I looovveee cycles. I love it when a characters repeats the same mistake and fail in the same way forever and ever and ever. characters who consciously or otherwise engage in destructive behaviors which are detrimental to themselves and everyone around them. because they think they can do it better this time. because it's what's familiar. because that's all they know how to do.

Unbearably funny pnat moment is when Max and Johnny have a page where Johnny is constantly touching the famously touch-adverse Max and Max is allowing it (or at least not protesting), then it cuts to a flashback of June and Peter's first meeting which directly mirrors Johnny and Max’s first meeting, and then it cuts to Mina (who was recently established to also parallel Max,) basically turning to the camera and going “By the way, just a reminder, I got into a gay relationship with my middle school/high school bully and we went to prom together. I, Mina Zarei, need you, the viewer, to remember that me and the girl who bullied me in middle school got into a gay, lesbian, queer situationship with the woman who bullied me. She bullied me and we where gay. I just needed to remind you of that, right now, for no reason.” Like okay. Wowwww. What could Zack have possibly meant by this.
