And you are like why are any of you all acting like this summer would be normal when our ICU beds are all full with Omicron patients and doctors and nurses are still begging people to stay at home, wear their masks, and get vaccinated? 

When all those shutdowns happened in the US back in 2020, there were only 600 cases in the entire country!! How come we shut down over 600 cases in the entire country, but now are acting like its just normal and okay to go back to “normal” life when there are millions of new omicron cases every day?

This country is so fucked and the people are so ignorant 

The shutdowns were performative, just so the US could feel like they tried. All this country cares about is money, and all the people care about is themselves and how much their own life is being impacted by shutdowns.
