Anders Week • Tragic Tuesday • Loss / Guilt
Because I think Anders gives his all to save his patients, going over his own limits even, but sometimes loss does happen and he would feel absolutely guilty despite having tried everything.

Hawke did NOT like Dragon Age: Absolution
This may upset some Qunari fans
Daniela Mestyanek Young (the Knitting Cult Lady's) criteria yet again:
1. Charismatic Leadership (and their skinny white women)
2. Worldview shift that brings you under the sacred assumption
3. The transcendent mission
4. Self-sacrifice of members
5. Limits access to outside world
6. Distinguishable vernacular
7. Us vs them mentality
8. Exploits members' labor
9. High entrance and exit costs
10. Ends justify the means mentality Now, how many does the Qun tick off? 1. Not sure if the Triumvirate counts as this, so I'll leave this one blank for now. Am willing to reconsider upon further information. 2. When you convert to the Qun, your life becomes all about the Qun, so definitely yes. Check.
3. The Qun itself definitely qualifies. Check. 4. The Antaam are expected to lay down their lives in battle for the Qun, so...Check. 5. The only Qunari we ever see in the games are as follows: military members, spies, and ex-Qunari. Safe to say it's check. 6. Their whole language is pretty distinct from the rest of Thedas, but because it's a full language and not just jargon, I'll go with no. 7. They literally refer to everyone who is not part of their religion as "bas". A.k.a. a "thing". The closest concept they have to the idea of tolerating other people is "basalit-an", which means "worthy foe". Check.
8. Those who do not convert willingly are made into mindless slaves via qamek. Check. 9. Leaving gets you branded as Tal-Vashoth, and the Qunari army does not view those kindly. Joining the Qun, from what we can tell, means leaving your previous life entirely behind. Check. 10. The use of qamek to brainwash slaves alone puts this at check.
8/10. Roughly the same spot as the Antivan Crows. Not enough to full classify as a cult...yet.
dragon age origins lives rent-free in my heart and occasionally updates my eyes with HD water effects
