Celebrating the 4th with Bob and the Daggers (Bob Floyd x Reader)

Warnings: Parenthood, holiday shenanigans, some World Cup shenanigans etc.

You and Bob do a MASSIVE picnic every year on the 4th, but this year's was extra special

For one thing, you guys had made a ton of friends who were visiting the US for the World Cup and decided that the best way to have fun was to extend the invitation

Jake, being from Texas, is the master at the art of barbecue. Briskets, burgers, ribs, prime rib, he's done it all and has the best rubs and sauces for it. He also had a long distance friend visiting from South Korea and the two of them developed what is quite possibly the most evil level of spicy barbecue sauce in existence (lol)

Coyote had some extended family members travel up to the states from Brazil. His uncle not only helped Jake work the BBQ pits, but he also taught some of the older kids the best moves for the soccer fields

Natasha and her grandpa Earl made a huge flag banner that had all the names of both former and active duty family members and friends. There was even a table at the other end of the pavillion where everyone was allowed to bring a photo of family or friends who served and it was dubbed "the memorial table"

You and Bob did SO MUCH COOKING in the days leading up to it. His Meemaw and his mom had helped you guys out with all the side dishes and the dessert table had every kind of cookie, candy, cake and pie you guys could think up

Payback and Fanboy got the bright idea to have a bunch of people go up on the roof of The Hard Deck and do the YMCA dance. That was yours and Bob's first time doing it and you had never had so much fun

Tons and tons of water fights between the kids. It was so hot that everybody was either having squirt gun fights, water balloon fights or were taking a dive in the ocean to cool off

Soooooo many flyovers from the Navy base that day, all the kiddos were jumping up and down with excitement

Many of your friends who were visiting from Germany and Scotland made sure to bring extra beer. They never forgot when Penny ran out and had to make an emergency beer run (lol)

A few of your friends who were visiting from Japan had gifted Penny and Mav with a handmade flag to hang outside the door of the bar. Bob knew one of them from training exercise and made sure to give him and his wife a little something in return

Everybody was dancing to some of the best music in existence, country, 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s throwback tunes. By the end of the night, everybody knew the words to "Watermelon Crawl"

a/n- HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! I know its almost over, but college and work are a pain in the ass...hopefully I am able to post more this year, but I don't want to make any promises. Anyway me and my amazing friend @rewrittenreality here texting like a month ago about if the tgm dagger squad boys became dads, this is the result of that. I hope y'all enjoy.

Bob was over the moon when he found out you found out you were pregnant. He would surprise you with flowers and a gift for your baby. When he found out that you would be having a girl we went into full girl-dad mode. He found matching outfits for the three of you to all match with once the baby was born. 

The day your baby was born Bob couldn't stop smiling. The first time he held her, he looked like his life was complete. You walked in more times than you can count to him just staring at your daughter with all the love he had.

As she got older he learned how to do her hair in various styles, and would dress her so they could twin. When her favorite movie was the little mermaid he started calling her “Flounder” and it stuck. The dagger squad started calling her that too, leading to her being the first baby dagger squad member to get a callsign. 

On her first day of school Bob woke up extra early to make her her favorite breakfast, and get her a small bouquet. And when it was time to drop her off you could swear that Bob cried more than her. 

He would talk to your belly just like he did in your first pregnancy, which you swear is why she is a  daddy's girls. But you didn’t mind, you loved your husband any your daughter more than anything else.

When you found out you were pregnant, and that it was another girl, you couldn't wait for Bob to find out. He was on deployment when you learned of the second Floyd baby. When he got home he looked confused at your daughter's shirt. It read “big sister”. When it clicked he looked back and forth between her shirt and you before pulling you into a tight hug. When you told him it was another little girl he told you he was excited to be a girl dad again. So the matching outfits were updated to include another baby. And just like before, when your younger daughter’s favorite movie was Zootopia, he started calling her “Bunny”.

Bob was meant to be a girl dad. He made sure to raise them with all the love possible. He told you everyday that you were the best thing to happen to him, and that you made him the happiest man in the world.

