I like to think all Bakubabies start out tiny, not low birth weight but not fat little cherubs either. They are small enough to be carried in one arm.
"These are all your genes." Katsuki snorts, cradling your daughter in his arms, little babe so tiny that his forearm looks bigger than the swaddled baby.
He chuckles when you try to reach for the tissues box beside your bed, "At least I didn't have to push out a ginormous Bakugou head." A playful glare is tossed your way.
"Excuse me, I had a perfectly normal sized head." He huffs, adjusting the buddle in his arms, making sure the blanket isn't covering her face.
"Tell that to your mother," You mumbled, exhaustion settling into your bones, it's been 2 days, since you welcomed your precious little daughter, despite you claiming to be alright, Bakugou still wouldn't let others visit."Speaking of her, when is she going to visit."
He snorts, "She would have torn the door down during labour, but I told her to give you few days," His words are intrupted by the soft sniffles of your daughter, she whines, face scrunching up as she shifts in her swaddle, before he can soothe her, you reach out.
"I think she is hungry, didn't feed her since morning." Before you could sit up, he is already beside you.
"Let me help, ma." He grunts as he moves, the old man comment is on the tip of your tongue, but it's forgotten as your eyes rake over him, shirt unbuttoned, your daughter pressed against his bare chest, you hope he didn't notice your oogling. "Oi! Focus on the task." He huffed, unable to hide his smirk.
"Can't even admire the view anymore." You sighed loudly, pulling the neckline of your hospital gown low, the baby is warm in your arms, Bakugou cradled the back of her head, helping her latch.
Few drops of milk painted her plump cheeks, before she finally latches, Bakugou grabbed a wipe, cleaning her face, snorting as she groaned, giving him a tiny stink eye.
"She gets that attitude from you." You announced, chuckling as Bakugou gave you the exact same side eye, pulling a chair to sit beside you.
Katsuki was absolutely heartbroken after finding out his little girl was having trouble socialising and making friends at school. He was mad at himself for not figuring it out sooner, but there were barely any signs. She was so excited to start school, skipping around in her lil uniform the night prior, trying on her school bag for the millionth time and asking him to help her put charms and keychains on it.
She was happy when he picked her up from school on her first day. In week two, she asked him to pack her extra lunch to share with her friends, but the lunch came home with only her portion finished. She told him her friends weren't hungry, and he brushed it off, not knowing there were no friends.
In week three, she asked him to buy her a DIY bracelet kit, and he got it for her, thinking she wanted to give them to her classmates, but he had no idea it was a desperate friendship offering from her side.
In week four, she wasn't excited to go to school anymore. She stopped packing her bag, pouted when he woke her up, and then one day, he found all the friendship bracelets she spent hours making inside her pencil case. That's when he caught on—his little girl was lonely.
That day, he decided to pick her up earlier than usual to surprise her. He stood by the window outside the playroom, searching for a spiky little head amongst the group of kids, but then his eyes fell on a girl sitting at the table, aggressively colouring pages. The sight made his heartstrings snap in two. His baby girl, so excited to make friends at school, dancing around his legs with stars in her eyes, was sitting all alone, only looking up when the teacher checked on her.
Katsuki never had trouble making friends at her age. He was a magnet that attracted the other kids, and so he was always surrounded by people, bathing in their attention and praise, but his girl was not the same. She wasn't boastful and overflowing with pride like he was, and he thanked God she didn't turn out like him, but took after her mom instead. However, she did not deserve this. She deserved to be in that circle of kids, laughing and playing with them.
He didn't realise he had tears in his eyes until the classroom door opened. It was the teacher. He blinked twice and swallowed thickly, glaring at the woman, "Why is my daughter sitting alone in a corner?"
"Well..." The teacher looked at her through the window. "The other kids avoid her. I've tried including her with them several times, but they end up moving away from her."
