I hit home in my browser and it takes me to the top of the window I hit home in my word processor and it went to the beginning of the line. Control-home went to the beginning of the the document. I hit control-home in my spreadsheet and it went to the first cell. I hit control-option-shift-home in my calendar and it went to the beginning of time.