Adopting a pet with Bob headcannons (Bob Floyd x Reader)

Notes: Rest in peace Jimmy Buffett, your music was a huge part of my life and was always a little piece of the Florida sunshine whenever it was freezing cold

You and Bob have alot of places where you love to split your time, but you were a little surprised when you found out his family had a little beach cottage down in Islamorada, Florida

The house had actually been where his mom grew up going as a kid (Irene grew up in Tallahassee but her father was mostly stationed in Pensacola) and it's where she and Joe spent their honeymoon

So when you and Bob ended up taking on the place as your own, you two spent quite a significant amount of time there, especially with the rest of the squad (and especially when Mickey's family descended en masse when the Hurricanes would play)

You were down at the cottage one day, fixing it up after a hurricane had blown over. Thankfully, the damage wasn't too horrible, but it still needed some good repairing

You were out in the garden one day replanting some really pretty, and rather fuzzy, red and yellow flowers when a blue and yellow macaw landed next to you and started whistling

You and Bob were a little bit weirded out but the bird didn't mean any harm. You even gave him some mealworms from the garden and oh did he eat them up

And every day he'd come back begging for more mealworms

You'd even give him the leftover fruits that were a bit too ripe in the fridge and he'd chow down right at the kitchen window

But you and Bob also found he was the most gentle little bird you had ever met

You took him down to the animal shelter one day to see if he happened to have a chip and the vet did indeed find one. The animal control officer ran the numbers and found out he had belonged to a bartender who couldn't keep him anymore

But you and Bob felt terrible and didn't want your new feathered friend to end up in the shelter

So you worked it out with the officer and the macaw's original owner and in no time at all, he was yours

It was yours and Bob's idea to name him Jimmy since he reminded you of the parrot on the covers to his dad's Jimmy Buffett albums

Any time you played "Knee Deep", "Margaritaville" or "Cheeseburger in Paradise", Jimmy would start dancing and flapping his wings on his little perch and you thought it was the funniest thing in the world

Bob even taught him how to whistle "Bridge on the River Kwai", you sent the video to the Daggers, his family and even put it up on Tik Tok which got a ton of laughs

Jimmy is also incredibly protective of your kids. One time Auggie encountered a group of kids who weren't so nice and Jimmy ended up scaring the shit outta the kid, much like Smokey the family rooster

That damn bird once flew off with one of Rooster's Hawaiian shirts. It wasn't the best one in the closet and Jimmy had shown his distaste by pulling it off the clothesline and flying up into the jacaranda tree in the garden

But you and Bob were happy beyond words to have adopted Jimmy into the family

Because you both know that you'll have many laughs in the years to come

Natasha “Phoenix” Trace as a mom headcannons (Phoenix x OC)

When Cole and Phoenix got married and decided they wanted a kid, it was only after a looooooong talk

Because both were in the Navy and weren’t sure if they’d have the time

But thank God they had you and Bob there for them. Bob was a permanent civy instructor so he offered to pull the weight as much as he could

So when the seed finally took, Cole and Natasha were happy but still scared shitless

Oh God did she hate being pregnant (lol)

The morning sickness was pretty bad, Cole had to stay home for two weeks because it was just straight up awful

After that, things got pretty smooth, they were over the moon when they found out it was a boy

But every time Natasha even walked anywhere, lil boy decided he was gonna kick her bladder which resulted in her having to run home at least five times to grab extra pants

Gabe as a newborn? Surprisingly easy, when he got to be a toddler? That was a different story

That boy was a FUCKING MENACE

And when him and Auggie would play together? It took four adults to watch them at all times

One night after dinner, Natasha had lifted the little ghoul for his bath and had nearly succeeded in getting him in the tub, but in the blink of an eye, he was running outta that bathroom completely naked, trying to hop the fence into yours and Bob’s yard. It took all four of you to catch him

One time he even took after his mother when he came traipsing back to the house with a Ziploc bag full of acorns. Cole’s dad, Billy, was sitting out on the porch in the rocker and asked Gabe what he had and his response was “IT’S MY NUTSACK!” 

Natasha loves Gabe to death but occasionally her and Cole have to take him to the Navy events

Which results in her threatening the little menace within an inch of his life to be on his best behavior

Deployments are tough, every now and again her and Cole are both deployed which results in you and Bob having to take him

AND FOR SOME REASON HE’S A TOTAL ANGEL!!!!

