husband!bakugo experiences one moment of what you deal with everyday with your kids.
you were currently cuddled into katsuki's chest, fast asleep.
in between taking care of your newborn son and your toddler daughter, he knew you were exhausted out of your mind. he already had to return to hero work since he took a month off for your last few weeks pregnant, but he wasn't home all day besides the weekends. like today.
speaking her into existence, his toddler daughter slowly waddled over to your side of the bed, about to pat you on the back and awaken you.
"tsk. hey, no." he whispered, making her pout. "i wanna play." she said, crossing her arms. she rubbed her eyes, obviously still a bit sleepy herself.
"mommy is sleeping, she can't play it's bedtime. go back to bed." he said, hoping to every single deity that'd hear him that she wouldn't start crying.
she pouted even more now, before stomping her feet over to his side of the bed and pulling on him. "nooo, i dont wanna sleep!" she said, her voice getting loud.
"don't yell at me missy, use your inside voice." he rolled his eyes, paying attention to your body that seemed to always be on high alert stirring slightly. he soothed you back to sleep, before untangling himself from you and sitting on the corner of your shared bed, now face to face with your daughter.
"we're going to your room and you're going to sleep, unless you want to be put in time out." her eyes widened, her crossed arms dropping as she decided to start negotiating.
"two bedtime stories, go fish, and uno."
"one bedtime story, one go fish game, and i won't tell your mom this happened."
"and pancakes for breakfast." she ordered.
she nodded to herself, seeming happy with the arrangement. she grabbed onto his sweatpants, trying to pull him off to her room already.
"i'm going, im going."
he was heading out, until he heard the whines of his son start sounding out from the baby monitor, making both him and his daughter freeze.
she tugged on his pants, "the baby's crying."
he sighed. "i know." he was squinting his eyes in the dark environment trying to see if you had woken up. after he saw no movement, he ran to go get your son.
he picked him up in his arm and then followed his daughter to her room across the hallway. he proceeded to play go fish one handed, occasionally asking his son, who was drinking a bottle of formula, for 'help', which made his daughter say "you're cheating!"
he read them 'goldilocks and the three bears', which he kept having to reread pages because he 'wasn't doing the voices good enough' in his daughter's opinion.
his voice, still husky because he was half-asleep, soothed his son to sleep in his arms, and his daughter back to sleep.
he layed his son down in the cot in your shared room, too lazy to go back to the nursery.
like puzzle pieces, you fit back into one another, your head back in his chest and his laid on top of yours. he was glad you got to sleep the entire time, even though he knew you had woken up because of your daughter's loud nature, you managed to go back to sleep.
a win was a win, he thought as he went back to sleep.
and woke up with his daughter hugging your back, sticking her toungue out at him when he asked why she was even there again. making you laugh when you woke up to his scrunched up face of annoyance.
as he made the chocolate chip pancakes, your daughter clung to your side as your son laid in your chest, he thought about how having kids was one of the best decisions he'd ever made.
"hurry up and give me more! you always give mommy the better pancakes!"

a/n: this came to me during a car ride today idk i def wanna elaborate on this plot aaaaa
katsuki had always loved music.
many of his earliest memories revolved around music. when he wasn't training to become a hero, he was learning to play the drums. even then, while he'd train, he'd have his headphones on, blasting whatever metal band he was into that week.
even now, as an adult, he continued his love for music. each morning, when he'd hit the gym, he'd have his playlist blasting. on his days off, he'd still play music with his friends from UA that had played with him in the school festival. it seemed to follow him everywhere.
that was one of the things he had been most excited about when he became a dad. before his daughter was born, he'd spent hours curating playlists of songs and artists he'd want to show her one day. it was, admittedly, what he looked forward to the most.
when katsuki found out his daughter was deaf shortly after she was born, he was devastated.
he'd known it was a possibility- he'd been wearing hearing aids since he was in middle school. but it was something he'd feared, something he'd forced to the back of his mind.
yeah, it's a possibility... but no way, right? he'd told himself. over, and over, and over again.
but now, it was a reality. his daughter was deaf.
as heartbroken as he was by the news, though, he loved his daughter more than anything. despite her getting a cochlear implant when she was eleven months old, katsuki taught her sign language and encouraged her to sign along with teaching her to speak.
though she couldn't enjoy music the same was as he did, katsuki found that she loved feeling the vibrations and the bass.
he'd start playing a song on his small speaker, sitting on the floor with her and watching as her little arms flailed in excitement and her toothy grin spread on her face.