"Isn't it your job to make sure that doesn't happen?" His jaw tightened as he tried not to lash out. "It sucks seein' her sittin' there left out like that when she stayed up way past her bedtime just to make the class friendship bracelets. She was so excited to start school, and now she doesn't even want to hear that word."
"She made the class friendship bracelets?" She asked, surprised. "But she never gave out any."
Katsuki sighed and looked at his daughter again. How was it that she was a carbon copy of him, yet her behaviour was the complete opposite? "Why do the kids avoid her?"
"Uhm-" The teacher looked at him awkwardly, making him raise an eyebrow. "It's you."
"The hell did I do?!"
"Nothing, Mr Bakugo, it's just that the kids see you on television and assume your daughter is the same. I suppose she intimidates them."
His little butterfly. Intimidating? What a joke.
He clicked his tongue and walked past the teacher, entering the classroom. As soon as his presence was noted, the laughter and giggles died down until one of the kids yelled his name, and they all started assembling around him. But his eyes remained on his daughter. She was smiling now, grinning ear to ear as she shoved her crayons in her bag.
"Papa!" She ran up to him, hugging his leg.
"Hello, princess." He knelt and kissed her hair, glancing at the children staring at him wide-eyed. He looked at his daughter again, pretending he was unaware of the bracelets he'd seen in her pencil case, "Did you give your classmates the friendship bracelets you made?"
"You made us friendship bracelets?!" A girl screeched excitedly, and his daughter hid behind his arm, nodding.
"Hey, I wanna see!"
"That's so cool, where are they?!"
She looked up at him with twinkling eyes, and he smiled at her. She took off her backpack and pulled out her pencil case. She emptied it on the play table and watched her classmates pick their bracelets, clutching her skirt shyly as her peers thanked her.
Katsuki stood there proudly, watching her exchange bracelets with one of the girls. He patiently waited for the two to finish talking before it was time to wave goodbye. She could barely walk straight as he held her hand on their way to the car.
"Guess what, Papa? I made a new friend! Her name is Maya!" She exclaimed, showing him her wrist with the new bracelet as if he hadn't been watching.
"Yes, I saw. That's good." He pinched her cheek and helped her into the backseat, fastening her seat belt. He kept checking her in the rearview mirror the entire ride home. The stars in her eyes were back again, and he could finally sleep easily knowing his little girl would be fine.
Ahhhh shirtless Katsuki holding your daughter that is still in her jammies? Messy hair and yawning but holding your daughter on his hip, flipping heart shaped pancakes he’s made her from scratch.
You woke from a cold sweat, worried about your baby, and rushing to the kitchen because you heard her giggling and pots and pans banging.
“Sup mama,” Katsuki shoots you a grin, with Mai squirming in his arms in excitement.
“Hi?” You’re confused seeing Katsuki taking on the role of making breakfast. You watch from the counter, crossing your arms and just staring.
“Ba!” Mai exclaimed and Katsuki nodded along, “patience baby girl, I don’t wanna burn them.”
You can’t stop from smiling, seeing the man being so soft and encouraging your child to continue “talking.”
“Mama! Ah?” Mai points to you, drool trailing down her chin— you move to clean it but Katsuki beats you to it.
“I’m making some for mama, don’t worry.” Katsuki kisses Mai on her forehead.
Baby fever and Bakugou brain rot for me so here some baby Bakugou headcanons.
Bakugou’s first baby having your hair texture and your eye colour but Bakugou’s hair colour and eye shape. The second baby having his hair texture, eye shape and colour while having your hair colour.
First first baby - his daughter- is his angle, even if her favourite hero is Todoroki to the point she doesn’t like expressing her emotions just like Todoroki. She has his power though.
His second baby though is him just with a mix between your quirk and his. This child is a gremlin, stealing food and bullying their young siblings.
The third baby on the other hand has Bakugou’s dad’s hair colour, your hair texture and your eye shape and eye colour. Bakugou knows it’s his baby but the comments he gets about his third baby makes angry as hell.
