But it’s plain, as anyone can see, they’re simply meant to be??????? But yeah they’re relationship is handled like garbage. That reminds me of how I’ve seen the Jack’s and Sally’s act at Disney World. Sally always acts like an idiot for some reason even though she was one of the smartest people in Nightmare Before Christmas.

Sally is literally the most sensible and intelligent person in the movie. She’s the only person who considers the logistics of Jack’s plans and tries to point out the flaws but he never listened to her. It made it hard to take their relationship seriously. And do they seriously do Sally dirty like that? I actually like her character in the movie.

Hello! I just finished watching your video about Other M, and I really enjoyed it. I agree with a lot of what you had to say about the game. I really liked the fact that it was focused on telling a story, and used cinematics to do so. I LOVED Adam Malkovich (and I really want to see more of him in future games!), and I really don't have a problem with the infamous Ridley cutscene. I've read most of the Metroid manga, and like you said, I think they do a good bit of fleshing out Samus' PTSD.

(Sorry, ran out of room.) The manga did a lot of things well, actually. :') I'd say that one of the main things I disagree with you on is the voice acting. I actually rather like Samus' voice. It is a little too monotone at times, but for the most part, I enjoyed it. Anyways, yeah, Other M is a good game. Not perfect, but still good! Keep up the awesome work with your videos! :D

And from what I understand the manga did involve Samus having PTSD. I wish the manga was more well known so people would know more about Samus. I want the games to delve more into Samus’s backstory and the Galactic Federation. I want a game that takes place during Samus’ service in the GF so we can elaborate more on that and her backstory, especially with the Chozo (I would kill to see Old Bird and Gray Voice animated in a game). But I don’t want Nintendo to see the hate for this game and never do a cinematic Metroid game (or stop them from making cinematics for other series).

I think the problem isn’t her voice, but her acting. Samus’s VA had a good voice, and if she was just talking I’m sure she’d be fine. But Other M is her only voice acting credit and it showed. Her acting was dull and totally lifeless, which doesn’t match up with the game trying to show a softer and more emotional side of her. That’s why I would have loved to have Jennifer Hale back. She can pull off a softer voice and if she can make dialogue from Mass Effect 3 sound halfway decent then she could have really improved the experience of Other M.