"you like the song?" he'd ask, signing along with his words to assist with her ability to lip-read.
she'd shake her tiny fist yes before crawling towards him, babbling incoherently a string of words she couldn't hear herself saying.
katsuki would just chuckle. 'are you trying to talk to daddy?' he'd sign, exaggerating his facial expressions as his hands moved with practiced ease.
he'd pull over a picture book with the alphabet.
'm-u-s-i-c.' he'd finger sign, pointing to the letters in the book with his other hand. 's-o-n-g. you like when i play songs?'
his daughter would giggle in response. katsuki would tap her shoulder gently.
"can you say song?" he spoke slowly, signing the words as he spoke. "can you talk to daddy? say song, kiddo."
"sah!" she'd babble. katsuki would just smile. pulling her into his lap, he'd pepper her small face with kisses.
'good job!' he signed, 'very good job.'
by the time she turned five, she was practically fluent in verbal speech thanks to her cochlear implant. she didn't always wear it- katsuki knew not to force it if she didn't want to- but she was able to talk to him, and even read his lips.
he'd be filling out paperwork in his office after a long day of hero patrols, and he'd hear the little pitter patter of her feet coming down the hallway. he'd chuckle to himself, waiting for the door to inevitably crack open, for her to peer inside.
"daddy?"
he'd smile at her, beckoning her closer with a finger wave. she'd pad to the edge of his desk, and fidget with her fingers a little.
"whaddya need, kiddo?" he'd ask. if she hadn't read his lips, he'd sign, 'you need something?'
"i wanna play music, daddy." she'd say. her little fingers would sign the words as she spoke, and he'd get the biggest grin on his face at the thought that she wanted to spend time with him. that, despite being unable to "hear" the music in the same way he could, she wanted him to show her something new.
"alright," he'd reply, ushering her out of the office and down the hall to his room. "c'mon."
he'd hoist her up onto his bed, sitting across from her. he'd connect his phone to his speaker, and each time she'd ask for music, he'd show her something new. he'd watch as her face lit up when she felt the vibrations, how her hands would touch the speaker to feel them more prominently.
'you like it?' he'd sign.
'yeah!' she'd sign back enthusiastically. eventually, every time, their music sessions ended with her on his lap, snuggled up against him as she felt the vibrations of the songs and the vibrations of his voice. she didn't need to hear the music or hear his voice to feel comforted- and that was all that mattered.
that, despite his initial fears, he wouldn't have it any other way. that he could still share his love for music with his daughter, that she could enjoy it in her own way.
and when she eventually asked him to teach her to play the drums?
he knew right then and there that his dreams had come true.

I've been imagining this with katsuki and i haven't stopped crying so yall gotta go through this too
reader and kat are divorced but have the same circle of friends, they had a happy loving marriage for years but when they started to try for a baby they discovered reader can't. the marriage falls apart not because of that but it was kind of a starting point for reader's depression and other shit started piling on and it was just very difficult for both of them. anyway a couple years later reader overhears from friends that kat was apparently getting engaged, she never fell out of love with him so she was deeply hurting but kept everything in. a year or two later she sees a news article congratulating dynamight, and the photos of him holding a little babygirl in his arms and that beautiful smile of his beaming.

Thinking about prohero!bakugo as your husband while in a hard labor.
Femblk!reader in mind!! Not proofread, mentions of childbirth.
.˚₊‧ ── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ── ‧₊˚.