This baby is the most non-Bakugou baby out of all of them. More quite, well mannered, probably the tallest too. If anything he acts like Deku, but his favourite hero is dad. If you are pro angst then this baby causes Bakugou to accuse you of cheating on him with Deku. Extra points if he is Quirkless.
IF NO ANGST he loves his babies so so much. Loves them to the moon and back. Will refuse the media to see his babies if he can help it.
I do love the idea for his youngest though, Bakugou thinks he likes Deku so will buy him Deku stuff and try to get Deku to meet him. Little angel doesn’t understand because he really does love his dad over every other hero.
I am very much thinking about pro-hero Dynamight as a dad.
He loves his 4 year old son with all his heart, truly he does. But god, does the kid talk. And to make matters worse, he thinks his dad is the coolest person in the world which means he’s always glued to his side.
It doesn’t matter what your husband does, his little doppelgänger is right there, asking a thousand questions or demanding his father watch whatever ‘cool thing’ he was doing.
Your husband was a patient man, but even he had his limits.
It’s how you wind up coming home to your toddler pinned underneath your husbands thick thigh on the couch, his little arms crossed over his chest as he glances at you with a pout that is all Katsuki.
Your husband just glances up at you from his laptop, reading glasses sliding down his nose. He just shrugs at your quizzical look and offers up a simple explanation: “brat wouldn’t stop attacking me.”
“Baby, you can’t just apprehend our son every time he harasses you,” you laugh, bending down to rescue your toddler from his father’s hold.
Summary: You we’re waiting for Katsuki to come home from a mission, only for the news to make you think he wasn’t coming home. You daughter also seems to think her dad wasn’t coming home.
Genre: Angst,fluff
Warnings: Bakugou being slightly injured

“Come on bubs, it’s time for bed.” You picked up your daughter who was sitting on the couch watching a movie, it was her bedtime and you were getting her ready for bed. You walked upstairs passing every picture of you and Katsuki from your wedding to when you had your daughter. You softly placed her in her bed and tucked her in , you sat down on the bed rubbing her head. “Mommy?” You small voice appeared, she had a frown on her face making you worry. “What’s wrong Kayo?” You saw tears forming in her eyes and her lip began to tremble, “I-is daddy okay?” You we’re confused at first but then remembered the news on the TV showing where Katsuki was on his mission. It was terrible. Every building was on fire, people running and screaming, you didn’t know where or what your husband was doing. “Oh, baby I’m sure Daddy is just fine. I miss him too love, but you know what Daddy always tells me?” She looked up at you, “He tells that he always comes home to us no matter what.” You wiped Kayo’s eyes as she hiccuped “B-but what if he doesn’t?” The room went silent as you tried to find the right words to explain to your 4 year old. “We just have to think positive baby, okay?” She softly nodded making you smile, you leaned down and pecked her cheek before turning off the lights. “I love you Kayo.” “Love you mommy.” You softly closed the door as you sighed, you went downstairs to watch the news and see if there was updates about your husband. You felt your heart sank as you saw enormous yellow-Orange flames take over the city, the reporter went on about how many people are either dead or injured. They then mentioned Katsuki’s hero name and saying he isn’t looking too well. That made you panic as your mind started to ask so many questions. Is Katsuki dead? Is he injured? What if he isn’t coming back home? You kept telling yourself that Katsuki was just fine, but you didn’t feel positive about it. You started to pace around the kitchen as you bit on your nails in frustration and nervousness.
