AGON by John Harper
The GM advice in AGON, a game of Greek heroes and their legends, really hit home for me when I read it, particularly that first point. KISS - Keep It Simple, Stupid has been something I have said to myself many times.

Question: What do I need to be aware of today?
Result: The Empress
Interpretation: Help others as you would like to be helped, realize that you are an important part of this universe, and even the smallest acts can help someone through their day.
Do not fall in love With people like me. people like me will love you so hard that you turn into stone into a statue where people come to marvel at how long it must have taken to carve that faraway look into your eyes Do not fall in love with people like me we will take you to museums and parks and monuments and kiss you in every beautiful place so that you can never go back to them without tasting us like blood in your mouth Do not come any closer. people like me are bombs when our time is up we will splatter loss all over your walls in angry colors that make you wish your doorway never learned our name do not fall in love with people like me. with the lonely ones we will forget our own names if it means learning yours we will make you think hurricanes are gentle that pain is a gift you will get lost in the desperation in the longing for something that is always reaching but never able to hold do not fall in love with people like me. we will destroy your apartment we will throw apologies at you that shatter on the floor and cut your feet we will never learn how to be soft we will leave. we always do.
“Do Not Fall in Love With People Like Me,” Caitlyn Siehl (What We Buried)
Adding to that last one...
I mean... it really does seem that way when you think about it.
Daily Card
Disclaimer: doing this for practice. I want to do a daily card to start the day off, though I’m also a beginner reader so only take this with as much trust in me as you may have. Please feel free to help me with my interpretations/definitions of the cards! I would love any help with this as I go along my journey in this craft! That being said-
Four of Clubs
The four represents a feeling of stability or a feeling of being stuck or trapped.
The clubs here mirrors wands in a normal tarot deck. Clubs represent the creative, business, intelectual, and relationship side of the deck.
The Four of Clubs denotes a rest from action, a pause, in a simple, surface level reading. To get more into detail, according to my ‘source book’ (the area(s) I get more in-depth break downs of the card to interpret them in a reading. I will update a source area for them), in relation to the 4 of Wands, the 4 of Clubs denotes that good times are at hand. Do not limit your creative capacity and understand that it is perfectly okay to take a break. You’ll need one every now and then, so it’s fine to stop and breathe before going right back to it.
In a more negative light, the Four of Clubs denotes an incoming threat. It is a warning against dishonesty and deceit. Do not be blinded by false acceptance today or in the near future. Watch for unforeseen events in the future as well.

Paleo, gluten and dairy free, Atkins, Keto…the diet list is endless. Restrictive eating is dominating our plates but not supporting our health and athletic ambitions.
It’s no surprise that removing processed food and the accompanying excess sugar, salt, and trans fats could benefit us all. One particularly concerning and common set of restrictions among the aforementioned diets, however, is the common restriction on fruits, grains, and legumes.
I’d like to reveal that the real reason that these foods are restricted is because they are high in carbohydrates and, if these restrictive diets eliminate the “bulkiest” sources of carbohydrates, people will lose a dramatic amount of water weight in the beginning. Because people lose weight immediately, the diets will continue to “work” in the short term and thus sell books and make money. Period. The end.
...who prefer to put their last trust in a sure nothing, rather than in an uncertain something. But that is Nihilism, and the sign of a despairing, mortally wearied soul.