An at home water birth she’s been sitting in the tub for 2 hours her contractions getting worse as she held on to the sides of the tub. Nobody has been able to get ahold of her husband. She was terrified that she was about to deliver her first child by herself . She was in so much pain, she couldn’t do it by herself . Not that she was by herself, she had her parents and his with her right now, and het best friend ochaco. They were with her but he wasn’t.
He promised, by not taking time off of work he would be there in a heartbeat as soon as she went into labor with their son.
“I cant do it, mama I cant do it.”She sobbed, her hand holding her mothers as she pushed her curls back.
“I know baby you’re so close, your baby Boys gonna be here soon.” Her mother spoke kissing the side of her head.
She was right but she could tell she was trying to distract her for the fact her husband wasn’t here with her.
It felt as if forever had passed, the sound of the front door opening in a hurry and the sight of her husband. He was beat up a bit sweaty, “I’m sorry, oh baby, I’m sorry.” He spoke taking his heavy gear off real fast, walking over to her quickly.
His hands grabbed her face as she let out another sob, “I didn’t think you were gonna be here..”
His face softened as his brows frowned “I know love, I’m right here I’m sorry it took me so long. I’m so fucking sorry.” He apologized profusely, his lips meeting yours.
She was finally fully dilated, but even after multiple painful pushes she couldn’t. She felt as if all her strength was gone, not to mention she has started bleeding. “I cant do it, suki— I cant.” She cried her hands squeezing his wrist as he held her face.
“Yes you can, common baby, im right here.” He spoke.
He was with her. That’s all that truly mattered, he wouldn’t ever leave her alone. One more that’s all she had in her, so she did.
Her baby wasn’t even crowning yet. The feeling of her body losing strength scared katsuki as her grip on his wrist lessened. “Hey! Hey common baby, you’ve got this.” He spoke picking up her face, her melanin features covered in sweat and tears.
She shook her head weakly. He stood up quickly kicking off his boots, taking his phone and ear piece out of his pockets. He moved quickly to behind her, stepping into the tub submerging himself in the water. His hands grabed her softly her back falling against his chest, the nurse helping position.
Katsuki wrapped his arms around her right above her engorged belly that that held the life they created together. He held her so securely, he could care less of what bodily fluids that were in the water. All he cared about was her. He couldn’t bare the pain she was in it killed him how she called out his name, saying she couldn’t do it. He couldn’t imagine the pain she was in. He did this to her.
“Mr. Bakugo I need you to help her she has to continue to push or your baby could get stuck.” The nurse spoke.
He nodded his hand resting on her sweaty forehead “you got this baby, just a bit more mama.” He whispered. He could feel her nod.
In this moment so many things ran through his mind, how people always doubted his love for her. How could they, he was right there with her always even during school. ‘Do you love her.’ He was asked by the media constantly.
Yes, yes he loved her, with ever atom and cell in his body, and a million times over. She was his Sun, the brightness that he looked forward to, and his Sun was bleeding and screaming in pain and all he could do was hold her. She did nothing buts show him her love and friendship she made him smile more in the past 5 years they’ve been together, than he ever did before that. She was having his baby, he loved her, and he would soon share his heart with another, their son. But now all he could do was hold her.
But to her that was more that enough, his encouraging words. That’s all she needed, “I can see his head! Common one more big push!” The nurse said.
One more.
One more, there he was. There was no crying, and she couldn’t open her eyes but a few firm past on the back there they were, your sons high pitched cry’s. Her and Katsuki let out a heavy sigh of relief hers being more of a sob.
The nurse places the slimey baby on her chest. But it soon want just Her and the baby crying, the shutters of katsukis body she could feel them as he cried into her shoulder.
“You did it. Fuck baby you did it.” He cried softly holding her and the baby.
summary: your father is the number one hero, and you’re his quirkless child. you want to be a powerful hero like him one day, but it’s simply impossible if you don’t have a power… right?

