Fun fact! I headcanon the Uchiha as the police force were aware of the kidnappings and were gathering evidence to bring to the daimyo. This evidence was an integral part of their non violent coup plan ( remember the uchiha wanted to and had the means for a bloodless coup, meanwhile danzo wanted it as messy as possible?) As it would have the daimyo give them legitimacy to clear out the old guard and make them heroes for exposing the crime.

The council didn't just kill the uchiha to get rid of a group of people they hated but did so to cover up their own crimes the force was investing!

Character for homebrew cyberpunk game, using the carbon 2081 system! Started with "idk who this guy is but he's gonna have robot legs" and now we're here. Valentin Devaux - Man whore with an 8 foot vertical leap. From the lunar colonies, recently back on earth to do crimes. Val lost 3 limbs in a work place accident and his corporate overlords outfitted him with cybernetic limbs so he could get back to work faster. Legs change between plantigrade and digitigrade, i think he wears shoes for looks but it's also very funny if he's gotta take them off every time his legs change. Also has disadvantage on stealth cuz of armor, but what if its just the clunking of metal legs instead.

Class is Daimyo (like a barbarian) and origin is Wormer (anyone born in space)

Daimyo house update

We have been watching this shoin for over ten years, ourselves and some Tokyo friends considered buying, and it is very inspiring to see someone investing in a re-thatch. Notably as the original thatch was removed after damage, a metal roof installed, and since removed to allow a magnificent re-thatching to be undertaken.

We look forward to seeing the final outcome - private home, ryokan, restaurant, we are unsure as though we have spoken to the thatcher we have yet to meet the new owners.

i wish we got to see more about the daimyo and the twelve guardian ninja kind of shinobi life. to me, asuma's character was given a lot of screen time regarding his strained relationship with the third hokage, his father, and his rebelliousness as a teenager.

it wasn't just a teenage angst thing either, like there was easily space to expand on a philosophical reality of whether shinobi should serve and go for the hokage or the daimyo. tho also asuma was probs js trying to get away from his father's shadow too. (ig that's also maybe why we never saw much interaction b/w asuma and konohamaru despite them being the few sarutobi left; asuma didn't want to pressure the sarutobi name and legacy onto him like the third did to him)

but i feel like aside from the asuma death arc, his whole time at the fire temple, supposedly very important but we never get to see it much, and characters like chiriku. asuma's fighting style is literally a bridge b/w ninja techniques and the spiritual martial arts of the fire temple.

his death was unnecessary. everything abt the episode just looked like fluff to add to the plot. like shikamaru js needed someone to die so it would be more plausible that he went after hidan and killed him in a revenge justice thing. asuma's an elite jonin and is extremely powerful. the son of the literal third hokage. he's normally got calm tactical knowledge, so realistically he would've gotten the picture of the situation and backed up, trusting his students.

anyways i js feel like it was incomplete and rushed. felt like a plot device to show shikamaru's rage after losing someone he loved tbh. or maybe im js annoyed i didnt get to see more of those other aspects.
