Choose Your Own Starter - Kazuichi Soda
Looks like Kaz blew out his ears again while working and can't hear, how will you get his attention?
-> Stomp your foot so he feels the vibrations -> Wave a hand in front of his face -> Tap him on the shoulder -> Yell louder
very quick profile pictures for spotify playlists i churned out. admittedly one is rougher than the other
Stanley?
Stanley, are you alright?
We're continuing, remember?
Or are you too transfixed by the memory room to move?
I get it Stanley, I do.
Find a door
Stay still
Zone out
Find blankets. Maybe a pillow
I adore these two Sam dresses on Estella and Emmeline. I don’t think I’ll be taking them out of these outfits any time soon :)
Princess Shiori Igarashi
for @boomchicapopdat‘s Create Your Own Story Challenge
Age: 19 Gender: She/Her Ethnicity: Japanese Kingdom: Takemizu Traits: Creative | Ambitious | Bookworm Aspiration: Spellcraft and Sorcery Alignment: Untamed Magic Skills: Charisma (3), Dancing (0), Fitness (2), Logic (2), Mischief (2)
Bio:
Within the mountainous and serene village of Takemizu is hidden an ancient secret: shrouded from mortal eyes exists a grand magical kingdom where legend says only the most powerful of spellcasters reside. Shiori Igarashi has spent her entire life behind those walls, most of those years passed in daydreaming of a way out. As the only offspring of Emperor Ginjiro and Empress Narumi, Shiori must be wed by her 20th birthday to an eligible prince in order to ascend to the title of Empress and keep the royal line within her family. In reality, Shiori has no interest in continuing on being a royal: as princess, she’s been raised in relative seclusion from the rest of their citizens, only interacting with those members of their royal court and the servants who tend to their castle. Her parents have taken great strides to ensure that Shiori is raised to be the next great Empress and bearer of the generation after her, including plenty of lessons in the “feminine” arts of conversation, diplomacy, and art. Though Shiori always loved her schooling (so much so she requested a library be built in the castle) she’s always craved to learn more about her magical abilities. As it stands, her parents only allow her to learn practical magic to perform menial tasks. However, Shiori has made a friend out of the son of an imperial general who frequents the castle. Whenever possible, they meet in secret and he teaches her various untamed spells, and tells her tales of great nations outside of Takemizu. Shiori longs to travel the world and learn about the culture and magic that her parents have denied her.
Takemizu is a kingdom that is essentially frozen in time. Though the village that surrounds it is filled with mortals who have progressed with the rest of the world’s technological advancements, the hidden kingdom still preserves many of the traditional architecture and lifestyle that existed when these spellcasters first went into hiding. The one modern luxury that has been implemented is indoor plumbing. Typical wear consists of traditional silk kimonos and linen ukatas. The citizens of Takemizu pass their days in work of sustaining the kingdom, and through many festivals that celebrate the seasonal changes of the year as well as the long history of their magical roots. At the center of their mythology is the tale of the two circling koi fish, who are fabled to be the origin of the philosophy of Yin and Yang. It is believed that with all light comes darkness and all darkness comes light, and the tale of the koi’s eternal circling serves as a reminder of magics consequences on the world.
Shiori is a very curious soul and is willing to put a lot on the line to learn the full extent of her magical ability. Her trip to the Kingdom of Dornne would be focused on finding her one true purpose. And perhaps that purpose includes falling in love with Prince Evander…
