truth hurts.
If the truth you've been trying to avoid for some time now comes out swinging, take a solid hit. Embrace the pain, taste the bittersweet drop of blood that would drip from your lips. Sport a black eye if it comes to it. No matter how much hurting it may cause you, never ever back down. Remember that you can always pick yourself up if you fall. Know that sometimes, the most painful experiences teach the best lessons. The pain may be excruciating now but know it'll only be temporary. Because soon, you'll get used to it. You'll get numb to the hurting. One day you wouldn’t only be able to take a pummeling; maybe even more. And maybe by then, you'll realize -- you're stronger than the person you were before.

Okay but real talk tho
What the hunter in Bambi and Bambi 2 did would be considered very illegal if it happened today.
First and foremost, he was hunting deer during fucking fawn season. Thats number one rule broken, you can't hunt doe, fawn or pretty much any deer during Rut or when doe are rearing their offspring.
Second, he's hunting with dogs. You can only do that with duck and other fowl (here in Texas, Im not sure about other states) and you cant even track deer with dogs, much less chase them down. I think retrieving is okay, but those dogs were definetly pursuing Bambi's mom.
Third, traps. Thats a bug no-no, especially snares.
That hunter broke a lot of rules, but since this movie was made in 1942, they can let it slide because hunting laws werent really a big deal until the 70's, I think
Overall, Bambi Hunter is the most cruel villain of disney
