This isn't about anyone in particular, just a collective of experiences.
Highkey so annoyed by people who are like "Please please please yap with me!! I wanna talk! Im so lonely and want to talk to someone about x idea!" But then when you actually do talk to them they side eye you or talk down to you.. as if you are in the wrong for talking to them. Are you guys being sarcastic when you say this or? What am I not getting? This is a social cue nightmare..
The internet is hard. People say they want to make friends but don't *actually* want to be friends..
Like, I consider my mutals my friends and I don't get this whole culture of saying you want people to talk to and then be upset when they talk to you.
Sometimes the internet feels like a playground, and im back in overalls smiling because someone said they wanted to be friends but when I ask if they want to play, they run away and make fun of me for actually believing they were my friend.
And yes, yes, I know, this sounds like I should just suck it up and move on because "That's how the internet works" but I don't understand *why* it has too work that way.
If you don't actually want to talk and are just going to be rude to the people who talk to you, dont ask for people to talk to you.
Mean girl syndrome is not cute. Never has been. Being mean for no reason is not cute. This isn't high school, you don't have to impress everyone with your bitcheness.