Being a single father was hard on Katsuki, but he’d be damned if he couldn’t give his little girl the best life he could. Being a single father was hard on Katsuki, but he’d be damned if he couldn’t give his little girl the best life he could.
He could proudly say his daughter was the best thing to ever happen to him. That you were the best thing to ever happen to him.
He was there for all your accomplishments, big or small. He was always so proud of you — from the moment you took your first steps and every minute after. Even when he found out you were Quirkless, his mind never changed.
You were still his pride and joy. His entire world. But to you… it was like your whole world fell apart right in front of you.
Like your father, you always admired heroes. You wanted to be the strongest, the best of the best — and Katsuki saw a glimpse of himself whenever you talked about everything hero-related. It changed when you got a little older, though. Suddenly it was like your passion had completely vanished.
You stopped talking about heroes, and it even led to you ignoring him when you came home from school at the end of each day. Of course, this new behavior wasn’t unseen by the Pro. He’d have to get his eyes checked if he didn’t see it.
At first he assumed it was simple teenage rebellion. You were fourteen, after all. But then he saw how distant you were becoming. You were spending more time in your room, even eating your meals in there.
It’s not like Katsuki could do anything about it most nights. He’d been working a lot of late nights at his agency, so he wasn’t always home to stop you from your antics. And if he was home, sitting silently across the table from you, he couldn’t find the right words to say.
He didn’t know how to reach out to you, mostly because you never gave him anything to work with. Even if you did, he still wouldn’t know what to say. All he knew was that he wanted to help you, but couldn’t.
…
Days off had become rare for Katsuki, but today he was home free, waiting for you to return from another long day of school.
Relaxed on the couch, he let out a heavy sigh, turning off his phone. He wasn’t getting anything done aimlessly scrolling through news feeds. Except maybe indirectly catching up with old friends.
However, his mind was cleared of all that when he heard the front door unlock, causing him to turn his head expectantly.
He was thinking of getting take out tonight instead of cooking like he usually did, and he wanted his junior’s input on what they should get.
When the door finally opened and you stepped inside, you slipped off your shoes and walked right by him. Katsuki deadpanned at being treated like he was invisible. Much less by his own daughter.
He’s Great Explosion Murder God: Dynamight, for crying out loud!
”Hey— get back here, kiddo.” Katsuki said, getting up and stopping you before disappeared down the hallway for the rest of the evening. Placing both hands on either of his hips, he sighed. “It’s my day off and you won’t even say hi to me?”
You only mutter something under your breath, causing Katsuki to roll his eyes. Before he can ask what you were trying to say, he notices one of your backpack straps in ripped, loose threads coming out in every direction.
"What happened to your bag? That's the second one this month. If you're not careful with your crap then I'll start sending you to school without a backpack."
"Fine, whatever! I don't care, just leave me alone!"
The sudden outburst came out louder than you wanted. You didn't mean to raise your voice. You were always careful and quiet, knowing that your father wore hearing aids around the house.
You slap a hand over your mouth as your eyes widen. You're quick to slip past him and run down the hall before slamming the door shut as soon as you enter your room.
You don’t want to talk to your dad about this. It’s none of his business anyway. What happens at school, stays at school. How would you even bring up the fact that you were getting bullied for being Quirkless? It was stupid, and you figured it would pass eventually. That the kids at school would get bored of you and move on.
That was your mindset for the last year.
Just keep your head down and it would all pass by, just like things always did. Either way, you’d still need to have a good excuse for why your backpack was messed up. You knew not just anything flew by your father so easily. After all, he wasn’t the number-one hero for nothing.
With your bag thrown on the ground, you throw yourself onto your bed, just wanting to relax and get your mind off things. You weren’t going to cry. You’re tough, and that means you can’t cry over every little thing that happens. At least… that’s what you were thinking as you felt a tear rolling down your cheek.
With every year that passed, Quirklessness was becoming even more uncommon — and both your parents had Quirks. So why not you? Why did you have to be the odd one out?
