Okay I'm rewatching Power Rangers Megaforce "All hail price Vekar" and Damaras trying to be good towards Vekar is killing me.

Like he finally did something amazing (Got rid off the rangers) and he threw a small party and got the best drinks. It basically feels like him saying "Proud of you prince". But Vekar knows he's just babysitting him so he just goes "Get rid of them quickly" is also something that got my attention. Like Vekar knows Damaras is there to stop his foolishness and to ensure he survives and that mission went smoothly and any praise feels like it's just a fake compliment to keep him occupied so he doesn't fail the mission. Meanwhile I also feel like Damaras somewhat cares about him because let's be honest, caring about adult price is much easier than fighting on some planet where you can get injured and die. So I think he understands his behavior and just knows he seeks the approval of his father. So him being nice and patient with him when he could've easily got away with yelling is telling me he cares about him. Not because Mavro would kill him but because Vekar was just a child in an adult body seeking approval.

I just wish we knew what Damaras actually thought about Vekar. Also him going back to take his body and being sorry that he failed him is telling me he kinda grew close to him and loved him like a kid he never had.

Now that I have some time between now and my next exam I can spend some of it making a comic strip of my headcanons on what goes on in Warz Armada ship when they aren't all trying (And failing) to take over earth.

Yes it will include Damaras' mandatory 6 o'clock breakdown over being assigned to the biggest branch of idiots in the galaxy (nothing could make me hate you Damaras🩷🩷🩷)

Will there be angst? Obviously, what do I look like? A rock??
