I’ve been seeing a lot of some kind of Dottore au, it doesn’t have a name per se but it’s been called “nerd incel Dottore” and I just like, genuinely are you hearing yourself at this point. Dottore? Incel? There’s nothing wrong WITH being a nerd but these harmful stereotypes romanticized ARE harmful.

And Dottore is a respectable person. He shouldn’t be dumbed down into something so disrespectful and disgusting for his character just because it’s “hot” it’s going to become another nerd gojo situation in a few weeks after people actually open their eyes to what that actually implies

Getting kinda sick of seeing ppl put Durin in nsfw and then use the excuse of him being 500+ like pookie no, that was the old Durin. Durin is a reincarnation. He is not the same age as before, just the same heart.

Yeah the new designs are disappointing but what’s even more disappointing is that genshin just stopped trying when making brown or at least tan characters after natlan. None for the lantern rite, none for nodkrai, none for dorman port and none for Snezhnaya.

And yes it is the same amount of disappointment as it is seeing the girls all have such revealing clothes but out of all of that, all the characters that has been released since natlan why is ifa the only one who has any melanin?

And if your excuse is “it’s cold so they obviously won’t have warm skin tones” then you can’t say that because if that was true then sumeru and natlan would have been way different and they weren’t. Climate isn’t an excuse and it never has been in a game where faeries, spirits, gods, etc are roaming the earth like it’s normal.

It’s just no excuse at this point and seeing them literally give up on character designs like this is extremely disappointing and in many ways disrespectful towards the player base

My opinion that I might get canceled for is that characters that are inhuman, animals, monsters, anthropomorphic etc and are dark colors like black, brown, dark blue, maroon or are animals or things in specific habitats that mimic real world poc shouldn’t be the only characters drawn as poc and I specifically mean black ppl when I say this.

As much as I would love to I can’t see myself writing the fanfics I dream of on ao3 because of just how judgmental those users are, maybe it’s just TikTok but I swear every other week I see them complaining another how much they dislike certain writng styles, some of which are actually very talented or just. Basic writing you have to learn in school

I’m honestly just worried, are you that brain fried that you can’t stand to read a few synonyms during a scene?? Just because it’s fanfiction doesn’t mean it isn’t FICTION it’s still worth thought put into it…

As someone insecure about my own writing and characterization skills I just can’t find myself writing for a site like that as much as I would absolutely love to.

I’m thinking of making a self aware genshin series because I don’t exactly like the way it’s commonly done, it feels more like a god au with some self awareness and not a “this game I’m playing has self aware character wth” kinda vibe, but it’s just my opinion I love it all the same

People are saying that since barbatos accepted Lohen he’d accept Dottore if he ended up in Mondstat prior to the events….

There’s nothing wrong with Lohen for barbatos to accept 😭😭 in fact DOTTORE is the reason why Lohen is even like that 😭😭

Otherwise Lohen genuinely would’ve been an npc in Dorman port
