ACE ATTOBER 25

there's a thing called ace attober, and it's a art prompt thing yearly every october, in which every day you draw an aa character in the prompt provided.

i forget to post my art in here so LOLs.. heres days one to five!

TGAA spoilers. obviously. and i put in descriptions on my twitter which im more active on.

here's day one: defense! i'm really horrible at doing fingers and right now i'm improving on it LMFAO. here's ryunosuke. i was still finding the artstyle i do during then sooo..ya. i like experimenting wit these colors

it's ryutaro naruhodo! day two: objection. it's just a smaller doodle made on another drawing site because i was too sick. believe it or not this was actualy made day 3 but that was because i was really really super duper sick that day soooo... yeah! also i have another image of this but then the hand was on the left instead of the right so i just changed it around.

day 3: prosecutor. i locked in HARD on this one LMAOO.. it's prosecutor asogi. karuma took a while and i was originally gonna focus more on his chest but then i wanted to add karuma so... nope. i went a different style to enact the way he felt during that decade long torment of being hidden away from the truth of his own father's death. maybe i'll remake this.. the lineart seems too thick. i love you kazuma!

day four: ability! i'm not sure if it even counts, but i wanted to do a TGAA full run. since its my favorite duology out of all aa games. anyway, hey, it's iris wilson and her gun :) it actually took a whole on the positioning, and the hands, so it may look a little wonky. and also!! since it was 10/4, nanako dojima is there, since it was her birthday then!... sorry aragaki. i made my room green for you as a tribute. rest well.

and finally where we left off! day 5: defendant. this time, i wanted to do the van zieks brothers. barok was the defendant in "twisted karma and his last bow" and "the resolve of ryunosuke naruhodo", also known as my two all-time favorite cases ever. klint van zieks wasn't, but the connection to the professor and the case was an obvious point that i needed to cross. but originally! it was supposed to be gina lestrade and barok van zieks as they are the two defendants at the end of TGAA 1 and 2! also one of the struggles i faced was the fact that there was no back portrait of klint and i was STRUGGLING to find it LMFAOOOOO. not to mention!! he absolutely LOVES HIS 3/4 SIDE FACE. its so funny. and thats where i left off :)

TGAA 2 Spoilers

In which Sholmes tries to instruct Kazuma in the art of deduction but Barok objects.

A 4-panel black and white comic.

Panel 1: Sholmes stands to the left of the panel.  He has his left hand on his hip while he raises a finger on his right hand to make a point.  He says, "Obviously, what stands out about the victim is the knife protruding from his stomach. This suggests that the victim was stabbed to death." In the background to the right, a spotlight shines down upon a lifeless manikin representing the corpse. Its eyes are X's and its tongue is stuck out to indicate that it is dead. Furthermore, its arms are akimbo. A dagger is stuck in its stomach.

Panel 2: Kazuma stands to the right of the panel. Like Sholmes, he has one hand on his hip while the other points up as he makes his deduction. In the background to the left, the spotlight shines on the same lifeless manikin from the previous page, just from a different angle.  Kazuma says, "However, the lack of blood found at the crime scene suggests that the victim as stabbed after death. So the true cause of death may be--"

Panel 3: A speech bubble in the upper right reads "OBJECTION!"  Barok steps into the panel from the right, hands on Kazuma's back as he pushes him forward.  He is scowling.  Kazuma has gone stiff in shock, eyes wide in surprise.

Panel 4: Barok stands just to the left of the panel's center and has turned to face Sholmes, who stands in the foreground in the right. Barok points a finger at Sholmes as he angrily says, "I told you to keep my apprentice out of your nonsense."  His other hand is still on Kazuma's back, pushing him away from Sholmes and the deduction. Kazuma stands still as if resigned to this fate; his expression is unamused. The back of Sholmes can be seen, holding both of his hands up defensively in a half-shrug, completely unfazed by Barok's anger.

Now who tricked me into believing that 'the dance of deduction' was called 'the dance of seduction'.

I've started replaying The Stolen Turnabout, I rememebered that Luke Atmey exists, and so I had to. It was a calling

And also, sholmes without the words because everyone needs more Herlock Sholmes in their lives

that sentence made it 100% canon that the dance of deduction is a very literal occurance and I couldn't be more grateful
