The Outsiders and the Arts Headcannons

“If you can could I get gang headcannons for their girl doing pointe or any other type of dance?”

A.N.: I ended up doing this with all of the arts, so I hope that’s okay.

Pointe with Dally Winston would include:

He jokes about you doing ballet 24/7

Until he sees you dance in the studio

He’s absolutely speechless

He asks to attend any dance practices you have and simply stares at you in awe the entire time

“You’re my ballerina.”

For your birthday, he gets you a golden necklace with mini golden pointe shoes on it

Singing with Darry would include:

The first time he hears you sing is while you’re in the shower after spending the night over at his house

He stands by the door for a minute listening

Sodapop comes by and opens his mouth to make a joke

Darry puts his hand over Soda’s mouth and raises a finger to his lips

Sodapop pulls away and gives Darry the “stop being creepy” look

Once you come out of the bathroom, you see Darry sitting smugly on the couch

“So you can sing?”

Ever since then, you always sing in the car along with whatever song is on the radio

He calls you his songbird

Drawing with Ponyboy would include:

He always knew you were an amazing artist because he saw the random doodles that you drew in class

After school, he studies next to you while you draw something for art class

Sometimes you draw portraits of Ponyboy without him realizing 

Occasionally while you two are hanging out, he’ll ask you to draw something completely random 

You trying to hold hands with the one that doesn’t have smudged charcoal on it

Ponyboy always refuses to switch hands and grabs the one with charcoal on it with a proud smile on his face

Photography with Sodapop would include:

He always goes with you on mini escapades for a project

You love to take pictures of everything but your favorites are the candids of Sodapop

You joke that he’s your model

He always help set up the chemicals in the darkroom

First, you pick your favorites

Then you ask his opinion without telling him which are your favorites

Usually you two agree on the best ones

This is when he sees all of the candids of him

“Promise me that when you become a world famous photographer, you’ll remember me.”

“It’ll be hard to forget someone who’s standing right next to me.”

Acting with Two Bit would include:

He comes to every one of your performances

He always brings your favorite flowers

You sometimes try to run lines with him but he always does something that makes you break out of character and start laughing

One day as you’re practicing an emotional scene and you start crying, Two Bit rushes over to you

“Why are you hugging me?”

“I don’t like to see you sad.”

“I’m just acting,” you say laughing slightly and wiping away the fake tears

“You’re one hell of an actress.”

Writing with Johnny would include:

He always asks what you’re writing about

“Same thing as before.”

When you’re done, he always asks you to read the story to him

He stares at you lovingly as you read him the last section of what you were writing

He smiles every time you have to stop and edit the sentence, because he thinks you being mildly frustrated is cute

Whenever you finish and look at him with expectant eyes, he simply says “I love it.”

Cooking with Steve would include:

You two make random meals and every time you try to make it taste better than the last one

Sometimes you’ll have a competition of who can find the weirdest recipe to cook

There’s always a huge mess afterwards

Which was usually caused by a massive food fight

You tend to do more of the cooking

He does more of the cleaning

He always compliments your cooking and makes sure that you sit down and actually eat what you made

Imagine having a long distance relationship with Dally

A.N: This was written for my Secret Santa writing challenge. I was matched with @luranthiss. Also, an anon requested Dally fluff.

Being in a long-distance relationship with Dally would include:

Meeting him when you’re visiting your aunt for the holidays

You end up spending more time with him during the trip than with anyone else

You two became very close and when you had to leave, he gives you his class ring

You end up wearing the ring everyday

You always mess with the ring on the airplane to Tulsa from your hometown

Your “rule” is that you visit each other for at least a week once every season. You take turns making the trip to see each other. 

You tend to fly to Tulsa and don’t stay as long while Dally drives and stays in your hometown longer

You’re always on the phone with him for hours which irritates your family since they can’t make calls

Sometimes, your mom will get on the line while you’re talking with Dally to quickly tell you something. She always says hi to Dally and asks how he’s doing.

Dally is very close with your family

One day when you’re on the phone, he asks, “Are you cheating on me?”

“No! I would never to that to you! Why did you think I was?”

“It’s nothing. Some of the guys were just messing around with me. I’m sorry I even asked.” 

The guys always know when you’re coming to Tulsa because Dally acts a lot happier

He also becomes super nit-picky trying to make sure that everything is just how you like it

You and the guys get along really well

Once Two-Bit even tried to come with you two knowing that Dally had planned a romantic date for you

You always bring each other something from your hometown when you visit the other
