Tadashi found Elsa dancing by herself at her kitchen. He had spent the night at her apartment because as usual, they burnt the midnight oil working on Baymax or studying for finals. He found her dancing the waltz with an imaginary partner, humming "Once Upon a Dream" from Sleeping Beauty. Sneaking up behind her, he caught her outstretched hand as she spun, like Prince Philip in the movie. He spun her around before she could react, both of them getting into a waltz position.
"T-Tadashi!" she sputtered. "What--"
"I hope I'm not cutting in," he grinned. "I'd ask you to dance, but honestly, I have no idea how to dance the waltz. You're going to have to teach me."
"I--" she didn't know what to say. Gathering up the tattered shreds of her dignity, she assumed what she hoped was a queenly mien. "Well then, let's get started. First..."
A year and a half after they graduated, they found themselves dancing the waltz at their wedding. Tadashi smiled down at her, his eyes glinting with mischief.