It was currently 4:30AM and you refused to get sleep until your husband came back. There were heavy tears falling down your face as you sat in the dark living room just waiting to hear the door open. You started to loose hope, you called him about 50 times but no answer. “Please, Katsuki come home. I can’t lose you baby.” You whimpered before breaking down quietly not wanting to wake up your daughter. You called everyone that was in contact with Katsuki asking them if they heard or seen Katsuki but nothing. You jumped up when you heard something from the front door, you gasped lightly as you heard the lock being unlocked. You immediately ran to the door, you put a hand over your mouth as you saw your husband in the doorway. He had dirt everywhere and cuts and scrapes, his head was dripping blood as he limped. You wanted to hug him badly but with how he looked you were scared to hurt him. Bakugou seemed to know that you wanted a hug but you were hesitant, he felt his heart break seeing your broken state. “C’mere baby.” You immediately dashed towards him and wrapped your arms around his neck, you broke down. Katsuki rubbed your back as he inhaled your scent missing you being in his touch. “It’s okay babe, I’m home now.” His raspy voice rang through your ears, your whole body was shaking. “I-I thought y-you- “I know baby, I’m here though. Safe and alive.” He cupped your face as he admired your face, he felt like such a dick seeing your tears streaked face and your red puffy eyes. He brought your face closer to him as he kissed you. You immediately kissed him back as you wrapped your arms around his neck, his hands on your back rubbing slow circles. “Don’t you ever do that to me.” You said as you snuggled into his chest, he chuckled lightly. “I promise babe, I’ll never scare the shit out of you again.” You laughed for the first time today as you gave him a smile. You took his hand and led him upstairs, he walked towards your daughters room. He opened the door belfre walking in quietly, he smiled seeing her sleep peacefully. He bent down to peck her forehead a few times, he rubbed her back lightly. “I’m home princess.” He whispered even though she was still sleeping. He got up before closing the door and walking into your shared room, “She is going to be all over you tomorrow.” You said as you got some towels for Katsuki, “I can agree.” “You know, She believed that you weren’t coming home.” He winced “Fuck, I’m sorry.” “Hey.” You went up to Katsuki and cupped his face, you could see the pain in his eyes. He softly grabbed your wrist and kissed your palm that was on his cheek. “Please don’t bring yourself down about this. I told her that you were coming home.” “But still, I hate that my daughter thinks the worst is gonna happen to me.” “But your home now.” It was silent for a few minutes, Katsuki pulled your head toward his chest as he wrapped his arms around you and kissed your head before resting his chin on the top of your head. “I’ll always have you here.”
cw: slight nsfw, slight angst (microscopic levels), FLUFFF, mention of pregnancy, mention of children
a/n: hi friends, this is the first time i've posted in a while and hopefully not the last, i have lots of ideas that i wanna share. if ya'll have requests or any little blurbs, hit a girl up
So they have like 6 kids right, because bakugou cant keep his hands off of her. and he has so much love and admiration for her not only because of how amazing of a mother and wife she is, but for going through pregnancy and labor 6 fuckin times. and she bodies that shit like every time and comes out better, faster, and stronger. but after their 6th kid, they think its time to slow down because sir this is not a breeding farm (👀)
and so wife has never been thin per se, but after this 6th kid, she looks in the mirror sometimes and feels like a whale. she still loves herself, but all those years of not minding the baby weight, she starts to feel like she's put on a very noticeable amount. her first priority ofc is taking care of her babies but standing in front of the mirror and critiquing herself has become an increasingly time consuming addition to her day.
she spends less and less time busying herself with things outside of work like going out with friends or running errands, and spends more and more time in her and katsuki's bedroom trying on all of her clothes, lingerie, and checking all her angles in the mirror. and she hides it damn well because no one notices, not even kat's. she decides to take matters into her own hands and starts doing some more exercise than she usually does, going to the gym and going on runs with the stroller. But the more she does, it seems the more apparent it becomes to her that nothing is changing.
