hii! could you do a Dallas bot where the reader is an avoidant attachment? One where the reader starts trying to push him away after she finally says “I love you” in order to protect herself from getting hurt, but he doesn’t let her end things and keeps fighting for their relationship and reassuring her? Thank you!

Dallas Winston x Avoidant Attachment!Reader
The music coming from the juke box at Buck’s was all of a sudden pounding in your ears.
Dally’s eyes widened, lips parting softly. “I-” he starts. You slid your arms down from where they had been languidly draped over his strong shoulders. Withdrawing yourself from the situation immediately, already cursing yourself for getting too soft with him.
“It's Dallas Winston, how could you be so stupid?” you internally chastised yourself. Why oh why did you have to say that to him. You knew what happened to girls like you who got too close to guys like him, much less profess your undying love for him. Good heavens you were such a mess, what could you have been thinking saying something so lame?
You slipped off the barstool you were sitting on, hearing the clack of your shoes against the old linoleum floor of Buck’s place. Edging past Dally quickly, you shuffled your feet, trying to escape what you had just revealed. He made a pass at grabbing your wrist but you were already half way out the door of the pub. Now your heart was pounding the same way the tune inside had been. You were desperate for a moment to catch your breath and collect your thoughts but you could already smell the familiar scent of stolen cologne and worn down leather from behind you. Unsure of what to do, you started running.
“What the hell man?” Dallas shouted after you. Slowing the pace of your running had no effect on your racing thoughts. You willed yourself to force the tears fogging your eyes back, you couldn't go making a fool of yourself in front of him twice. Dally caught up to you and spun you around by your shoulder. "What'chu runnin’ away for man?” Dally asked. His gaze softened for a split second – not long enough to be detected unless you were studying his expression hard – when he saw the glisten in your stare.
“Didnt you hear what I said?” you implored, praying in silence that he hadn't.
“Yeah.” the boy spoke back, uncertain of how else to respond. Your heart caught in your chest. “Oh.” you whispered. “Well then, I guess that's it.” you proclaimed, turning on your heel. Dally stood with a confused expression on his face, as if he was staring down a test question on a school paper that he didn't understand and it was frustrating him to no end. “What?” He hollered down the road at you. “Us.” you shout back. “We’re done right?” not even bothering to turn around and look at him, already braced for the answer you knew was coming. No one ever loved Dallas Winston. Even if Johnny did he certainly didn't tell him so.
Dally jogged to where you were walking. “Who ever said anything about that, doll?”. You rolled your eyes, hollow with partially dried tears. “Oh leave me alone would you, Winston. I know you don't do touchy feely stuff. I'm just getting over the inevitable, so stop bothering me.” you told him. No need to prolong the interaction, worse if he was following you just to mock.
“You think I'd just keep any ole broad around for this long if I didn't care at least a little bit about her?” he smirked as he pointed this out. You kept walking down the sidewalk, unconvinced and unimpressed. If he wanted to make fun of you, fine, but it was just cruel to give you a false impression of wanting anything serious. “Cant you just leave me alone, gosh what is wrong with you Dal? Why can't you just go back to Buck’s and rag on someone else?” your voice interrogated.
Dally stepped right into your path of movement, blocking you from passing him. He placed a hand on your waist and one on your jaw, fingers wrapping the back of your neck. His lips found yours, trying to convey a higher message, desperate, but unable to find the words. He pulled away, hand still cupping your face. “Would you just listen?” he breathed frustratedly. “I know I'm not the most honest guy,” he started. “but I do feel somethin’ for ya’ so you don't need to go runnin’ out on me.” You blinked up at him, feeling rather dense. “What?” you spoke incredulously. “Well I ain't asking you to marry me or nothin’ jeez, don't think I'm gonna get all soft on ya just cause I aint disgusted by whatcha said.” Dally replied teasingly.
It was your turn to widen your eyes at him, confusion colored your face. You were sure he meant what he said, but you had no idea why he was saying it. What did he mean by “I do feel somethin’ for ya”? Your stomach was fluttering and you felt your heart shake like it was jolted by a high voltage battery. Dallas moved his hands firmly to your shoulders, navigating you back from where you were lost in thought. “Hey, don't go gettin’ lost on me” he said as he shook your shoulders, not hard, but enough to completely snap you out of your escape from reality. “D’ya’ hear what I said?” he questioned, gazing into your eyes with a hint of tenderness, but mostly slight worry.
“... Yeah.” you replied. Blinking up through your eyelashes at him. You couldn't believe it. Dallas Winston wasn't repulsed by your feelings? You felt yourself slipping off into outer space again and quickly pulled yourself back down to earth. Doe eyes still resting easily on his beautiful features. “Well stop lookin’ at me like that sweetheart”. His New York accent peeking through on the last word. His calloused fingers brushed a wisp of hair covering your stare behind your ear, secretly wanting you to look at him like that some more. “Listen, ya’ know I can't say it right now but I feel things for ya’... things I don't know if I've ever felt before, so don' t go runnin’ off about it just cause I dont got the words right now”. He slipped the brown leather and sheeps skin bomber jacket off himself and wrapped it around you. He slid his hand down and gave your waist a light squeeze in reassurance before moving it back up and placing his arm around your shoulders. “C’mon, let's go back.” Dally said, you smiled back at him. You knew it wasn't going to be easy, but maybe you would be the girl to steal the boy who stole everything’s heart.
