Dance Duel!
DWTS, and everyone has done a pretty great job keeping everything quiet, until tomorrow! So here’s a fun question:
What song do you think Maks and Meryl, and Alfonso and Witney are dancing to for the duel?
I’m so curious about what they did, and what song! Or what you want! So say what you think! All for fun!😊💃🏻🙊😋

Thiruvaalankadu Siva Temple
Description: This is a vast and beautiful temple heralded as Ratnasabhai – one of the five Pancha Sabhais special to Nataraja featuring a sprawling well maintained temple complex with beautiful mandapams and gopurams. It is located within two hours drive from Chennai, and within an hours drive from Kanchipuram. The five dance halls are Chidambaram, Madurai, Tiruvalankadu, Tirunelveli and Kutralam. This is the 15th of the 32 Tevara Stalams in the Tondai region of South India.
Legends: Shiva is said to have defeated Kali in a fierce dance duel by lifting his foot up on the Oordhvatandavam posture. Kali is depicted in a dance posture as well here. Karaikkal Ammayar is said to have walked on her head to this shrine and her image is seen in the shrine to Oordhvatandavamurthy. There is yet another image of Nataraja, housed within the sanctum of Vadaranyeswarar. Legend has it that upon being requested by Naradar, to save the earthly beings from the rage of Kali, born out of her vanquishing the demons Sumban and Nisumban in the banyan forest in this region, Shiva agreed to a dance duel, and defeated Kali by raising his left foot, to adorn his ear with a earring that had slipped away during the duel – a gesture that Kali failed to imitate and admited defeat.
The Temple: A sprawling banyan tree constitutes the Stala Vriksham. There are inscriptions here which speak of grants given by Rajendra Cholan for the upkeep of the temple. Inscriptions here date all the way back to the 5th century. The towering Rajagopuram here, is visible for miles around. The towers and the walls surrounding the temple courtyards date back to the 12th and the 13th centuries.
It is inferred from the inscriptions that an earlier Pallava temple was reconstructed and renovated during the Chola rule, and during the later Chola period beginning with the reign of Kulottunga Chola I, the temple campus was enlarged (1075 – 1120). One of the bronze images of Nataraja unearthed here, now adorns the Art Gallery of the Chennai Government museum.
Stucco images depicting the five dance halls of Shiva (Chidambaram, Madurai, Tiruvalankadu, Tirunelveli and Kutralam) are seen crowning the entrance to the inner prakaram (see image above). Karaikkaal Ammaiyaar, one of the 63 revered Naayanmaars, was very closely associated with this shrine and her patikams form part of the 12 Tirumurais.
Festivals: The Margazhi Tiruvadirai celebrations witness festivities related to the
Cosmic Dance of Shiva.

Dancing with the Stars Week 7 Elimination
Well Tumblr is acting really strange so I'm going to do a quick rundown. This is the last Dance Duel that will be done and the two couples will be dancing a rumba. The encore of course was Maria & Derek. Again I didn't think it was the best dance of the night but I guess it was respectable. PS did anyone else realize that the encore is only done when Maria & Derek get the honor? Just a thought. Anyway, we learn that Katherine, William and Donald are all safe. No shockers there. Then we have a battle of the pros as coaches of their own teams. The coaches were Cheryl, Louis and Tony. They did a jive relay type deal. I really liked all of them and I personally liked Tony's team the best. But Cheryl's team won. Regardless, they were all amazing and it was a tough call. Anyway back to the results. We now find out that Maria is safe and so is MELISSA... WHAT?!?!?! Who in the world is voting for her. That means Jaleel and Roshon are both in the Dance Duel again. In the dance duel, they both do very well. It was a true dance for your life because each one knew how good the other was. This was a tough call also but like the judges, I would end up having to go with Roshon & Chelsie. It was so sad to have to see Jaleel & Kym go but he went out with dignity. So with that said, that was the results show this week.
Next week is there is going to be a double elimination. Roshon is really going to need to just lay everything out there to get votes if he wants to stay. And honestly since Melissa was not even in the bottom, I have no idea where she stands with fans so we could very well be surprised next week. Its also Instant Dance Week! I love these dances. So with all that said, I will talk to you all next week.
Predictions for tonight?
Tonight is the last Dance Duel. So with that in mind and taking into consideration last night's performances, who do you all think will be in the bottom two and of those two, who will win the duel?
