I’d love to read a reality tv dancing AU. They currently have the first ballroom dancing male pairing on the UK show Strictly Come Dancing (who have danced some brilliant dances together and who are glorious to watch). If I knew enough about ballroom dancing I would be tempted to write Stucky as a celebrity/professional ballroom dancing couple, perhaps with Steve as a celebrity who surprises everyone by taking part but with a male partner, and then there’s lots of training together and getting to know one another with the background of dances and performances and public opinion …

As someone who spent the majority of their childhood watching Dancing with the Stars with my family, I am totally in love with this idea. Celebrity!Steve is so good; could be Cap!Steve or actor Steve or, well, any sort of celebrity. And of course he makes waves by choosing a man as a partner, classic Steve.

Bucky Barnes | Soloist with the American Ballet Theatre

Bucky Barnes has a passion for dancing. Ballet is an extremely demanding physical art form and he adores it; especially when Natasha Romanova visits from the Mariinsky. He started ballet as a kid and stuck with it, eventually joining ABT and working up to being a soloist. He’s not quite a principal yet, but he’s trying.

His snapchat and vlog are popular - they’re a combination of him making faces in training and backstage shots of rehearsals. 

He lives down the hall from his best friend - Steve - who lives with Peggy (his girlfriend who is also sometimes Bucky’s girlfriend), and often crashes at with him while Peggy’s out of town. After all, someone’s gotta make sure that Steve doesn’t overwork himself and land in the hospital again.
