Do you guys ever think about how canonically the vessels that angels occupy aren’t supposed to age (s12e10 when Cas is impressed his buddies kept their same vessels for well over a century. Also apparently Cas tells Jimmy when he first was requesting permission to inhabit his body, that Jimmy would not age while he was doing so.)

…but Castiel definitely ages. Obviously I get that this is simply because Misha himself is aging, but *my* in-universe headcanon is that he’s choosing it, (whether consciously or unconsciously) because he wants to grow old with Dean.

I'm gonna give you deancas + babies

AIGHT (do you like Daddystiel stuff (or whatever) I’m not a huge fan but eh.) 

-Dean and Cas would first both deny it but they both lovveee singing the baby to sleep. (babies in general?? their baby? idfc), eventually it turns into a contest of who can pick the best song and sing it better. one night Dean sings a lullaby version of Carry On My Wayward Son (he stole it from the spn musical those girls did but eh, cas doesnt have to know that) and after he sings it he shoots Cas a smug look and gently places the now sleeping baby in the crib. The next day it’s Cas’s turn and he busts out Devils Backbone by the Civil Wars (Cas has been exploring music lately) and Dean is just floored by his deep voice and how quickly the baby fell asleep and also he’s pretty sure the Cas picked that song as a shout out to Dean, basically sniping him, and Dean just gives Cas a small loving smile and claps softly. The baby fast asleep

-They are both overly gentle with the baby so when they have to bring it(as in gender ambiguous baby)places  they are always super late because Cas took forever to very s l o w l y walk out to car, cradling the baby and Dean was very very careful that the straps were perfect on the car seat and then he had to triple check and make sure the baby bag had everything in perfect order. And then oh my god driving to their destination takes twice as long and Dean finds all the smoothest roads to go down and drives at half speed and Cas is just twisted around in the passenger seat intently staring at the baby the whole time and Dean takes little glances at the baby in the mirror every .5 seconds when he’s not looking at the road

-Once the baby can walk and is in it’s ‘messy’ phase Dean just follows it around and cleans everything it has wreaked toddler havoc on 

-Cas hates changing diapers. He can’t handle it

-Cas loves feeding the baby and spooning it all the gunnkie food and he makes those overexagerated faces when he’s not thinking about it and Dean swears it’s the cutest thing he has ever seen

-Dean gets one of those baby smoothie things and makes sure he smoothies  up pie and all that because, “it’s never too early for good food, Cas” 

-They are both really smitten with how cute their (the?) baby is