Natasha and Cole love the kid to death

Because they could never imagine life without him

BESTIE!!! My bestie, of course I'll do it!!! I am so sorry for the slow reply, I've been working on a bunch of other stuff but anything for you my dear (lol).

It was a frigid night and you were absolutely exhausted from work

On top of that you had been running around all over the place, taking the dog to the vet, running baked goods to family and the rest of the Daggers, etc.

Reuben saw how exhausted you were

"Ah-ah! Nope, I got this!"

You went bright red when he slid his jeans off

"C'mon baby, ya'll are on the nice list this year and Santa's got plenty of lap space"

You definitely weren't saying no to that

Oh man did it feel good when he stuck the duvet around the two of you

And when he slid his boxers off?? You honestly thought you were in heaven

You honestly don't know how the two of you managed to get through Return of the Jedi just by cockwarming

Because his hands just wouldn't stay put

But regardless, you wouldn't have had it any other way

Because it was those close intimate moments that made your relationship strong

Random Halo Headcannons (because we fucking need these!!)

Halo’s second generation American

Her family came from the Philippines and there’s some serious history there. Her grandma’s dad fought alongside US soldiers during WWII and even served as a translator for Douglas MacArthur

Speaking of her gram, she was the one Callie was always closest with

And damn is her grandma a character (lol)

Picture Mulan’s grandmother and Awkwafina’s grandma from “Nora from Queens” both rolled into one........yeah, that’s her

And when the Dagger squad met her? She took to’em right away

She freaked Jake out once when they walked into the house and she was doing something in the kitchen, turns out it was just dinner prep but the sight of her holding a big giant meat cleaver was enough to have Hangman crossing his legs all throughout dinner

And when everybody came down with a head-cold?? Oh man her seafood stew cleared them all right out

Once again, Jake got the short end of the stick and accidentally ate a whole Thai chili that had been in his stew 

Never did anybody think they would hear him utter the phrase, “MY MOUTH AND MY ASSHOLE ARE BOTH ON FIRE!!!!” 

Bob on the other hand was like “I dunno what ya’ll are talking about, this shit’s GREAT!!!” 

Meanwhile, Callie and Nat are holding the hot peppers in their mouths for all of ten seconds before they ate’em

Callie and the others got scared when Grandma found a cricket and wanted to give it the good luck test

Everybody almost shit themselves when she walked onto A FUCKING FIGHTER JET RUNWAY!!!!!!!!!!

“Yep! This cricket’s a lucky one!!!”

Everybody was relieved that she was ok, but Callie kept muttering “my Grandma’s fucking insane!!!” 

Her gram’s also got a little side hustle going. She’ll get the leaves chopped and make hand rolled menthols for Hondo and Cyclone

Regardless of the chaos

Coyote as a Dad headcannons (Coyote x Reader)

You and Coyote had been trying for a while to start a family

But it really seemed like nothing was working

But as with many things, it happened when you least expected it

You called him while he was still up in the plane and told him he was gonna be a dad

His reaction however was to scream out “HOLY SHIT!!!” and accidentally speed up

Thank God he caught himself before he went too far

When he landed he ran straight to the truck, like barreling past the rest of Dagger Squad, waving his flight helmet like it was a fuckin victory flag

He almost tackled you coming in the door

“MY BABY’S HAVIN MY BABY!!!!!!” 

The first two months were rough.....like really rough

The morning sickness was pretty bad, most nights you and Javy didn’t sleep

When Phoenix asked how bad it was, Javy’s response was “You ever see The Exorcist?” 

Eventually it got better

Those were some of the best days for the two of you

Javy even called his extended family in Brazil when you found out it was twin girls

And his mom nearly fainted, she was so happy

Javy is definitely the dad who talks to the girls and tells them that he’ll be sitting in the living room with the uncles when the girls start bringing boys home so he can intimidate the hell out of them

When the girls are finally born, he took a ton of pictures and sent them to family and the entire Dagger Squad

And when they got older you would bring them to the base to visit Daddy

“THE QUEEN AND MY PRINCESSES HAVE ARRIVED!!!!” 

And when Javy comes back from a mission, the girls are always waiting on the couch, looking out the window

Some nights you guys will curl up in bed with the girls and binge watch all the Disney movies you can think of, once you did it from the oldest to the newest

You and the girls are Javy’s life

And his whole existence
