So...had a hilarious scene pop into by head due to the thought that when universe hopping Danny has to conform to the laws of that universe. And if he hopped to DC universe, due to his space core and powers, Danny ends up basically a Space Spirit/Living Star in Human form instead of having two forms. Cause outside Captain Marvel/Shazam that isn't really something normal for DC heroes and Danny's second form is biological not magical. And because of how loosely connected th DC universe is to the Infinity Realms, Danny can't break away from this universe's laws like he would be able to with one closer connected and closer to his own universe.

Therefore living Star/Space Demigod Danny comes into existence. Which Is A Learning Curve He DID Not Ask For. Cause on top of relearning t use his powers and getting used to his new body?!? He has to find a way home which could take a while due to how far this place is from the Infinity Realms. (Don't know how he ended up thre. Probably natural portal whilst fleeing from the GIW)

But anyway back to the funny scene that popped into my head cause of this train of thought-

Hal meeting Danny because he finds the kid fighting a raccoon over a pizza in the dumpster next to his apartment complex.

Hal holding feral child by scruff of neck with his powers: ....Is this how batman acquires his Robin's? Is this how one becomes a father?

Spider Save

Hal woke as he usually did, grumpy and slightly disoriented. He yawned and checked the time on his phone, which read 8:00 a.m.

In Hal's opinion, that's entirely too early to be awake on a Saturday when he doesn't have to wake up at 6, drive his kid to school, and then go to work. That is, when he's not being called to Oa in the middle of the night. Thank the universe Oliver's always open to babysitting.

He could go back to sleep, or– he could lie in bed scrolling through Carol's social media and seeing if she's still married since the last time he checked. Which was last night.

Just as he opened his phone, he heard a shriek echo from somewhere else in the apartment. Hal bolted out of bed, nearly falling on his face while trying to put on sweatpants over his boxers before running to his kid's room.

As he rightfully assumed, Andy stood by his bed in terror as he stared at the wall behind his bed. Hal rubbed the sleep from his eyes to clear his vision, then squinted to see whatever scared his son so badly.

"... Is that a spider?" He asked, his voice still gruff and thick with sleep. The kid nodded, running to the furthest corner away from what looked to be a jumping spider. Those are pretty common in Coast City.

Hal grabbed a bookmark off of Andy's bedside table, which was littered with trinkets and small things Hal brought back for him from missions. He coaxed the spider onto thin plastic, and it went willingly, if not slightly cautious.

He used to be the type to squish the spider and move on with his day, but he couldn't bring himself to do something like that in front of his child, who'd probably be pissed at him for the rest of the day. Hal carried the spider to the window and allowed it to crawl onto a nearby tree.

"I think he's all gone now, kiddo." Hal says, shutting the window and turning back to Andy. "How about breakfast? Pancakes? I think we've earned pancakes."

Yes, Dad Hal! Or… Dad’s best friend Hal who looks and acts all innocent and dorky, until one night when you’re at Hal’s house (either he’s throwing a party or you’re staying at his house while your dad’s away on a trip) and he shows you things you never knew about him before… 😉😏

Dad!Hal Headcanons

Hal would fight Batman for custody rights of the many many Robins and sidekicks if he thought he could win in both a legal court and fist fight against the Bat. Doesn't stop him from becoming the favorite of each new sidekick. These kids need an emotionally available parent damn it!

Sadly he lost that battle for being Dick and Jason's favorite due to not being around alot as they were starting out, but he is rather smug he is the rest's favorite.

Though he shares being Steph's favorite with Barry and that's okay.

Hal doesn't know who started it...but one of the kids or his coworkers started calling him Mama Bear and it...stuck. No matter how much he protests that he is not the 'Mom' of Batman's brood.

Also it was Barry. Barry was the one who started it after Hal went off on a rant about Robin (Dick) almost getting hurt because Bats had brought Robin along to help with an Alien Invasion. Hal had spent the entire fight protecting the little Robin as he cackled and sprung around the battle field. Total Mama Bear

There is a lot of photographic evidence of Hal and Robin (each one of them) or other Batkid Sidekicks napping together in the Watch Tower. Some with Batman brooding protectively in a shadow as the two nap. Even some of Hal being swamped by former-Robins and other batkids in a puppy nap pile. They are adorable

“Where are your clothes?” prompt

I chose Dad Hal!

Hal liked to consider himself prepared for anything that was thrown at him. Now that Hal had a kid of his own, it probably helped. 

That’s why Hal was able to snatch up his streaking and sudsy toddler as he came through the balcony door. “Where are your clothes?”

His son was laughing his little head off, screeching “daddy” as Hal held him like a football. Hal was grinning as he fully entered the apartment, following the trails of soap and water to where he knew you’d be mopping up the aftermath of Bath Time. 

“Honey, I’m home!”