Why did you have to be born so weak?
You shoved your face into your covers as simple tears became full on sobs. You hated it. Hated the feeling of being so useless, and feeling like you didn’t belong. And maybe you didn’t. Maybe you didn’t deserve to be born with a power. It’s why the universe cursed you to be a powerless nobody who just happened to be the number-one Pro’s daughter.
You couldn’t be a hero. It was impossible for someone like you to be one. And every time the thought crossed your mind, you felt like you were letting down your father. Letting down the person you aspired to be like.
Before you were supposed to gain a Quirk, you remembered how you would talk to your dad about all the amazing things you would do once you had your ability. Your dad was your biggest cheerleader, so it felt like you wasted all that time when you ended up without any special powers.
Your comforter was soaked with your tears, your eyes burning the more you cried. It wasn’t fair. It’s not fair. Nothing is fair.
…
You didn’t notice your bedroom door opening as you wallowed in your own self-pity. It wasn’t until you felt a dip at the side of your bed that you felt your father’s presence beside you. He didn’t say anything as he cautiously stroked your hair in a comforting manner, untamed and wild just like his own.
You didn’t have it in you to care that he was here, watching you pour out all your pent up feelings of frustration in the form of hot tears, burning your eyes as you hiccuped and swallowed down whatever you were going to say. Because in truth, there was so much you wanted to tell the man beside you.
But you weren’t sure how to. Verbally expressing yourself has never been one of your strong suits. Whenever you felt angry and upset, you distanced yourself until you felt better.
“Did something happen at school?” Katsuki’s voice was uncharacteristically soft when he spoke, bringing his hand down to your back as he rubbed soothing circles to calm you down.
He could clearly see you were hurting. It hurt him to see it. If there was something going on that you weren’t talking about, he wanted to know. But he quickly figured that raising his voice and demanding that you tell him wouldn’t work. He wouldn’t dream of raising his voice at you.
”I… I want to be a hero.” You manage through your choked out sobs. “I want to be strong. Strong like you, but I— I’m not—“ You cut yourself short as you cried harder. You felt so pathetic, not even capable of talking about it. “I don’t know,” Is what comes out.
Katsuki frowns, ignoring the wetness forming in the corner of his eyes. He wasn’t a crier himself, but you were his daughter. His baby girl. A loving, gentle, kind-hearted but hot-tempered girl who wholeheartedly believes she isn’t good enough. And maybe it’s his fault for not trying harder to reach out and showing you that you do matter.
That you were still special — Quirk or none.
“You don’t have to talk to me now, I… I can wait.” the blond says, hand now still on your back. The jacket you have on is his hero merch. It’s nice to see that you still know who the coolest hero is. “But I am still here when you decide to. I know I’m not always home, but I would drop everything if you wanted to talk, alright?”
Lifting your head slightly to wipe your eyes, you swallow your feelings for a moment to speak. You feel like you’ll burst into tears at anything right now, but you try your best to ignore the feeling bubbling up inside you.
“Even though I don’t have a Quirk… do you think I can still be a hero?” you ask, keeping your voice low. You didn’t want to accidentally snap again and get in trouble if you weren’t already.
There’s a painful twist in Katsuki’s chest, he’s seen this before. Though they’d gotten past it long ago, he can’t help but be reminded of Dek— Izuku. Even though he’d been forgiven, he still felt guilty about how he treated him in their adolescence.
Seeing that same sight in his daughter hurt his heart. He held back the tears he knew were in his eyes, and sighed.
”It’s hard to be a hero without a Quirk, sweetheart. But having powers isn’t what makes someone a true hero.” Katsuki says, making you curious, as well as confused. You wondered what he meant by that, and you looked up.
”Huh? What do you mean?”
Katsuki’s words catch in his throat, trying to find the best way to go about this. How should he approach it? Delicate situations were admittedly hard for him to handle. He knows that. But still, he has to at least try.
