current obsession is thinking about my golden age primogen (or the harvest, so I've dubbed them) so here are some fun facts about them :)
the group consists of 6 primogen and 6 apprentices, one for each primogen. some are of the same clan, some are not; a somewhat controversial choice on the part of the prince
there's a mandated dress code for them lmao, it's a black and white suit styled to the wearer's preference. the only exception to this rule is for the malkavian primogen, who claims to have "forgotten" the rule every time its brought up because of her derangement. she does this a lot
there's an unprecedented documentation of all of the proceedings of the primogen during this time. unfortunately, all of this documentation is unavailable to most because it's being guarded by the current Tremere primogen, who is more than happy to use blood magic to protect it
the group used to take annual (or as close to annual as possible; being a kindred makes it hard to keep track of time) photos!! they were like mobster family photos, they're probably still out there somewhere
(funny side note: Cyrus never showed up in them. lasombra things)
despite their frequent arguments, the harvest stayed together, more or less, for over one hundred years. they remained in power despite attempts at usurpage and sabotage, which is honestly kind of impressive for them

there used to be a room in the town center for all of them when they were still working together
the group disbanded after the malkavian was found to be diablerized in her room in the early 60's. no one really knows what happened, or who did it
I'm in love with the headcanon of Cyno being terrified of doctors. He would rather bleed out than go to the Bimarstan, and he will fight if people try to force him. It doesn't matter how injured, or in pain he is; he will adamantly refuse medical care.
They've had to wait until he passed out before helping him (did you know that you can't refuse medical care if you're unconscious?). He's kept sedated the entire time he's in the Bimarstan because he will fight to the point of harming himself. Cyrus is usually the one to press for it because he's seen how deep Cyno's fear runs. He's seen Cyno dehydrated and delirious from fever or infection or poison and still combative about IVs and needles, going into shock from blood loss and fighting with everything he has. Cyno denies painkillers, local anesthetics, and other medication as much as possible. Privately, Cyrus is afraid it's going to kill him one day.
The fact he goes to Tighnari is a miracle. In the past, Cyno would treat himself or show up bloody on Cyrus' doorstep, but Tighnari is medically trained. At first, he doesn't understand why Cyno puts himself at risk to come to Gandharva Ville when the Akademiya has plenty of amazingly trained doctors. Then one day, Cyno gets badly hurt (almost dies), and he ends up in the Bimarstan. Tighnari goes to see him and finds Cyrus sitting at his bedside as Cyno sleeps. Cyrus tells just how afraid Cyno is. It's a level of trust Tighnari doesn't expect, but he stops scolding Cyno for coming to him when he's injured. Tighnari might not be a doctor, but he's better than nothing.

So this is a good introduction to my newest wolf witcher Cyrus! He’s a wood worker and has just about as much luck with relationships as his brother Geralt…
