I've just been lucky enough to have my first COVID vaccination and I've just got to say a huge thanks to everyone at the Cwmbran stadium vaccination centre.

I know they've been doing it for months but I was impressed by how nice and helpful everyone was (shoutout to Mel!), and how smooth the process was.

I'm very grateful to have had the first dose, and I know that it's a privilege that many people around the world are unable to access.

Big thanks to everyone at the centre, and in the NHS altogether. Alot of people really appreciate everything you've done for us through this insane time, and we love you for it.

Redwing, Monmouthshire-Brecon Canal, Forgehammer, Cwmbran 3 March 2018 par Torfaen Corvine Via Flickr : Another day, another redwing (Turdus iliacus). I found this one further down the canal than yesterday, at Forgehammer. He was darting from tree to tree near the water’s edge, digging around the bases for food. Redwings are winter visitors, arriving from September and overwintering until around March, although a very few pairs will nest in Britain. They are the smallest member of the thrush family in Britain.
