My God, My Everything [I'm probably not gonna finish this but I lowkey wanna. So maybe in the future it'll be done. (The nickname was inspired by @sirensongsea I saw it was like, 'yup Dante would call him Angelface').] Lore/Drabble Context: Canon Divergence, Lady figures that, with the ascension ritual and such, if Nero can absorb some of his power, maybe it was possible to put devil energy back in. This started with Sparda, maybe a son of his could fix it. Dante thought it was a wild idea. (But what isn't wild in DMC). But still opted to give it a try for Nero's sake eventually. This would be the start of Credo and Dante's long standing relationship.

At this point, I like to think that Sparda blood could have some insane healing factor. (Cuz seriously, these guys heal from insane shit). I like to imagine that Credo's first and last glimpse is of Dante healing his wounds before he passes out. I like the romantism of blood being used and shared. Plus the fact that Dante being the son of Sparda is the object of worship for Fortuna ultimately. So the idea that this moment is very meaningful given what Credo has realized/gone through.

Holy Knight Coronation - Banquet of The Order of the Sword

((Outfits are inspired by @sirensongsea))

WIP Outfits for Credo when he is 're'knighted as the Supreme General of the Holy Knights. (This is after the events of DMC4. Yes a new Pope Holiness is appointed too).

Credo of course, can't be replaced. He's too good at what he does and is honestly the one saving grace from the Order.

Dante, naturally, shows up. His outfit is slightly the same but has some rose ornaments and his coat is threaded differently.

Credo is beyond nervous due to a multitude of reasons. Dante visits in his dressing room to give him a pep talk and much needed confidence boost for his speech.

What that confidence boost was is strictly between the two of them.

He Made Soup Mild Context: At the end of DMC5, Vergil and Dante happened on a little section of the Demon World where there's a commune of human loving, pacifist demons. Mainly led by Credo (who is shockingly alive but that's due to some greater threat in Hell). Dante and Vergil are crashing at this commune though Vergil is gone half the time. Dante sticks around with Credo and they end up building a relationship somewhat. (Credo is deeply enamored with Dante.)

I don't often like love triangles. But I can get behind two men fighting for Dante's affection. The man has been through enough and deserves to be desired and fought for, for once.

Anyway, thought bubble.

Credo makes Dante a cake. A strawberry shortcake to be specific. And it's like, perfect, like hella perfect. Dante is over the moon about it and is absolutely showing down. Vergil happens by and can't help but wonder why he opted for a cake instead of his usual sundae. Dante drops that Credo sent it to him. He baked it himself.

And Vergil is low-key fuming cuz this man is pining for his brother. It's so obvious. But he can't let it show that he is jealous. Or rather, he doesn't realize it.

Dante is paying it no mind for the longest. But noticed Vergil 's distaste. So he offers to share his cake comedically.

Vergil refuses. Deciding to suddenly be a gourmet about the desert and how it could have been "Done better to suit your tastes."

Dante notices this at the same time as Vergil. But the man leaves before Dante could get another word in.

Credo is trying his damnest to understand how the Son of Sparda can rack up so much debt in property damage while also saving the world. Dante will not elaborate.
