Tomorrow We Might Tell A New Tale | The @cape_winemakers_guild was formed in 1982, with the intention to drive innovation, benchmarking and shared knowledge in the South African wine industry. 47 wines have been specially crafted by @cape_winemakers_guild for the #CWGAuction which will take place at @spierwinefarm on Saturday, 5 October. According to the @cape_winemakers_guild: “the 2019 auction line-up comprises of 28 red wines, 12 white wines, three Méthode Cap Classique (MCC) wines, a brandy and one port-style wine, making up the tally of 1 932 cases (6 x 750ml case equivalent). Whole Bunch | “So, it’s had a nice time in the barrel.”- Sebastian Beaumont presented @beaumontwines Leo’s Whole Bunch Chenin Blanc 2017 at the @cape_winemakers_guild preview tasting at @nedbank. The wine was matured on gross Lee’s for 18 months in new barrels, it is the second iteration of the Leo at the auction for him. The first was made in 2011, the year that his son Leo was born.
