I hate twisted media. They can manipulate people so easily with their click bait headlines and undertones. This whole mess about gifts, method acting etc is 100% on media and lame journalists who only care about clicks. If not for their "shocking" articles no one would get so worked up about it and start blindly hate an actor for nothing. In addition SS PR team made a scapegoat out of Jared and I hate it even more.

i couldn't have said it better myself. i completely understand that the gifts topic was a great way of promoting the film, creating buzz, but come on even jared himself got sick of it and had to mention what most of us knew, that it was exaggerated for press purposes. what bothers me the most is a fellow actor, sharing an article which is basically only bashing on his acting. as if jared’s commitment to the role was a mere promoting stunt, like what the hell? she’s in the business, she should know how media works. this is honestly getting so ridiculous at this point.