He’s supposed to be the best, isn’t he? That means he’s also supposed to be the best at being a father. After a long minute, he shifts so he’s more comfortable on the bed.
“Having strength… it doesn’t equal being a good hero. Not all the time.” He starts out, trying not to mess this up. “It’s good to be strong, sure, but being a hero… it’s what’s in your heart that matters. You’re a good person— you like to help people and expect nothing in return, right? Like helping people, and holding doors for geezers and all that crap,”
You roll your eyes. That’s just basic decency. You don’t understand where your dad is trying to go with all this, but you try to be patient and hear him out.
”Helping people and having a good heart is an important part of being hero. You’re a kid with big feelings and a big heart. So you know what I think?” he asks.
You shake your head. ”What?”
”I think that even without a stupid Quirk, you’re already a kick-ass hero. And I don’t wanna hear you say otherwise, okay?” he says, reaching out to ruffle your hair. “You’re my goddamn daughter, you were born with greatness in your blood. Those punks at school are gonna have hell rain down on them and their parents if they even think about talking you down. Don’t be afraid to put those idiots in their place,”
You look away from your dad again, but you feel a bit better now. Even if this is just the start, you’re grateful for your dad— even if you were a bit of an ass towards him. “Dad…” you groan, knocking his hand off your head. “Stop it,” Katsuki laughs a bit and sighs.
“You’re tough as nails, with or without a power. And I love you just the same, understand? You’re the best damn kid in the world, I mean that. Even though you’re always so damn moody—“
”Dad!” You complain again, puffing your cheeks as they burned red with embarrassment.
HIIII so this is my first fanfic sooooo please don't be mean! Feel free to ask for anything you'd want me to write!
Bakugo spent the morning cleaning every surface he could find in hopes to distract himself from thinking about his daughter, who was now with her mother for the weekend.
His heart had already been breaking as he told her he wasn't allowed to visit at all this weekend. It shattered, though, when her big, violet eyes became glassy and she clutched onto him, whispering how she doesn't want to go.
When that didn't work, he shook his head and called his friends over. Kaminari was currently with his boyfriend and his kid, so he wouldn't be able to come, but the rest were free, so they came over.
- "Bro, you have to calm down," Kirishima said, rubbing his back as the two sat on the couch. Sero sat at his other side and Ashido sat on the recliner beside the couch.
-"I don't fucking trust her," he glared up at the redhead, who nodded solemly. "And i can't check on my brat for the next three fucking days-"
He was cut off when his phone started ringing. His heart stopped as he checked it, but he sighed when he saw it was only Kaminari. Maybe he's on his way over or something.
Mina answered anyways and put it on speakerphone. "Hey! Are you on your way over?" She asked, trying to force some cheerfulness into her tone.
-"Get Katsuki to the fucking hospital," they heard Shinso's tired voice a bit more alert as he spoke, making them all sit up and look at the phone nervously.
-"Is it Lia?" Sero asked, wincing as he heard screeching tires and Shinso cussing Kaminari out while Raiden cried in the background. Kaminari must be driving then
-"Denks got a call from her about twenty minutes ago saying her throat felt funny. Just got to the hospital get your asses over here," At that, Katsuki was on his feet and the rest followed, running after the blond, whose chest was already shifting into a red color out of anger.
><_><_><_><
-"The hell happened, Spark plug," Katsuki growled as soon as he reached the hospital, where only Kaminari was pacing back and forth. Mina and Sero went to sign them in and ask about their niece.
-"H-Hey," sparks of electricity buzzed near his head as he met Katsuki's stare. "Lia said she was hungry and found a muffin like the ones you get her." He reached into his pocket and cringed as he pulled out the loud packaging. "She didn't say much else before she passed out and I brought her here." He held out the crumpled packaging toward Katsuki, who froze.
-"Are Shinso and Raiden okay?" Kirishima asked quietly, watching out of the corner of his eye as the red eyed blond shook and his piercing eyes burned.
