She was being paid to accompany him to a meeting. It was silly, pointless posturing, and quite frankly, he felt it was beneath him — but this particular criminal circle believed it to be a symbol of status to have a beautiful, exotic woman on one’s arm, and he was trying to send them a clear, distinct message. Unfortunately, that meant speaking their language. 

He phoned her six hours prior, using her personal phone number, naturally. He offered a price, explained the situation (in vague terms, of course), and told her to wear something scandalous. He did not give her an opportunity to decline, but even if he had, he would not have expected that she would.  

Now, here they were.

Eerie, glittery electronica poured backward from the club’s dancefloor, seeping into the private booth. Izaya sat upon blue velvet while Cherry sat upon his lap, mostly-bare legs draped across his hips. On the table, a half-finished cherry martini (he simply couldn’t resist), stood forgotten amidst a series of empty glasses and small plates. They were alone.

The meeting had long since finished. It had been a short, easy one, even more so than he’d expected; he had been right to bring the girl as an accessory. Words were exchanged alongside envelopes of money, and after about twenty minutes of back-and-forth — and perhaps a few threats on Izaya’s end — the unsavory businessmen stood up and left.

But he hadn’t left. He was observing some promising stranger across the way, curious as to whether or not they were worth his time and interest. 

Cherry did not much care for this. She wasn’t jealous — not at all — she was simply bored, and quite frankly, she felt as though her wonderful outfit had been wasted on this particular job. But it wasn’t as if she could leave: the bastard hadn’t paid her yet.

She watched him as he watched someone else, his eyes too dark and too sharp — much too sharp for the haziness of a seedy club — and found herself stricken with a wicked little impulse. Still sitting on his lap, she reached back and picked up the half-finished martini, downing it in one swallow — and then, after discarding the glass, rocked her hips against his.

That got his attention.

In an instant, Izaya’s eyes were pulled away from his distraction, their disconcerting sharpness redirected at his companion. He smiled as if amused. “Oh? Is that right?” 

“That’s right.” She rocked her hips again, a challenge. 

His eyes never left hers. A cloying, sarcastic hand slowly reached up, teasing, and grabbed her by the jaw. “I’m not paying you extra for this type of thing, you know.” 

She didn’t answer him, only raised her eyebrows and grinned. Pulling her head out from his clutches, she leaned down and began to kiss his neck, rocking her hips again, again, again, refusing to stop until she felt his body react.

It felt good, she thought, to make him react.

And it felt even better when he kissed her, too, playful, unhinged, almost violent. She laughed against his lips and grabbed him by the hair, pulling his head back to expose his throat. More kisses, small bites. She felt his breath quicken, heard the faintest, sweetest little sound — and then felt the cold steel of a knife pressed against her throat. 

She looked up at him. His eyes were closed, lashes kissing his cheeks, and he was smiling, open-mouthed and breathy. Then, looking past him, she saw someone else, a bartender, perhaps, or a server, looking upon the two of them in horror.

Making eye contact with them, Cherry rolled her hips into his once more, closing her hand over his own, and helped him press the knife harder against her neck. 

“I dare you to kiss me,” she said.

He laughed. 

And then he did.

B : BOUQUET . does your muse like flowers? which one are their favourite? TOTALLY! Kamina admires scenery and every living thing, big or small. But of course to Kamina, he likes things that mean something! If he had a favorite flower, it would be something that represent an emotion or have deeper meaning. Orange roses represent desire and passion, camellias have no fragrance yet are so beautiful and have the potential to be more than what they are on the bare surface. On one hand Kamina could care less about a flower and what it's doing, but if he had to be all poetic about a flower, those two would be his go to. WHAT A NERD.

E : EMBRACE . does your muse like hugs? what are their hugs like? YES! Kamina is very physical and in your face. If you're someone who's close to him or he considers you someone worthy of his gang, he's gonna show it. Even though he's more of a *SLAPS ON YOU ON THE BACK "GO GET EM!"* kind of guy, he knows that appreciating your comrades while they're here to be appreciated is important. If he feels strongly about you, he's gonna show it. FIUDJFKGDFG TO ANSWER: YES. KAMINA LOVES HUGS. His hugs are warm and sincere. Also probably painful GUDFJGFD SQUEEZE

G : GIFT . is your muse good at gift - giving or do they struggle to get it right? It's neither here or there to be honest GUDFJKGFH really if Kamina thinks a gift will do, that's it. It'll do. He's stubborn and impatient so gift shopping is hard for him, frankly it doesn't matter who it's for. If he deems it "WORTHY OF THE MIGHTY KAMINA'S SELECTION" blah blah he'll get it GDJFKHGFH

F : FLIRT . is your muse good at flirting? how do they flirt? Yes. God yes. Kamina is easily flustered and doesn't exactly read a room as quickly as he could, so if you flirt with him or imply something, then the question marks are certainly gonna be popping all over his head HUDFJGF. He's certainly romantic and poetic when he gets it, though. Once he understands what you mean, he plays along. But sometimes he gets too far gone into whatever attempted poetic thing he's saying and flusters himself

O : ODE . does your muse have a way with words? YES. OF COURSE, IT'S KAMINA!!!!!!

R : ROMANCE . is your muse a romantic or a cynic? Kamina's a sucker for romance even though he may not be the best at it. He knows that true love is something that requires trust, passion, and compatibility and those are things that he's all about! Love can be a strong emotion, and it's an emotion he thinks should never be let go.

Y : YOURS . does your muse get protective easily? VERY MUCH SO! He'll literally punch the lights out of anyone who hurts you, he'll put his coat over your shoulder when it's raining, he'll make sure you eat something every day, and he'll hype you up!

U : UNREQUITED . has your muse had their heart broken? In a romantic sense, no.

N : NAUGHTY . what is your muse like in bed? Listen this guy's all talk but when it gets down to it he's a softy. Like yeah he'll talk himself up and say what his partner wants to hear but in the end the love is what he's focused on.
