GUYS, THE THIN MAN IS ON TCM!
I'd normally put this on my side blog but I know I've discussed it with some of you over here, so....
:D
Happy birthday to the ever-lovely dailypaulryan! :) For you.
Guess what was a year ago yesterday?
That's right, this ridiculousness. Good times.
So that would mean today is the anniversary of dailypaulryan becoming my best friend in the history of friends for finding what is now my avatar. ;)
Directionsofistre tagged me in one of those "write 10 things about yourself" thingies... :)
1. I LOVE chunky babies. In fact, a few minutes ago I flipped out over these pictures of Claire Danes’ baby (hey directionsofistre! It’s Hugh Dancy’s son!).
2. I’m thinking of starting the books Game of Thrones is based on.
3. I’m always juggling 2 or 3 books at once. Can never finish one at a time.
4. I’m obsessed with the Tudor era, particularly Henry VIII’s wives. They’re all so fascinating.
5. I’m really bad at whistling.
6. I have a slice of pizza in one hand and am typing this sentence with the other.
7. I love the Colorado Rockies, even though they depress me so.
8. My car is a Focus named Alfred (as in Bruce Wayne’s butler Alfred Pennyworth).
9. I heart beer. New Belgium’s one of my very favorite brands and I’ve toured the “Mothership" twice.
10. One of my grandma’s cousins was in the NFL and played in the very first Super Bowl with the Chiefs. They lost Super Bowl I but won Super Bowl IV.
Now imma tag some folks.
Paul Ryan + tan suits
Because we all need to change it up every once in awhile. Thanks to dailypaulryan as usual for finding good stuff and doing most of the work for me! ;)
Made #3 the biggest because it is unreasonably hot.
dailypaulryan replied to your post: Emily, ?, 16, female, straight, American, single, Bibi and other Israeli politicians, Sara, you ship Putvedev You’re seriously 14?!? Yep! I turn 15 in May though.
dailypaulryan replied to your post: Today I had lunch with someone who has lived to... Old people are amazing. I love talking to them. They are so blasé about stuff we consider major history. I know omg. Today this woman was talking about the day she heard WWII ended, and the way she spoke of it, you'd think it was just another day.