-"Y-yeah Toshi went home with Rai a few minutes ago. T-they haven't let me in to see Lia because im not blood related and apparently you're the only one set as an emergency contact since you're also Katsuki's, " he rambled, raking a hand through his hair.
With that, they watched as the ticking time bomb stormed over to one of the nurses and demanded to know about his daughter. While one of them went to get a report on the child, he barked at the other nurse that he needed to update the emergency contacts.
><_><_><_
When Katsuki finally saw her, Lia's eyes were opened and she was asking the nurse for her daddy.
The other nurse came in with him and Kaminari and her little face lit up when she saw them, immediately reaching for them and trying to sit up, but the nurse pushed her back down.
The nurse that brought them there grabbed the other by the arm and had to drag her away as her eyes roamed over the two men in front of her hungrily. Once they had left, Katsuki sat on the bed beside his daughter and let her crawl into his arms, carefully helping her so the wires weren't disturbed.
-"Daddy," she mumbled, nuzzling her face into his chest.
-"Hi firecracker, " he responded, rubbing her back gently. His other hand flexed as he held back from clutching the girl as tight as he could and never letting her out of sight again.
She turned her head and smiled up at her uncle with big, glowing eyes. "My throat not icky anymore uncle Nari!" She chirped, making their hearts melt.
-" You're feeling better, baby?" He ruffled his niece's hair gently as she nodded and turned back to her dad eith a pout.
-"Daddy i no wanna go back," she said, her tiny fists tightening on his shirt. "Mama mean."
-" Don't worry baby your daddy wont let that mean woman anywhere near you again, okay?" She nodded and nuzzled back into her father's chest with a yawn.
It took only seconds for her to fall back asleep.
Katsuki looked up at one of his best friends and gripped his arm with his free hand. "Thank you, Denki," he said. The other blond's eyes glistened with tears as he smiled softly.
-" Don't worry about it man. You know I love Lia as if she were my own."
><_><_><_><
The doctor wanted Lia to stay until morning just in case the allergy flares up again, so the stayed until visiting time was over. It was only when they were all saying goodbye that a police officer showed up in the room and tried to arrest Kaminari and Katsuki, who had been laying with his child curled up on his chest and watching Voltron from his phone.
Sero and Kirishima immediately stood in front of the officer and led him outside to discuss the situation while the rest exchanged glances.
-"Raccoon eyes, stay with Lia. Tell Soy Sauce and Shitty Hair to stay as well until we sort this all out," Katsuki told the female as the voices in the hall grew louder and he knew the two were likely to end up on the same ship. He looked down at his daughter, who was watching the door with wide, terrified eyes. His eyes hardened and he looked back up at his friend, who was about to open the door. "I don't care what they say, you are not letting that bitch see my brat until we finish sorting this shit out. Call Butterfly bastard to stay with Kalon or something but-"
-"I know, Kat. Just do what you gotta do," the pink girl grimaced and met the other blond's eyes.
-"Remember what i promised you firecracker?" He whispered, sitting up, but Lia clung tighter to his chest. "I'll always come back to keep you safe, remember?" He kissed her temple and leaned his forehead on hers, whispering an I love you before turning to his friend.
Lia's eyes widened and tears streamed down her face as she kicked and squirmed, trying to get away from her aunt's hold. She screamed and cried for her daddy to come back desperately as she fought with all her strength, but Katsuki just grabbed Kaminari's arm and left the room.

Kaminari and Katsuki were told they would be staying in a cell until morning for their trial and neither of them said anything.
That is, until they got to their cell. Kaminari sat against a wall and sighed while Katsuki sat on the ground and his eyes finally let the tears flow.
So i was watching a video where two parents fought over custody and the court assigns the mom to have the weekends. Then she goes off to a party, leaving the child alone and she gets hurt and he gets sent to jail for breach of custody contract and yeah.........that was basically the inspiration for this.
Why? I have no clue but protective daddy Bakugo is circling around in my brain. When i should probably be studying for my finals.
