Urban Guerrilla - By Ahmet Atıl Akar
Hey Bethesda why the fuck you don’t have cyberdogs in ya games yet.
New Vegas Companion Headcanon (Part Four)
Once again, thanks to @kourumi! I’ve only got Veronica Santangelo, Craig Boone, ED-E and Arcade Gannon left, so I must ask: is anyone interested in me doing headcanons for other companions?
Headcanon: Rex the Cyberdog
Headcanon A: Realistic
Rex managed to complete his brain surgery in time, with the donor being the Legionary dog Lupa. These melded well with his own memories of the Legion, and his new mind quickly adjusted to the myriad memories.
Headcanon B: While It May Not Be Realistic, It Is Hilarious
One time, Packer made a comment to some fellow Kings members about “that broken mutt” and glared at Rex. Unfortunately for Packer, Rex heard these comments and definitely did not appreciate them, as he went up to Packer and attacked. While Packer wasn’t bitten, he did have the back of his jeans bitten off, exposing his arse to everyone in the Kings building. After that particularly embarrassing incident, Packer always kept an eye out for that cyberdog before saying anything.
Headcanon C: Heart-Crushing And Awful, But Fun To Inflict On Friends
When The King finally passed away, Rex was absolutely crushed. He curled up on The King’s heart bed for weeks, eating nearly nothing and barely going outside. The loss of The King crushed Rex, as he had just lost one of his closest friends in recent memories. After what seemed like ages, Rex left The Kings building and never returned to the Mojave, instead living out the rest of his life in Big MT with his dog lover Roxie and all of their cyberpups.
Headcanon D: Unrealistic, But I Will Disregard Canon About It Because I Reject Canon Reality And Substitute My Own.
Sometimes Arcade will find Rex following him around the Old Mormon Fort, following behind the doctor like a shadow. Arcade was freaked out at first and tried to shake off the cyberdog, but Rex always managed to figure out where Arcade was hiding. The Followers doctor soon softened his stance on Rex, once he saw how much The King loved the cyberdog, with The King even going so far as saying that anyone that Rex loves, is someone the King would like to get to know better. After hearing this, Arcade made sure to spend as much time as possible with Rex.
"Cyberdogs" is an action shooter game made by Ronny Wester from Sweden in 1994 for the DOS system. Before the start of the game, we will be able to choose one of the three available characters and choose weapons through the appropriate amount of money. In each mission, the player's task is to find the right amount of items and eliminate enemies on the board. When we find them all, our additional task is to find a way to exit, which will complete the mission. After completing the mission, we can optionally buy ammunition for our weapons, as well as increase the armor and buy additional lives. The player loses one life when the health bar is gone. The game is over when all lives are exhausted. In this game, we can play with one more player, where the gameplay becomes even more enjoyable. Interestingly, the author of the game lent some sound effects taken from the game "Doom". The game is released under a freeware license.
Cute picture that happens when you complete the Old World Blues DLC from Fallout New Vegas. I can sort of accept that cyberdogs can breed (the organic parts for that, well, I didn’t think they were there as that part is robotic) but to have the metal transfer to the puppies? Ummm....a bit mindblowing, but still freaking cute as all hell!
Anyway, here you go @fishplague You can have your very own cyberpuppy compliments of Travis and his amazing dogs Rex and Roxie.
