to see you Ed's, You didn’t really think I’d let you spend Christmas alone, did you?” Richie asked.

He smiled at him. Eddie laughed,

"Alright Rich, but if my mom finds you, we're gonna be in some deep shit." Eddie said pulling Richie into his room, with his good arm. Richie clambered in and fell face flat onto the floor. "Ouch." Eddie laughed and helped him up.

"Are you okay?" He asked and Richie nodded. "Oh, I almost forgot!" Eddie said going to his drawer by his bed and pulling out a little wrapped present. He handed it to Richie sheepishly. "Merry Christmas Rich." He said with a small shy smile. Richie took the gift from Eddie and ripped it open, It was the new Batman comic!

Richie's eyes sparkled. "Wow! Thanks eds!" Richie said with a big happy grin pulling Eddie in for a giant hug. Eddie blushed and pouted. "Your Welcome but don't call me eds!" He said. Richie pulled back, "Oh! I almost forgot!" He said pulling out his own gift for Eddie. Eddie's eyes brightened.

Richie pulled out a small box that was poorly wrapped and had the words" To: Eddie, Love Richie." Written across it. Eddie took the box from Richie. "For me?" Eddie asked and Richie nodded. "Merry Christmas Eddie." Eddie smiled, "Thank you Rich." He said and he ripped the wrapping paper off. The box was a box of band-aids with colorful dinosaurs on them.

Eddie gasped in surprise. "You like it?" Richie asked and Eddie nodded smiling. "I love it! Thanks rich!" He said pulling Richie in for a hug and when they seperated he kissed Richie on the cheek. Richie blushed and Eddie did the same. "Um, merry christmas, that was also part of your gift." Eddie said quickly looking away from Richie with a blush dusting his cheeks.

Richie nodded still blushing, "thanks eds, I love it." Eddie looked at Richie before he laughed shoving his shoulder playfully. "Jesus Rich that was so corny!" He said laughing and smiling. Richie laughed too. Eddie then heard his mom calling him from downstairs. "Oh shit! You gotta go!" Eddie said pushing him to go out the window.

Richie nodded, "Okay, yeah I'll see you later huh? Eds?" Richie asked. Eddie nodded, "Yeah, I'll see you in the spring." Eddie said rolling his eyes. Richie climbed out of his window and went to leave when he saw, some mistletoe growing on Eddie's window pane. "Oh wait Eddie, look." Richie said pointing up to what they both were under.

Eddie blushed. And Richie smiled leaning in and giving Eddie a peck on the lips. He then ran away and hopped on his bike.

"See ya later eds!" Richie said biking away with a dark red blush and big happy smile. The last thing he heard as he was biking away from Eddie's house was.

"Don't call me Eds!!"
