ask: Hello! I like writing short stories, listening to indie music, analyzing fiction and I love horror, the Zelda games, and Studio Ghibli! Also I'm autistic and have ADHD. I would like to request romantic hcs for me and Abed Nadir from Community!

- You guys are lowkey everything omg.. a perfect match forreal!!

- Both of you love to do ‘project trades’ where you show him your newest story, he shows you his newest film, and you guys exchange reviews!! Helps get some fresh eyes on what you’re working on, and you love to see each other’s stuff.

- Movie nights go crazy!!! Sometimes you’ll draw movies out of a hat and sometimes you’ll each pick one and watch both. You’ll try to line up genres, like both picking horror or both picking something animated, etc! And you guys absolutely have matching letterboxd profile pics.

- Zelda playthrough. Everytime you play Zelda, Abed wants to just sit with you and watch. He’s not a backseat-gamer really, he just likes to ask a lot of questions about the lore. Sometimes he’ll do his homework on the floor while you play, cause he likes the game’s ambience.

- He’s kind of obsessed with your music taste. Like he genuinely thinks you’re the coolest person ever. When you guys first liked each other, you made him a playlist and burned it onto a CD just because you thought he’d like it better that way.

- When you gave it to him, he kinda shut down for a moment, before looking at you and completely deadpan going “I need to go to my dorm and listen to this right now.” and scurrying off. He came back the next week with a CD he made for you with his favorite songs. Despite his solemn exterior he was almost clearly nervous to give it to you and disappeared the second you tried to ask any questions.

- Matching halloween costumes. You guys do a whole halloween week thing so that you can do all the fictional duos (and trios when troy was available) that you could think of.

- Whenever you guys go to a theatre to see a movie, you always make sure you’ll have plenty of time afterwards to get something to eat and talk incessantly about it. It’s one of your guys’ favorite ways to decompress, especially when finals season rolls around.

- You guys go to a fair amount of conventions together, and whenever you cosplay, he’s always even more obsessed with you than usual. Typically you guys end up matching, (Howl + Sophie, Zelda + Link, etc) and he genuinely just thinks you’re so cool and so pretty.

ask: Hey! Could I maybe request a part 2 for the britta sibling hcs where reader bonds with the group and they each help reader with their depression and Britta too of course! Sorry if a slight retread! I just love how you write britta and R!

- Abed is definitely the kind of friend to sit with you when you’re struggling. He’s not the one to drag you outside, or force you to drink more water. He just shows up and Britta lets him in and you guys sit on your bed and watch the show that Abed knows will make you feel a little bit better. He offers up bits of trivia to make sure you don’t zone out and even gets you to split a pack of noodles with him.

- Whenever you’re with the group and feeling down, Shirley has a habit of pulling you aside to ask if you’re okay. It’s a little embarrassing because she’s not super subtle, but you appreciate how quickly she always clocks it. She hugs you like a mom and holds your hand like a sister, and tells you that you’re gonna be alright.

- When she pulls you aside, Britta usually does something stupid to distract the group a bit while you guys talk, so you’re not too embarrassed.

- Troy is a higher-energy companion. He likes to be the one who comes over in the middle of the night and makes you guys laugh so hard you wake Britta up and she comes in but instead of being upset she just suggests you all order delivery and you stay up half the night bent over laughing with the both of them.

- Annie is definitely more solution based, and I love her for it. She brings an extra water bottle for you because she knows you don’t drink enough. She has granola bars and fruit snacks in her purse that she pretends are for everyone, but you know they’re just for you. She also for sure helps you clean your room when it gets too overwhelming, with no judgement and no snide comments, just trash bags and a laundry basket and a Sunday where she has no plans.

- Jeff pretends like he doesn’t care, but not even he is buying it. One time when you were sitting in on a study sesh, you get a text from him that just says ‘You good?’ and one time when you said ‘Yeah’ he says ‘Meet me @ water fountain in two mins’ and when you get there, he crosses his arms and stares until you sigh and your voice breaks and your eyes get watery. His face falls and he starts backtracking, “Wait, don’t do that.” and when you start sniffling he sighs reluctantly and in an effort to stop the tears, offers up his arms. When you hug him tightly, he pats you semi-awkwardly on the head, not quite sure what he’s supposed to do now.

- After a minute, you scurry away in an embarrassed rush. But after that, he’s gentler with you. He never asks straight up, but he texts versions of ‘Holding up?’ more and more often. Britta warned you one night that you really shouldn’t tell anyone else about him caring, because he will resort to blackmail.

- Every once in a while, when Britta realizes it’s getting bad, she comes home with a box cake mix and the snacks you guys loved as little kids. It’s always enough to get you out of bed, and you guys spend the evening ‘cooking’ as best you can and eating snacks and face-timing the study group so they can see your creation. The selfie of both of you with frosting on your faces is your wallaper for a long time.

Struggles with anxiety and depression

Can be awkward with new people but can open up quite quick to people and can sometimes over share but don’t mean too lol

Love deeply, and quickly.

Can be hyperactive sometimes with interests and can over talk about them sometimes too.

Just love me some found family! And animals!

- always sticks right by your side when you guys are out and about, she’s always trying to link arms or interlock pinkies

- when you go through depressive episodes, she’s always tended to come sleep on your floor. it makes her feel better not having to leave you, and it means you guys can stay up and watch tv together

- she talks about you incessantly to the study group. like she’ll just go on and on and on. they think it’s mildly annoying but there’s nothing they can do to stop her

- loves to hear you talk about whatever your newest interest is, and will tell you about her gossip from school in exchange for hearing your stories

- omg.. okay one year for the holidays you had just gotten over a really bad depressive episode. britta spent months convincing your guys’ parents to get you a cat. she wrote papers and made slideshows and drew pictures and eventually they agreed and britta got to give you a cat as a gift. she was sooo happy about it and definitely barely managed to keep it a secret.

- eventually she brings you in to meet the study group. you had nothing to do and you needed to get out of the house so she dragged you along with her. you had made them some sort of cookies and even though you were super anxious to give them over, troy’s eagerness was so genuine that it put you at ease

- abed appreciated the movies/tv shows britta had told him you made her watch, so he was already a fan of you

- jeff had been hearing britta talk about you for months but he was pleasantly surprised by your sense of humour and kept trying to pretend like he wasn’t laughing at your jokes when he clearly was.

- shirley and annie were excited that there were finally the same amount of girls and boys, and insisted that you should come to game night next time they have one

- everytime you felt like you didn’t belong, someone would bring you back into the conversation until you felt oddly comfortable with them.

- when you finally left, they all hollered goodbye after you. britta showed you the groupchat later

Troy: btw ur sibling was super awesome im so down for them to come to game night!!

Annie: Yes!! They were awesome and I need to know where they got their shoes :-)

Shirley: You should’ve introduced us earlier! Or told us they were coming, I could’ve brought dinner! Yes on game night. ♥️🤗