kat's first sign that something is up is when he finds her rummaging through his side of the closet looking for who knows what. babe what'r ya doin? he comes up behind her, arms wrapping around her waist, with a confused look. i'm lookin for some clothes to wear to lunch with the girls she mumbles out still sifting through his things. in my side? whats over here that cha need hon? he says nuzzling into her neck looking curiously at what she's picking out. i dont know i'm just looking for something she huffs, feeling frustrated and out of luck that as she suspected, none of his clothes are even remotely cute enough for the outing. okay baby, i'm gonna go run the kids to moms. he says giving her a quick peck on the cheek, unwrapping from her, and walking out of the closet. she spends a couple more minutes looking but ultimately finds nothing, and then she feels like shit so she ends up canceling on the girls.
kat's second sign is when she turns down an invitation to a hero event. it wasn't the annual hero gala, but it was a pretty big event with lots of top level heroes, big sponsors, and rich people in attendance. it peaked katsuki's suspicion because she never turned down a chance to dress up and go out with him, and her response was blunt. he kinda presses her like, babe you love galas, whats going on?? but she stands firm in that she does NOT want to go and that shes just kinda feeling icky postpartum. he reluctantly goes along with it, and the headlines are talking about his appearance without her for like a week. now hes kind of suspicious so hes keeping an extra close eye on her activity.
the third and final straw is when she abruptly disappears one saturday evening right before their scheduled date night. the kids were at their grandparents, and kats was busy in his office when he noticed the time, quickly getting up and going to go find her so they could talk about what they're wearing. babe? baby? he checked all around until he walked up stairs towards their room and heard faint sniffling through the door. He walks into the room cautiously but concerned, finds nothing, then follows the sound of her increasingly intense sobs. He slowly opens the closet door with a quiet baby? and sees her, cheeks streaked with tears, curled up in a ball on the floor, looking very distraught. Of course he still takes a small second to admire her beauty but then hes immediately on the floor with her arms moving her to his lap, hands coming up to her cute, tear-stricken face. honey whats wrong? what happened? he coos, trying to understand what could have possibly made her so upset.. and she just can't stand keeping it in any longer so she spills everything, saying how since the last baby she feels huge, and very unsexy, and that she knows he loves her but she doesn't feel like he wants her sexually anymore, and it seems like everyone in the world is so rude nowadays, and the skinny soccer moms look at her funny now, and the karens at the school seem to think shes apart of their group for some reason...
bakugou listens intently to every single thing she has to say but is also beating him self up fr for not catching any of this. he wouldn't hesitate to say that she is absolutely his rock and nothing less, but hes also supposed to be hers, and he feels like he failed at that. if he couldn't see that something was wrong and help her through it than what kind of husband is he? baby listen to me he whispers all of those scary thoughts bouncing around up there? he brushes her hair back out of her face its all just noise. you are the most beautiful, intelligent, kind, loving person that i ever have and ever will know. i admire you more than you'll ever understand. you make me a better man, you raise our kids so beautifully, with love and patience, and i guarantee you, everyone you come across knows that you are the kindest soul there is. and if theres someone fucking your shit up you know ill take care of it. you glow inside and out baby, you light up any room that you walk into. and ill be reminding you every day now since you can't seem to get it through your stubborn head.
shes not sobbing anymore but shes gazing into his eyes in awe of how she could possibly have locked him down. she closes the space between them, kissing him on the lips softly, pouring out all her love for him hoping it conveys what she can't seem to put into words. And he feels it washing over him; the sweet, soft, gentle but passionate love that they share being opened up like a pandora's box. it seeps into every corner of the house, every crevice of their bodies, and sparks with every touch and caress. he can smell it in the air and she can hear it ringing in her ears. its not visible in the way material things are but its even more present in every way, it takes up all space there is to take and grows and expands.
they're lost in eachother - in the love sticking to them like glitter. kats breaks away to make one more point and if you think im not attracted to you, you are horribly mistaken. and thats the least of it. im unhealthily obsessed with you babe. you are the only thing i see. you and your body is on my mind 90% of the day, and im constantly fighting a hard on. i can't even get it up to porn anymore. she hits him upside the head laughing. their bodies still and forever entangled in the love they've made.
