Monster Folklore

So I have a question, in folklore and in legends, there's a lot of silly rules that monsters have to follow, or very specific things relating to them, stuff akin to:

- Headless horsemen can't cross bridges - Vampires have to be invited to enter your house - Vampires can be killed by being stabbed by wooden stakes, OR repelled by garlic - Vampires are born when a black cat jumps over their grave - You can become a vampire by being bitten by one - When a Human and a vampire have a child, it's a Dhampir - You can become a werewolf in the same way - Werewolves transform on a full moon - You can only kill a werewolf with a silver bullet - Ghosts can be trapped in quartz - Ghosts can be killed by running water Is there ANY more REALLY specific rules and features to these monsters? Not just limited to these few monsters, but any in general!! I'll appreciate any you can give! bonus if you could link to something that shows where it originated!
